Eric this was a great video! Really enjoyed watching you figure out the openings. If more get released in the beta, some videos of you learning, and saying things like, "I could maybe imagine myself playing such a line" will be much appreciated. Knowing that you're learning more traps is always good banter :)
thematic opening tournaments are great and i'd like to see more. some openings i would like to see: - fried liver (especially this line: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 Nxe4 - jerome gambit
Wow I learned something new.. 😁😁 1. Knight can move like Hoppity Hoppity.. 2. You can be forked by Hoppity Hoppity.. 3. You can win through Hoppity Hoppity.. 4. Pawns are made for Pushy Pushy..
Continue with this type of content if u can, idk why but every time i watch your videos i want to play chess, love to see you playing funny lines and gambits tho, keep going 🙌
These openings tournaments are great! I would personally love to see more, and I think the rest of the community does as well. Some openings I would like to see The Sicilian (Any variation) The Fried Liver (Including counter option) The French Defense The Vienna The London And lastly, The Queens Gambit Love your content, Eric. I've recently hit 1600 in 2 months because you revived my joy for chess. Keep it up, dude!
YESSS!! I enjoyed it very much!! ANd precisely in the Spanish!! (I'm from Spain and before the chess boom I thought this was the only existing and accepted opening in chess 🤣like the "proper way to play") although I'm not sure you played it very classic... I enjoyed a lot!! Yes more of these thematic!! ANY OF THEM!!
12:09 never though i laughed at a chess game over your explaination. This ties to this this that i win either of the rooks the only problem is my rooks hanging.
Shhhhh lol the title lets the rest of us have a plot twist after thinking the loss is out of the way 😆 Plus he did say to his chat that he'd use this title ... He's a man of his word I suppose haha

Good to see Eric has days like us mortals. 😂
There already was one movie "playing unknown openings' by Eric :)
Awesome! The Spanish is my favourite opening in chess. So logical and classically principled while being incredibly rich in ideas.
Me: mhmm yes
Also me: Hangs a knight on move 6
My favorite too! If I'm white and my opponent plays 1 d4, I abort LMAO
@@tbones2583 you mean if you black?

"That one dude" 😂 I wonder what happened during that game with the dude.
Ruy Lopez Foreva!
Eric said playing these themed tourneys led to good TH-cam titles! That’s why I clicked!
Stayed because of the amazing chess
i just realised this, but if you want to tell if someone is a musician or a chess player, ask them to pronounce Bb5
But what if they're both a musician AND a chess player?
@@999SickBoy666 Bishop flat in the fifth octave
“Very strong baby” haha
Hi Eric! Love your videos, if there is any chance could you tell me the extension of that at 3:25 ?

I'd love to see a Caro Kann thematic opening tournament :)
Oh no -- my pawn! "all hanging assets may fool your oponent :)
Why didn’t u check mate with queen at 6:13 ????

Finally some love for the Spanish
So genius sir

Is the Berlin defense against the ruy lopez good?
Nah, only beginners play it
But also, it is quite good but heeeeeeeeavily theoretical.
seen your video from Afghanistan
Day 12 of asking for Chigorin/Breyer as Black in a long time control game
More thematic openings would be great.

LiChess all the way baby. The others simply...suck. Only one that's still also super nice is ICC but they have fewer players than LiChess.
