+Rob Lopez That's great, Rob! I am super glad that you are a big fan of fish identification also. Thanks for watching and following the Channel. Tight lines and fish on!
Pretty much, Capn Heebes! I think my Instagram profile intro mentions the Pokedex. Haha. Species will keep coming here on the Channel! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Really cool just got back from Florida and saw a bunch of those houndfish swimming in schools by a pier. Gotta love all the exotic wildlife down there.
Right, he's so personal and human, no over the top production, no complaining and talking like he's a trophy master like most of the channels. He's just super smart but human at the same time.
+Juan Gomez That is awesome, Juan! One of the main goals of this Channel is to get more people hooked on Multi-Species fishing, so I am glad that you got into it! Thank you very much for watching my videos. Tight lines and fish on!
+Extreme Philly Fishing about a year ago i visited Miami Beach, FL. I was fishing a saltwater canal just like you and caught two barracuda on a 4 inch Rapala original floater.. would love to go back again!!
Great trip. I am not even sure how many species there are in Ontario. I'd have to look that up. There's so many of the them that I just don't fish for. I should make an attempt to diversify the type of fish I catch and see what's out there. Great video
+The Fishing Experiment Heh. I would say that it's always fun to diversify your catches because you get to learn more about: (1) the fishes that surround you; (2) the local ecosystems; (3) different fishing techniques; (4) new places to go to. So, it's always a win-win for that. Tight lines!
Great videos! Love your channel! Kind of random, but in the spring you should host some subscriber bass fishing tournaments! That would be great! Keep up the good work!
+Nathan Seifert Thanks for watching and following the Channel, Nathan! I actually do host 2 Tourneys every year; however, my tourneys are not Bass competitions. They are actually non-profit Catfish competitions. Hah. Tight lines!
+Extreme Philly Fishing wow that's fun! Hopefully I can participate in one this upcoming year. I have 2 friends who love cat fishing so maybe we'll come out!
hey leo i love your vids I'm going to the blue ridge mountains in gerogia for some stocks rainbow trout do u think i can bring berkaly power bait doe trout stuff on the plain
+Will Evoy Thanks for watching and following the Channel, Will! For the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia, I would actually recommend you some in-line Spinners and Trout magnets. In particular, I would recommend to you the Thomas E.P. Series in-line spinner, 1/8 oz.; though, other spinners should work as well! Tight lines and hope you catch some Trout there!
+Extreme Philly Fishing thanks I must say you brought me into multispecies fishing thanks for that man that's something I can't thankyou enough for 😄 have an amazing day, tight lines!
I appreciate your suggestion, Zac Johnson; however, the fish in the video was indeed a Houndfish (_ Tylosurus crocodilus_). Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Thank you very much, Captain W4ffle. Glad that you enjoy them! I will eventually be bringing lots of micro-fishing videos here on the Channel. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Wait... you're supposed to put the micro chip on that thing right there? Half the stuff in my GO-PRo I have no idea what it's used for, IE: like the adapter haha
+JPJ Hunting Outdoors I am back to Philadelphia, PA now. :) But the Guadalupe Bass is definitely another Species that I have to add to my list. Tight lines, JPJ!
I heard stories of people getting stabbed by houndfish, they got those in NJ, but I don't know where to catch them. Gator Gar of the sea but easier to catch.
+Porter Osterwise Thanks for subscribing and watching, Porter Osterwise! Glad that you are enjoying the contents of the Channel. Tight lines and FISH ON!
+Omega Swizzy Hah. There are lots of nice and crazy fish out there, Omega. That is one of the fun aspects of being a Multi-Species angler -- you get to see all kinds of crazy stuff. Tight lines and fish on!
I am in Florida right now and I had a pecock bass and it came off I was soooo angry and the funny part was it was on hand and line with a pretzel as bait but I guess I am not going to add that on my species list
+Simpsorama50 Wow...pretzel as bait. You are already doing much better than I did. Sigh. I went to the C-14 Canal for a couple hours and the freshwater fishing was brutal... Keep trying -- you will eventually catch one! Tight lines!
+Josh Orth I had two different setups in this video. My main setup was a Shimano Sedona 2500FD with a Saint Croix Avid Pearl, medium light. 15lbs Kastking braided line with a small size #10 hook and a sinker. Tight lines, Josh!
I have heard that some folks take them home to eat. I have never tried one, but I would believe that they are very tasty! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Yes -- according to TSA regulations, you can have up to 3 oz of liquid in a transparent bag, per person. The problem lies in the composition of the Gulp! Attractant Liquid. I don't know exactly what is inside of it; however, I certainly wouldn't risk passing it through the TSA. Lol. Of course this is just my personal preference, Tyler. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
+BRINGMEDOWN TAKEMEUP Heh. The accepted name of the fish on the books is actually *Crevalle Jack* (_Caranx hippos_). But I know that we are talking about the same Species of fish here, Bringmedown. Thanks for watching and following the Channel! Tight lines and fish on!
+Jake Shield I appreciate the request; however, I truly feel more comfortable with the chesty mount. I have been filming with it for quite a while already and I am used to it. :) Thanks for watching, Jake! Tight lines!
+Evan Warwick I ordered Mustad hooks in 3 different sizes -- #6, #8, and #10. So far they have been GREAT. Not a single one broke yet. No rust. Good hooksets. Overall, I am happy with them. Tight lines, Evan!
Sorry for the late reply, TreSkate! Hope you caught a lot of fishes in Fort Lauderdale. In this video, I was fishing one of the intracoastal waterway canals. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
+Alma Thank you very much, Alma! Hopefully we can reach 20.000 subscribers by the end of 2016! Let's hope the channel blooms nicely this year. Tight lines and fish on!

+RedVelvet There we go. The video is already taken down and hopefully the Channel will be down soon as well. I sent the Channel's hyperlink to Fluke Master, Gong Lei, and Sea Money Fishing. Lol. Thanks again for letting me know!
Kman35743 Brazil was great! I am going back there in January, as a matter of fact. I lived there until the end of high school. There will be a few fishing videos from Brazil here. :) Tight lines!
+Peter Carpenter The rule for scissors is that they have to be less than 4 inches from its fulcrum. For pliers, less than 7 inches. Tight lines, Peter!
Pretty much, Patrick Henderlong! For a Multi-Species angler, nothing is more golden than hunting different Species out there (regardless of size). Tight lines and thanks for watching!
+justin molle Because I am mainly a Multi-Species angler and not a trophy hunter. I go with the concept that "bigger lures catch big fish, and smaller lures catch smaller AND bigger fish." Thus, my chances of landing new Species of fish become higher when my baits are smaller.
+justin molle There were a couple giants down there and I did try for them using big pieces of cut bait. In the end, not a single bite! Haha. But if I ever go down again, I will definitely try for bigger fish (once most of the smallest ones are caught). I still need my Snook, Mackerel, Ladyfish, Grouper, etc. Tight lines, Justin!
+Extreme Philly Fishing try doa shrimp on a popper and some saltwater assassin electric chicken and gulp chartreuse grubs always worked for me in ga saltwater
+Archan Noah Apte The official accepted name is Crevalle Jack (_Caranx hippos_) -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crevalle_jack Thus, I use this one. Sometimes people refer to it as black-tailed trevally, as you have mentioned. :) Tight lines, Archan!
+Extreme Philly Fishing Thanks. I was just confuesed abou the colour and the stripes. I have a huge fan and maybe you should come to Thailand where you can catch fish up to 40LB in stocked fishing ponds. The biggest I have caught is around 160LB pounds.
Archan Noah Apte That's awesome, Archan! Definitely want to make a trip to Bangkok in the future and catch all different Species of fish in the Mekong River! Tight lines from Philadelphia!
+Extreme Philly Fishing how do you specifically get to that part of the waterway cause I fish under the 17th Street bridge that's also part of the intercoastal waterway
Twondadon96 The 17th Street bridge that you are referring to is very likely right above the Stranahan River. Very good spot that I wanted to hit last time, but didn't have enough time. This bridge that I hit in this video is located Bayview Drive, a tributary of the Intracoastal Waterway. Tight lines, Twondadon96!
That is definitely a good piece of advice right here. Haha. Even with the drag super loose, I am still super afraid of leaving a rod like that. Thanks for sharing. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I appreciate your suggestion, Dalton Johnson. However, the fish in the video was indeed a Houndfish (_Tylosurus crocodilus_). Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I appreciate the suggestion, jake holmes. However, it turns out that the fish in the video was indeed a Houndfish (_Tylosurus crocodilus_). :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!

I'm pretty sure that that is a 2 oz jar of gulp and your allowed to have liquid, just as long as it's less then 3 oz.
Lol. Of course this is just my personal preference, Tyler. what type of work do you do? Does it involve biology or is this stuff just for fun?
why do you go to fl to use small lures
that canal could have been filled with huge fish
+justin molle Because I am mainly a Multi-Species angler and not a trophy hunter. I go with the concept that "bigger lures catch big fish, and smaller lures catch smaller AND bigger fish." Thus, my chances of landing new Species of fish become higher when my baits are smaller.
+justin molle There were a couple giants down there and I did try for them using big pieces of cut bait. In the end, not a single bite! Haha. Twondadon96 The 17th Street bridge that you are referring to is very likely right above the Stranahan River. Very good spot that I wanted to hit last time, but didn't have enough time.
