I bought a *jklux* super fake because I was still undecided on whether I liked it enough to buy the real deal. It arrived and it was great, I didn't need to buy the original one. The attention to detail is amazing and even shows in all the packaging and labels. It does make me feel a certain way about the designers selling these bags. They were selling it for about 10 times what I paid. They are ripping people off. Hermès is the worst at this - I imagine them in the board room laughing at how much people are prepared to pay.
When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from *jklux* on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.
Travelpro is my personal favorite for both a carry on and a personal item and they turn up at the thrift if you are diligent about looking. I recently invested in a bulletproof TravelPro crew 5 carry on to go with my personal item bag, ditching my lightweight TravelPro spinner in favor of durability. I can’t carry a tote anymore and am not buying any more bags.
chiming in here...I just flew British Airways. We were in premium economy which is its own section so there isn't a risk of you having to gate check. If you are bringing a wheelie or any other kind of carry on luggage and a personal item like a backpack or underseat bag, the underseat area is quite restricted because of how they design the footrest. I don't think you'd be able to fit one of those hard sided underseat bags. I brought a backpack that was within British Airways specified dimensions and it was extremely snug and it was not tightly packed or overstuffed. Just something to keep in mind for British Airways. The overhead bin on the otherhand is very generous but you are expected to only put one item up there.
Good to know! I’ll be flying on BA in economy. My underseat bag will be my work backpack, packed as lightly as possible. I am open to your suggested backpack. What did you use?
However I will also add that if you are wanting to slip it over the pull handle of your roller bag, the strap that you’d slide over is really tight and was a bit annoying
I go to Chinatown here in San Fran and buy a large black tote, two shoulder straps, other strap on it to hang on the suitcase, with zipper, and four outside net pockets for water bottle, coffee thermos, glasses..a small outside zip pocket, and plenty of room inside - for $15!!!! It's soft so I can put it under the seat in front of me. When I get to the destination I can use it for shopping or day trips. Stay frugal my friends!

kislux bags are beautiful and I have never been disappointed with a handbag. The leather is soft and the hardware is durable. The design never goes out of style.
I can attest to the durability of the *hotdups* . I had this bag stuffed full when I came home from high school. It has a lot of room. It has not worn out at all in 7 years. It is the sturdiest bag I have ever come across.
Backpacks tend to be the best for me at airports. I can no longer carry totes due to injuries from an accident. But a backpack nicely distributes the weight so it doesn't cause excesses force on just one shoulder. Also I'm hands free and can bend over without a tote sliding and falling to the floor. I also carry a very small purse and that fits inside the backpack. When I"m out of TSA I take the purse out and carry it so it is more in front of my body so I can watch over my wallet.
I've used an LL Bean medium size Lightweight Everyday tote bag. It's under the max size allowed but holds more than what I need to have readily accessible on a plane or for 24 hours. Simple and lightweight; it works for me.
Used the Foldie on Jet Star in Australia. Fabulous bag and light which.allowed me to pack more items. Folded it up and slipped into a pocket in my regular carryon which was too big for stingy Jet Star.
There is no point in being selectively angry. So you don’t believe in buying fake bags, a purchase is a purchase, regardless of the intention. I personally think it's crazy to care too much about how people want to spend their money. I bought real coach, marc jacobs, and mcm. If it's more than 1500, I'll buy a replica *jklux* . Guess what else I have in the bank, I'm a homeowner and drive a Lexus. I saw someone on TH-cam who had tons of luxury items, lived in their mom's house, and was broke
I'm so glad I got my dream backpack. I also bought a *hotdups* . So I think I'll hold off on buying any other luxury brands so I can show how much I love it. Thank you for the amazing video.
I love my Foldie! I have a travel CPAP, so it fits in there along with my travel pillow, meds, thin jewelry case, tech bag, purse, etc.! It fits fine under the seat, even with the bottom compartment unzipped. Love all your travel hacks!
I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it
I love a good *jklux* because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

I feel completely for you. I always take these lavender scented bags with me and put them in everything, ever since I had a scorpion in my luggage (Croatia)...I regularly clean the drains in the apartment with the kettle. Then nothing can survive...
The 17 inch Lovevook backpack and Level 8 carryon suitcase are my onlys!! Absolutely love them! Suggestion: With any new personal item play with it many days before your first trip with it. I’ve tweaked how I use my backpack and now it’s become routine as to where I put things and I’ve developed the muscle memory of how to keep it completely zipped up after accessing a compartment.

Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their *jklux* for example their style, your style will set you apart.

A lady I work for her house worth £3-4 million and guess what. Her dup luxury brands bags are bought from *jklux* worth £60 on the road. What l learned from her. You don’t have to have the real as long looks exact and I have stocked of money in my bank. I used to buy the real to a point realising I don’t need to waste money.
Thanks for the video. I would say that fakes have been around for years. I think it's only now coming to light because of social media. I have seen fakes of LV and Chanel since the 1990s and know how to get them if I want them *jklux* . So this is nothing new at all. If it seems like a lot, maybe people are just more aware than they used to of educational videos about real and fake stuff.
What I want to say is that I spent less than $ 100 from the fake LV I bought from kislux . The quality is very good. I spent four years on the plane, the bus, and anywhere. As a rag. I specially smelled the bag and compared the stitching color. This is the most authentic I have ever seen. To this day, this bag is still very strong. Although it has been abused, the material is still great.
Thanks for the video. I will say that fakes have been around for yeaaarrrrssss. I think it’s just brought to light now because of social media. I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. If it seems a lot maybe people are just more aware with educational videos on authentic vs fake versus before. I wouldn’t let fakes and replicas change my mind on purchasing a bag or not. If I like it, I will buy it. And the fakes are never the same as the real ones. If people can’t afford it and are happy with *jklux* to each their own. My favorite bag is the classic flap. Next is the Kelly, then birkin. I know many Filipino aunties that have replicas to all. And it doesn’t change my mind on them. If you look at the Asian community NEARLY EVERY LUXURY BRAND bag has fakes, including business affinity and trendy

Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for kislux , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, itâs your choice. No judgement from me
The Foldie is a great option for people who travel carry-on only to the destination and check 1 bag on the return flight. I did this last year when I went to Italy because I knew I would be bringing extra stuff home.
Am curious, so- you checked thru your carry on suitcase on the way back? I did this also, but then was left with two bags to lug around the airport- which was quite heavy on my back. So, am now rethinking things. Of course, I only put clothes/shoes/a couple books in my carry on that I checked thru on the way back, but anything breakable I wanted with me. I have family that want me to bring back some items from our next European trip, so I’m scouting things out now! 😏
@@dessireshallenberger2836 Yup. On the way out I used my suitcase and my backpack. On the way home I checked the suitcase and had my backpack and my Foldie thru the airport. Thankfully, most of what my sister and I bought and wanted to bring home was fairly lightweight, so it wasn't too bad.
@dessireshallenberger2836 I am done lugging heavy personal items through stadium-sized airports. My personal item has to have at least 2 wheels. I also sometimes go carry on over and check luggage on the way back. The personal bag with wheels makes walking around so much easier and can also lug your purse. Laurie never checks luggage, so she can take any type of personal item and put it on top of her suitcase.
@@achevresI am with you, I cannot carry a backpack or crossbody bag through an airport. I have a wheeled bag that fits under most seats but need to replace it. What bag do you use and would you recommend it? Thanks in advance for any information you can share.
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
❤😊Thank you as always, Laurie. You’re the best! I have almost ALL but the Nomad Lane tote, of these bags and my favorite is the Tumi backpack. I’ve had it for over a decade. But I may get the Nomad Lane tote soon. I just prefer carrying weight on my back - not my shoulder.
I had my upholsterer add a backpack strap to my Nomad Lane tote, and it makes all the difference in the world! The original version of the Nomad Lane tote did have a backpack strap, but in the V2 they omitted it.
I won't let fakes and replicas change my decision on whether to buy a bag or not. If I like it, I'll buy it. And fakes will never be the same as the real thing. If people can't afford it and are satisfied with *jklux* give everyone their own.
A Day Owl backpack is one of the best things I've ever bought. It was ridiculously expensive to buy from outside US but I've used it for work and travel for 3 years and it looks new
@TravelTipsbyLaurie I like that nothing sticks out physically or style. The waterproof waterbottle/umbrella pocket is inside and the front pocket is flat. It is pretty plain and simple so I can use it casually or for work. The strap doesn't have any hardware that digs into my body in awkward places. It is a bit floppy without a laptop in the back
One thing I always laugh at is when people say that by buying fakes you are engaging in illegal activity, don't you keep up with some of these big brands and what they are involved in? Haha, selective morality is hilarious. *jklux* But either way, it's in your best interest and as long as you don't try to resell it as genuine, it's no one's business whether your bag is real or fake
Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock, the hardware, the stamp, the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap. The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *jklux* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.
I heard that LV no longer conducts appraisals because the quality of fakes is so good. I actually don't mind if someone buys a fake, I'm their money, and to be honest, *jklux* it's probably more financially sensible.
Love all Baggillini's. The problem is, Marshall’s will get a shipment and people buy them all and resell on eBay, etc. so I don’t get many now. They never wear out.
Thanks for all your great recommendations! I bought the Lovevook backpack in black to take on my recent trip to Jamaica. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. I did as you suggested and did not over stuff it. I also bought a Samsonite, hard exterior carry on with great wheels which fit nicely in the overhead compartment. Your opinions and suggestions were greatly appreciated. ⭐️✈️🏝️
I bought the 15.6 gray Backpack you recommended and I am in love. I can’t believe how much I can pack in it. I have used it for (2) 2 night trips out of state.
I prefer my underseater or my packable backpack for my personal item. It fits a lot. I don't like duffle bags for a personal item. It gets heavy to carry. So I will only use a duffle for a road trip, where I don't have to carry it far.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
A few years ago I bought a Birkin bag and take it with me everywhere I go. I worry about it getting stolen or damaged, so I'm worried when I go out. I was tired of this mental burden, so I bought the kislux bag.
I own a foldie, and I love it. I used it on my 9 day vacation in Mexico, it worked great for me. Now my vacation was at a resort where we sat by the pool or beach, drank, and read trashy novels, so I didn’t bring any fancy clothes. All I had were 3 swim suits, 3 pair shorts/tops etc. The Foldie worked great for me.
Really, let the truth be told, any luxury good to include handags can be found outside of the authentic maker. Who cares what the next person decided to spend their money on, or the next person decided not to spend their money on. Because I see the person in line in front of me carrying a *jklux* of a style/brand that I love doesn’t stop me from purchasing the authentic bag, if I wanted it.
The Fjall Raven KÅNKEN backpack is fantastic! Zips like a suitcase and holds much more than you would expect but is small enough to meet all the airline’s requirements. I found mine at an upscale thrift store and used it on my Australia trip where we had strict personal item guidelines. Highly recommend! I found strap covers that made the backpack straps comfy. It also can double as a city bag to hold your stuff while you explore.
I would need padding on the straps in the back of the bag because they really dig into my back and cause a lot of pain carrying it around if it’s full. I would probably choose another bag for travel due to this.
The materials used are top notch. The leather feels soft and luxurious, exactly like the real thing. The stitching is impeccable, with no loose or uneven lines. The hardware (including the iconic CC twist lock clasp) is durable, well made, and adds to the overall elegance of the bag kislux . I thought everyone who owned an LV monogram bag knew that it was obviously coated canvas? When people spend a fortune on an expensive bag, they might as well buy a replica
My favorite bag to use is my Uniqlp round bag in large, it's small and very spacious! I also use a backpack as my personal item bag, I prefer the Herschel backpack since it's cute and has lots of pockets.
I am just watching this video now and I already know what bag you are referring to and I feel the exact same Iâve been thinking about it since it was released and I have been thinking should I just treat myself for Christmas kislux
Ilove my Lovenook striped bag, it has been to Greece and Europe. I did buy a strap so I could put over my shoulder, using as a backpack wasn't always convenient. I'm considering cutting off the backpack straps.
LOVE your videos Laurie. A breath of fresh air and I am always learning something. As a fan of Tumi, I am glad to see you bringing some of their stuff to the fore. I really like that bag. It is so functional yet stylish. It has a lot of space, but you don't have to fill it and it will look good whatever you pair it with. That military green goes with everything. Wonderful as usual. Wishing you all the best on your travels too.
I love my foldie for souvenirs. Packs in my luggage without really taking up space and then I don’t have to try and fit all the souvenirs in my luggage on the way home. Used it for my Europe trip last year and will use it again this year.
I travel with a boho elephant fabric cross body bag. The first one's zipper broke after 10 years so I got a new one which is slightly deeper so I used safety pins to shorten it for my Frontier flight coming up. It works for me at $14.
Two weeks ago I was in Paris wearing a fake kislux Chanel bag and people thought it was real. I had a lady compliment me when I was in the Louvre. It was an unforgettable experience.
I sent the Lovevook back because it had no cross body strap. I tried slinging it on my shoulder with a backpack strap but it was really awkward. The two handles were very short, so no go there. Right now, I am debating between a MyGreen vs a Cabinmax Manhattan. I may wind up keeping both. The MyGreen is really great because of the crossbody strap in addition to the backpack feature and the handles are adjustable! 2 side pockets, great for an umbrella. The Cabinmax is beautiful and also has a cross body strap along with the backpack feature. The side pocket is huge for a water bottle. Both conform to EU economy airline standards!
Thanks for the info on the Foldie. I do not understand the hype. It reminds me of my hugely oversized teacher bags from the 90’s that were so dang heavy and probably contributed to my aches and pains! I really like the foldable Paravel duffle for a possible extra bag for purchases in my carryon.
This is a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually touristy ones), so I usually go in *jklux* to go shopping
Always enjoy your videos, Laurie! I have an older version of the Foldie (no side pockets) and I have to say it's the first one I reach for when traveling! It weighs next to nothing and it carries SO MUCH. I can fit almost my entire suitcase's things in there. I also like that it's slouchy and not structured--makes it a lot easier to squeeze under the seat in front of me. I've never had any issues getting it onto an airplane (I also don't extend it for carry on), but I also haven't traveled on any airline that is super strict about the dimensions. But just in case, I also like that it seems to be sturdy enough to check if I had to. It can get heavy to carry, so I do have to be mindful not to overfill it, especially if I won't have a rolling suitcase to attach it to. It is also perfect for road trips. I have a backpack similar to your striped one with the meta bar at the top, and I never found it comfortable for travel, so I use it to carry my laptops to work. Always been curious about the Nomad Lane bags--thanks for including them in your video!
The foldie is great as long as you don't fill it to the brim! If you do, you'll need wheels! I love Travelon bags, which are not cheap, but they have a large number of theft proof bags.
My favorite and go to back back got travel is the Solgaard medium venture. Great organization and padded shoulder straps. I’m 5’1 129 pounds and can carry this one.. Pricey but worth it
I think the foldie is great. I haven’t used it as my personal item bag though. I’ve used it as (1) an extra bag to bring back extra stuff at the end of a trip and (2) as a weekender or overnighter. I have the 2.0 but recently got the new version to give them to my college kids to keep in their dorm. It folds down and is perfect to store in a small space, but huge, so perfect for them to travel for a few days.
What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a kislux for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?
That Tumi backpack is really nice but it’s basically a clone of my Amazon backpack - similar to your striped one but all navy and gold hardware. It does have only that one zipper around the outside pocket but it has two other front outside pockets (or back? Since it’s a backpack) so not really a problem. Also a secret passport pocket on the other side. I love it.
Osprey Daylite 26+6 backpack is my new personal item backpack. Expands to 32L for souvenirs on the way back, has water bottle pockets, laptop sleeve, horizontal trolley sleeve, and it’s lightweight. $100.
If anyone is looking for a Foldie-type bag, don’t bother getting a fake. The Foldie is higher quality in every way. The main thing to me is that that outer pocket on the front (the one you would fold the bag itself into) has a TWO WAY zipper. The cheap ones only have one zipper, so when you open it things can fall out the side. Laurie mentioned this same problem with a different bag.
I took both of my Nomad Lane Totes (different colors) to my upholsterer and she added a strap to make them a backpack also. Nomad Lane’s first version of the Tote had that feature and I was disappointed when the V2 did not have that capability. Love them even more now!!!
I'm team tote bag. I want to love the backpacks, but I don't do a backpack well. I wish the totes had a laptop sleeve. I'm still searching for the "perfect" one.
Thanks for reviewing the Foldie. At one point I was seeing so many ads on Instagram for them. I wasn't tempted to buy one, though, because it really doesn't seem to be any different than the bags on Amazon. I have one of the Amazon bags and it looks the same, is just as larger (if not larger), and is at least half the price of Foldie.
The key lanyard is great for AirPod cases… I use a case that is leather with a solid snap so the case doesn’t flip open and I lose and AirPod. It also has a loop that I can clip the key lanyard to so I don’t accidentally drop AirPods out of my bag.
Hi Laurie! Do you have a recommendation for a garment bag that folds up and doubles as a carry on bag that you can pack more stuff in? I swear I saw it in one of your videos, but cannot find it or in your Amazon store. Thanks!
please do a video for recommendations for the differences in underseat size between aisle, middle, and window. There is a difference. I like aisle and had issue with using my Beis carry bag because it is not so smashable. ie. if you have aisle on United you have to leave the shoe zip section behind. luckily I was able to unzip the shoe zip section and put overhead but my co flyers were not happy at my fumbling with the bag. Advice on specific to which seat you normally like would be very helpful and which bags are suitable for each would be very helpful.
My backpack suitcase was my best purchase for a 7 flight trip to Europe. It was supposed to be to be 5 flights BUT I got caught in cyberfailure a few weeks ago. I was so happy not to have to worry about a checked back when I didn’t even know when, where & how I was going to get back to the USA!
Enjoyed, and agreed with your fabric and use and color descriptions. Your travel experience shows. I would have also enjoyed some discussion of dimensions. When push comes to shove at the gate, the airline won’t care what color the bag is so much as their particular rule for how big the bag is, right?

What hard sided underseat bag are you talking about? I'd love to see its dimensions.
Good to know! I’ll be flying on BA in economy. My underseat bag will be my work backpack, packed as lightly as possible. I am open to your suggested backpack. What did you use?
@@SmallWorldFilms Not sure if this will help but it's 13" and I just found it. Not a backpack but looks like one: amzn.to/4cVSU8o
I had the Ecohub 16” travel backpack. I liked all the different pockets
However I will also add that if you are wanting to slip it over the pull handle of your roller bag, the strap that you’d slide over is really tight and was a bit annoying
I'm such a poor fellow I can't bring myself to pay more for a backpack than I would for a round trip ticket to Portugal.
I agree I’m not cheep but dang 😮
I agree - $475 for the Tumi is a little pricey
Woof! That Tumi is waaaay too Cha-Ching for this traveler! Still have my black Tumi computer bag from my professional days - I’ll just use that!💕
I go to Chinatown here in San Fran and buy a large black tote, two shoulder straps, other strap on it to hang on the suitcase, with zipper, and four outside net pockets for water bottle, coffee thermos, glasses..a small outside zip pocket, and plenty of room inside - for $15!!!! It's soft so I can put it under the seat in front of me. When I get to the destination I can use it for shopping or day trips. Stay frugal my friends!
No one has the right to be offended by what you do with your money, you work for it, so where you spend it is entirely your choice. Enjoy your *jklux* and don’t feel guilty
kislux bags are beautiful and I have never been disappointed with a handbag.
I just traveled with the foldie and it fit under the seat (JetBlue). No problems.
Yay! Thanks so much.
Love my Lovenook! It holds more than any other personal item tote or backpack I own. Thanks for recommending!
They do hold a ton!
I love my Foldie! I have a travel CPAP, so it fits in there along with my travel pillow, meds, thin jewelry case, tech bag, purse, etc.! It fits fine under the seat, even with the bottom compartment unzipped. Love all your travel hacks!
Wow that’s great!! Thx for letting us know.

I like this video very much, because I like bags, like everything about it, and I also like *jklux* bags, which always satisfy me.
Great tip!
What kind of items do you put in the pockets? I really want this backpack but I think I would be overwhelmed with all the pockets.

I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *jklux* and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I got the Travelpro under seat bag that matches my carry-on. Love it. Huge inside, rectangle shape, great outside, inside pocket, and a side pocket with a trolly strap.
Thank you!!
When made with Chinese leather you never know where it comes from or what the leather is made of *jklux*
Thanks for making this video on suggesting more budget friendly alternatives. Love it!
Thank you for watching!
Although it has been abused, the material is still great.
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Backpack kislux - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
I have the Foldie and absolutely love it. It's great for travel and makes a great gift for traveler or college student.
It really is!
I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for kislux , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, itâs your choice. No judgement from me
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
That's why I will be buying a July checked trunk with latches next year.
I, too, have a Tumi backpack. My favorite personal bag so far. Great quality.
Yes, it's the ONLY tote bag I like...but I actually love it.
This is why rich people are rich. Instead of wasting money on wallets, they invest in meaningful things. For bags, *jklux* is enough.
A Day Owl backpack is one of the best things I've ever bought. It was ridiculously expensive to buy from outside US but I've used it for work and travel for 3 years and it looks new
Thanks for sharing!! What features do you like?
I never knew you had a black cat! I'm glad you mentioned wearing a backpack frontways. Going to Puerto Rico.
Ooh red beans and rice!!!
I was thinking the same thing - about the cat!
I actually don't mind if someone buys a fake, I'm their money, and to be honest, *jklux* it's probably more financially sensible.
he variety of textures in the *jklux* tpack is impressive. From smooth leather totextured suede, there's something for everyone.
The *jklux* canvas tote bag actually reminds me of Hermes Garden Party, too.
The tote bag reminds me of my Baggillini from years ago, I love, that I got on a great discount at Marshall’s.
Love all Baggillini's. The problem is, Marshall’s will get a shipment and people buy them all and resell on eBay, etc. so I don’t get many now. They never wear out.
I ❤ all of my Baggallini bags. I always luck up at TJ Maxx.
Thank you guys for the Marshall’s tip.

Fun bags! They each are awesome for what they offer! Thank you, Laurie!
Oh yay! I saw a new one at my book club last night! I bet it was a 17" one though.
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
I bought the 15.6 gray Backpack you recommended and I am in love. I can’t believe how much I can pack in it. I have used it for (2) 2 night trips out of state.
I'm so glad that worked out for you!
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
I prefer my underseater or my packable backpack for my personal item. It fits a lot. I don't like duffle bags for a personal item. It gets heavy to carry. So I will only use a duffle for a road trip, where I don't have to carry it far.
Yes but I do like when there is a trolley strap for it to fit on the suitcase handles.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
The *jklux* would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i'm thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
Nice ideas for smaller personal bags. I like my Bagallini tote, light and so many pockets. These smaller bags are great for seniors for less weight.
I totally agree!
Thanks for sharing! Those resorts are the easiest to pack for aren't they??
Really, let the truth be told, any luxury good to include handags can be found outside of the authentic maker. Who cares what the next person decided to spend their money on, or the next person decided not to spend their money on. Because I see the person in line in front of me carrying a *jklux* of a style/brand that I love doesn’t stop me from purchasing the authentic bag, if I wanted it.
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
@@kittykathy9532 They make padded strap covers. I got them for my bag.
Can you provide the link for the seller of that kislux bag? Thanks,I have no qualms about buying kislux .

Ilove my Lovenook striped bag, it has been to Greece and Europe. I did buy a strap so I could put over my shoulder, using as a backpack wasn't always convenient. I'm considering cutting off the backpack straps.
Ooh that's creative!
Hi! Yes if standing, it does not budge. Very sturdy yes very functional.
I love kislux that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
I love my foldie for souvenirs. Packs in my luggage without really taking up space and then I don’t have to try and fit all the souvenirs in my luggage on the way home. Used it for my Europe trip last year and will use it again this year.
It is such a great bag!
I just returned from Holiday using the Foldie as my personal item. It was a bit heavy because I used a liner for it to stand straight.
All dat kislux bags sssssoooooooo gorgeous
I love you so much! I recently just found your kislux and i’m in love!! Your videos are so fun and you energy is just MWAH! keep living your life
Really great video!! I especially loved the black tote bag! 😀
Thank you for reviewing the Foldie. It is ALL over my Instagram feed and I’ve been tempted to buy it!
They are marketing big time! It's a great bag and company.
I ordered the Foldie a few days ago. My plan is to use it on the way home for the tee shirts and hoodies I always buy on vacation.
Totally! The pilot wives like I said would do that. Great plan. You’ll love it
Thanks for the info on the Foldie. I do not understand the hype. It reminds me of my hugely oversized teacher bags from the 90’s that were so dang heavy and probably contributed to my aches and pains! I really like the foldable Paravel duffle for a possible extra bag for purchases in my carryon.
It's great but just large.
I am planning to buy a travel bag and this video is a big help❤ i have a lot of choices to choose from. thanks Laurie.
I have to feel and test mine so maybe look for free shipping if you cannot test in person.
This is a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually touristy ones), so I usually go in *jklux* to go shopping
Your hair really looks great in this video.
Thanks!
I love hearing different views of those who've traveled with it.
The foldie is great as long as you don't fill it to the brim! If you do, you'll need wheels!
I love Travelon bags, which are not cheap, but they have a large number of theft proof bags.
Thanks for those!
Laurie, can you recommend a packable lighted magnification mirror for travel? Thanks
YES! Just found mine in my old cardboard tsa bin props: amzn.to/4felQtJ
It’s great!
I love backpacks but rarely use them for travel, so crazy 🥴 These look absolutely great!!
And with a child it would help so much so you can be hands free.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie | You’re absolutely right
I have the Floless Workshop bag. Have you heard anything about this one. I have yet to take it on a plane but works great for short local trips
Oh super. Just check the dimensions for the airline and you’ll be good to fly
kislux versace bag is so cute
What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a kislux for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?
That Tumi backpack is really nice but it’s basically a clone of my Amazon backpack - similar to your striped one but all navy and gold hardware. It does have only that one zipper around the outside pocket but it has two other front outside pockets (or back? Since it’s a backpack) so not really a problem. Also a secret passport pocket on the other side. I love it.
Pretty sure Amazon copied Tumi and not the other way around. It’s a common design.
So glad!
Hi Laurie I’m traveling to New York this month from Scotland with United Airlines. I’ve got the backpack like your Lovevook striped one
Have a beautiful trip!
Thanks!
I took both of my Nomad Lane Totes (different colors) to my upholsterer and she added a strap to make them a backpack also. Nomad Lane’s first version of the Tote had that feature and I was disappointed when the V2 did not have that capability. Love them even more now!!!
Wowzers!
I'm team tote bag. I want to love the backpacks, but I don't do a backpack well. I wish the totes had a laptop sleeve. I'm still searching for the "perfect" one.
Minkee Blue has a really nice tote with a full-width laptop sleeve. I have one & I love it!
I hate back packs because you have no quick access: you always have to set it down to get things. I am also paranoid about thefts from behind
Did you see the tote bag at the end? It is the ONLY one I've ever liked to travel with.
It’s a great bag and some have mentioned that it does fit under airplane seats.
Great options Laurie, thank you! Just recently found your channel and am just so enjoying all of your great travel tips.
Welcome!
Thanks!
I'm going to Scotland next week for 10 days with only carry on, thanks to you. I know I can do it.
You can do it!
Thanks 🙏🏼 I appreciate your videos. Your information is always helpful and useful.
You are so welcome!
My Briggs & Riley handles seem to be too wide for a lot of the trolley sleeves/ 😞
Going to Paris. I to non rev! Thank you for your tips.
please do a video for recommendations for the differences in underseat size between aisle, middle, and window.
En el momento en que vi el bolso kislux , supe que tenía que tenerlo.
When you find a good bag, it's so helpful!
Enjoyed, and agreed with your fabric and use and color descriptions. Your travel experience shows. I would have also enjoyed some discussion of dimensions. When push comes to shove at the gate, the airline won’t care what color the bag is so much as their particular rule for how big the bag is, right?
Yes one of my main travel tips is to check your airline’s rules for that flight since they all vary.
