Sorry, but actually Yellow is technically a secondary colour - in terms of light, to produce yellow, you need to mix Green and Red.
I think what’s interesting about this whole storyline is that Arthur is not jealous that Vivi and Lewis are together because he wants Vivi or Lewis. He’s jealous because he wants something like that and feels like a third wheel constantly. I like that the animators did that rather than another toxic love triangle because it does make all characters likeable

Arthur (the yellow guy) arm did takeover and pushed Lewis (the ghost guy) into the spikes so the dog who I believe is called mystery bit off Arthur’s possessed arm which is why he has a prosthetic one

3:14 the human part of arthur is crying, I’ve seen this video tons of times and this is my first time seeing that. We know that he didn’t mean to push Lewis, and that it was a demon esc thing that possessed his left side which pushed Lewis off. Every time I see this I learn more, this series is amazing
This is true, but I think the thing that possessed him was actually amplifying his emotions. Because earlier in the van, Arthur looked very upset. So I believe that the spirit took advantage of that. Idk, all I know, is that Arthur would never kill someone on purpose lol.
I believe it was the bat that opened its eyes when they entered the cave. I would assume it has some sort of relation to the plant chick (not sure what her name is), as Arthur’s possessed smile is the exact same as her’s.
I think it was the Dog to be honest. The dog shows up on each scene Arthur is possessed and is seen at 3:15 kinda showing his true self it seems. Perhaps it's always been the dog.
Edit: Further evidence at 1:24 the dogs mirror shatters. Maybe it showed something inside that the mirror couldn't handle? This is all just a Theory, A Mystery Theory! Thanks for reading.

@@orangejuiceking7173 Lewis is the purple guy. Vivi is the blue girl. Arthor is the Yellow guy. Mystery is the dog/Kitsune
It's interesting to note that at the beginning, we see the trio of Arthur, Vivi and Mystery all happy with wherever it is that they're going. Meanwhile, when we see the flashback to when our ghosty friend was alive, Arthur looks more dejected than anything. His arm only started possessing him during the cave, but the colorization was green as it took control...such as green with envy. I don't think Arthur was wanting Vivi to himself or anything, but maybe he was envious that Lewis, our ghosty friend, had all that Arthur wanted? He was the leader, had a girl he loved and a goal in life while Arthur was in the background unable to get into the front seats. He had taken Lewis' place in the van, being part of the foreground whereas before, he was merely in the background barely able to be seen behind the others. Maybe he felt there just wasn't room for himself in the gang unsure of what to do?
I think conceptually this is the case, but on a more literal story-case, it was most likely... Spoilers below:
A possession of some kind, as we see that Mystery ripped the arm off (presumably to stop the spread), and when the reflection shows him, it's with no arm. So the possessing force may have fed off, or be conceptually based on, envy but that same force (black and green coloration) possesses Mystery at the end of The Future. And when that happens, it's after the loss of the plant woman, not something that would necessarily spark "envy" of all things.
@@dahliarose6024 interesting, I was more thinking that it was a piece of her that transferred when Mystery got attacked, like how we saw her hand crawling back and reattaching to her, same as her head in Freaking Out. I figured that instead of doing that, she used that control to take control of Mystery.
@@Swordkiller55623Nah, at the end of The Future we see it rewind and very clearly show his arm appear and squeeze Mystery's heart causing the transform into Murder Mystery.
We also see the arm cowering in fear and fleeing at the sight of Shiromiro, so it likely took the chance to use Mystery dying to take over his body and defeat her.
Either way 100% the arm possessed Mystery at the end, not only was it clearly shown but they took the time to show us the same events again immediately after to show why they happened, reason being he was possessed by the arm when he was dying.
Several years later it still makes me so sad to see Not-Fred fade away like that.

Not sure. I've seen dubs on TH-cam, but my guess is as good as yours.
Here’s my take on the story (warning it’s really long):
So The entire gang was together. Mystery, Vivi, and Lewis were happy, but Arthur felt like a third wheel. I think everyone else sensed this, but took no notice because they were happy, with Vivi and Lewis in a growing romantic relationship, and Mystery seemingly happy with that. They go exploring in a cave (Arthur with Lewis)(Vivi with Mystery). Arthur and Lewis’ path leads to a cliff overhanging some deathly spikes, while the one Vivi and Mystery go on leads to a view of the spikes on the ground. ??? possesses Arthur’s left arm( because it is an arm demon thing that possibly sensed Arthur’s feelings of resentment towards the closeness of everyone. Not enough for him to kill anyone though. Even if he is jealous) and causes Arthur to unwillingly murder his friend, while Vivi watches in horror below. Lewis( in some crazy spirit form) erases all of Vivi’s memories of him( based on the magenta color referencing Lewis in his spirit form) because he loves her and doesn’t want her to feel that kind of pain. While Arthur cries in horror at the act he unwilling committed. Mystery rips the possessed arm from Arthur’s body( reason for the mechanical arm). Mystery is referenced to be some Japanese shape shifting fox thing.
Fast forward
It’s now just three investors. The car crashes down( possibly Lewis magic? It’s magenta) and they stop at a creepy mansion. The start to explore and fell den a trapdoor.
The mirrors:
Vivi: the fact that she doesn’t remember Lewis, that part of her is missing, her eyes are missing, her mind is not seeing her memories right
Arthur: the fact the only has one arm because Mystery ripped it off when it got possessed
Mystery: He’s a shape shifter, so the glass broke because he doesn’t look like how he should, he’s not showing his true reflection, as a mirror is supposed to show you. As he never had just one reflection, the mirror shatters. Mystery is not in his true form
Arthur falls into Lewis’ final resting place( more like the place where he has been plotting revenge on Arthur) where Lewis reveals himself and reminds Arthur that he is a murderer and Lewis wants revenge on him. As Lewis is presumably about to attack/kill Arthur, Vivi comes in and stops him. Lewis tried to remind Vivi about their relationship by showing her the picture, or maybe he just wanted to give her his heart and soul... or both. Before Lewis can do whatever he wanted to do, Arthur swoops in and runs away with Vivi. Causing Lewis’ heart to literally break( over the Arthur and Vivi being together thing later on)Vivi wants to know who Lewis is, because she knows he was either important, or she should know him or something. Lewis, fueled by the rage that maybe Arthur had been jealous of Vivi and himself being together, and killed Lewis out of jealousy of their relationship just so Arthur could steal Vivi, goes after them in literal fiery rage. They escape, and Lewis is left, alone and upset about his failed attempt to reconnect with his love. He reveals that inside his heart, is a picture of himself and Vivi.
Part 2( go see it now if you haven’t yet):
Cherry( because her tree looks like traditional cherry tree flowers)( also Arthur’s arm demon is in the background) tries to create a flower that will bring her to Mystery (her flowers connect to the person in question’s soul/physical form). This doesn’t work for mystery (as the place isn’t connected to him enough), but it is extremely connected to Lewis, so a Lewis flower forms and helps Cherry find him. Cherry reaches in his soul to use the memory of people he knows from the paranormal investigation group to create their flowers and cuts them from her own hand. The disturbance Cherry made awakens Lewis’ soul. She got them all but Mystery, the shape shifter, so she goes deeper into Lewis’ soul to find Mystery. She succeeds in creating the flower. Lewis, feeling Cherry’s presence, angrily appears, attacking Cherry and beheading her. Lewis back his heart, returning it to its place on his chest, and destroys Cherry’s arm. Much to Lewis’ surprise, Cherry grows back her missing limbs and blows away the petals of the Mystery flower, which will help her find Mystery’s location. Cherry promptly disappears into the ground, probably to track Mystery. Lewis realizes that the flowers represent the souls of the gang. He gingerly picks up Vivi’s flower( later puts some of her soul’s petals into his heart to restore it because the petals reconnect Lewis to Vivi. The reason it broke was because the connection was lost). Lewis sees the Arthur flower and promptly steps on it, causing Arthur to feel a shiver of some sort. Arthur has possibly stayed up late at night to look for Lewis’ location. Finally, he erases Lewis from a picture. Upset, Mystery returns to true form( a katsune) Arthur’s fake arm starts spazzing out because of Mystery’s power and anger of Arthur’s attempt to get rid of Lewis. Mystery was warning Arthur what would happen if he tried to get rid of Lewis. Mystery knows what Arthur did. Mystery probably knew the murder was a accident. Arthur absolutely flips out and gets hit in the head. Mystery reforms to a dog and Vivi wakes up. Mystery gestures that he has no idea what happened. Vivi lays back down. Mystery finds a Mystery flower petal, and immediately realizes the evil behind it. Lewis restores his heart with some Vivi flower petals. He then gets hit by a truck, but then possesses/changes it to be FRIGGN AWESOME. Then drives away in it, possibly to find the Mystery Skulls van and finish what was started

Mystery grew Shimorori into a tree with his blood, but then failed to protect her(possibly abandoned her) and protected Vivi, who fought and beat the kitsune. Mystery’s duty is now to Vivi’s ancestor, and they go to earth. It’s possible that Mystery was the one to erase her memories when Lewis died as well. Another possibility is that Vivi just reminds Shimorori of her “killer”(possibly), and as the cause of her protector’s abandonment. Either way, Shimorori used the petals to track Mystery, and Mystery knows that she’s after him.
Edit: I don’t remember where I got this but kudos to the person who pointed out that when Lewis’ heart broke the first time, the mansion disappeared considering it was a construct of his powers. Using this logic, and the fact that his heart is broken at the end of the episode (he kind of feels bad for killing Arthur, they were friends) the cavern might disappear (thanks to another person I don’t remember, sorry).

After 3 years, I only just now noticed that Vivi was there at the bottom where Lewis fell.
Now I know why the most popular theories include Lewis wiping her memories.
Maybe her blacked out eyes at 1:26 is symbolic of her missing memories? Like how Arthur’s arm is also missing in his reflection?
I also think that Arthur may not even remember what happened to Lewis since in “Freaking out” he appears to be searching for Lewis on his laptop/map.
Yeah it's implied Arthur didn't exactly remember what happened clearly. He didn't know Lewis was dead, or that Lewis was the ghost from the mansion. It isn't until the very end of Hellbent he realizes these two things. By then it's too late. We'll have to wait for the next video to see what happens!

I knew them from WWE 2K15. Looked it up, found this video(when trying to find the original) but glad I did.
This IS the official video actually. The live action one was just a placeholder until this one was finished. The band actually comissioned this.
ok theres a lot of controversy about what the story is so im gonna go ahead and give my two cents :0
i've read a lot of stuff on different social media talking about this and i think i got a pretty stable theory
arthur (yellow) vivi (blue) ben (red) and lewis (purple) are all a gang that does paranormal research, much like scooby doo. when they enter the green cave, it's haunted by a spirit that possesses Arthur's left arm, and makes him push Lewis into the spikes. in the pan out of the scene, we can see Vivi at the bottom, suggesting she saw lewis die, but doesn't know who pushed him off.
Ben was behind arthur when it happened, and saw the whole thing. he tore off arthur's arm, trapping the ghost inside of it, and freeing arthur. the arm was later replaced with a mechanical arm.
arthur looks pretty upset in the flashback from the beginning. this could be because he originally didn't like lewis that much, or had feelings for vivi and was jealous. (which could have influenced the possession, and pushed him to kill lewis, though that wasn't his own intention)
ben turning into a kitsune in the picture could have been symbolism, or literally. i don't know what it means, but he turned into a kitsune in order to remove arthur's arm.
in 1:20, all the characters view the mirrors. this is a hint to all of their mishaps/insecurities about lewis' death. in Vivi's reflection, her eyes are missing. this is because she saw lewis die, but didn't see how he died.
In Arthur's reflection, he is missing his arm. this is because, of course, he doesn't have a real, living arm there, and that arm is what was responsible for killing Lewis, but that part of him is gone.
with Ben, the mirror shatters completely. this is because he knows how Lewis died, and that Arthur, with the demon, killed him. but it shatters because Ben is unable to tell anyone what really happened.
In the end, Lewis sees that his life is gone and there's no way to get it back, and moves on. (He disappears, along with the house.)
I think the characters bopping along to the music also symbolizes their connection with the real world, or being "alive". after Lewis died, his spirit stayed, symbolized by the beating gold heart, and was connected by Lewis and Vivi's relationship, which was symbolized by the picture inside the heart. After the heart broke and Vivi was dragged off by Arthur, the connection was severed and after that part the heart, as well as Lewis, never "beated" again, while the others still did.
we can also see at 3:12 that the spirit seemed to influence the ghost version of Lewis, Vivi's pain about not knowing what happened (being unable to see) and in the last bit, we can see Arthur holding back his own possessed side while crying, which also says he was really upset about what he did to lewis :0

the part where the arm gets possessed it looks like the dog was right behind him possessing him because if you look at the dog he looks very evil looking i think he was possessed and then which turn possessed the guy in yellows arm pushing off the purple dude
Heck it's been nearly 10 years and this series is still going strong! Oddly satisfying watching their heads bob to the beat throughout this song

if you're looking for a series with music to suit try major lazer not music 100 percent but most people who watch wish for full releases of a free songs in it. p.s. don't get mad at me but the music is kinda different to this type too but so good

In case anyone is curious about what happened in this MV, I wrote down below...
Let's get the names down first; The blue haired girl is named 'Vivi'.
The shaggy yellow dude is 'Arthur'.
The purple skeleton ghost is 'Lewis' and Finally we have our smart doggo 'Mystery'.
Now most people are confused about the backstory of the guys (the events in the mirror) So imma lay down the facts.
In the mirror we see the whole gang driving. Lewis is still alive, and everyone seems happy except for Arthur. This is mainly because Arthur is jealous of Lewis' and Vivi's relationship. They stop at a wierd looking cave to investigate and if you look at the top right hand corner you can see this evil bat demon thing 2:54. This is why Mystery is on edge when they enter, as he can sense it. Lewis and Arthur seperate from Vivi to search up top the cliff whilst she searches below. You can see her at the bottem left corner at 2:58. This bat thing poses Arthur's arm through his jealousy and we see Mystery see this from the back. Arthur then pushes Lewis off the ledge and Vivi sees Lewis hit the spikes.
(This is where you may some extra information.) Mystery is not just a dog but is a Kitsune in hiding.(you can see who from in the 'Freaking Out' mv) Anyway, a Kitsune is a powerful fox god with many tails. They are immortal and have abilities such as possession and *shapeshifting*(like into a doggo).
So when this all happens Mystery uses his magic to cover it all up. He wipes Vivi's memory of Lewis completely and also free's Arthur from the demon by snatching his arm. This is why Arthur has a prosthetic arm instead. Fortunately Lewis is brought back to life by another God like creature (Also known as Flower Hitler-Go watch 'Freaking Out').
Lewis remembers his death and wants revenge on Arthur and to be with Vivi once again which is why his magic stops the guys van at the beginning.
So that's basically the backstory, Hope it's helped you understand the plot a little better and maybe understand/notice the many hidden easter eggs Mystery Ben put in animating this awesome Mv. Thanks for your time♡♡

Maybe I interpreted the two vids in the wrong order, but I thought, they first accidentally encountered Lewis' ghost in some random mansion he started haunting after his death (this video). He reveals himself to Arthur (he gives himself his old haircut, and Arthur freaks out because he recognizes him that way) and turns into some sort of enemy after Vivi doesn't show the interest he expected her to show.
Then, some time later (--> mv "Freaking Out"), Arthur and gang chill in their van. Arthur watches on his laptop if Lewis has changed position. He's clearly afraid of him. This might imply that Lewis has been trying to follow them since they met in the mansion to get his revenge on Arthur - probably without Vivi knowing. Then some other enemy shows up - "flower Hitler". Apparently she wants to get her hands on Mystery (maybe his power?). She searches for Mystery and possibly tries to trace the group's/Mysterie's path. Eventually she discovers Lewis' presence in the cave. She doesn't know if there is a link between Lewis and Mystery, but she follows the lead anyway. She manages to find Lewis' ghost, who is chilling on some graveyard. She actually manages to get some intel out of him (while he is in the shape of his broken heart), when his ghost suddenly manifests and chases flower Hitler away (she decided not to battle because he seems stronger than expected but isn't even her main goal - in fact, he might come in handy considering her true target). Lewis then uses the magical flower leaves she left behind as a locating device for Vivi. Endowed with new hope and now knowing where the group is, he hijacks a huge truck and drives straight towards them.
It's insane to me that we used to get such amazingly well animated videos almost a decade ago. I wonder what happened...
