a favourite destination for food: Der Wiener Deewan - all you can eat, pay how much you can. Great Pakistani food! very popular with students for both the unbeatable price, and quality of the food :)
I can heartily recommend the Turkish restaurant at 2.00. It is located on Mariahilfer Strasse. Very good food and huge portions at reasonable prices. The Italian Ice-cream parlour next door Bartolottis is also very good. Although prices in Vienna are high they are nothing as high as Dublin, Ireland or touristy areas of London.
I can't wait to go here.
Thank you for your tips!
Great video and tips, Khyati & Puria. Makes me want to live in Vienna again. I’ve mentioned this before on your channel. If you are a music student and do not mind standing for a concert or opera, consider standing room for those events. In 1971, I attended over 50 operas in the Staatsoper and 50 concerts in the Musikverin that year. I didn’t have money as a student. Standing room was 10 Austrian schillings - about $1. Today, I think standing room is about 10 Euros (guessing). Regardless, a great way for young people to see world-class music. As I have also said, Vienna is a beautiful city but there is so much culture inside those beautiful buildings. If in Vienna, see some concerts and museums.
Good morning from Papua New Guinea. I enjoyed watching your contents.

I'm relocating to Vienna this month and your videos are one of the best sources on the matter of living in this beautiful city. Thanks a lot for your work!
As a suggestion, I would like to know your opinion on less-known but still interesting parks and other open-air venues in the city and near by.
How's your stay? I'll be moving there next year for studying
Thanks for all the useful tips.Ill be in vienna first week of september.Hoping to have a good time with your advices.
🙏🏽 Enjoy your trip 👍🏽
This is one of the best cities I have been...And it's expensive.
But using public transport can save you money.
Your Vlogs are "THE BEST' with clear concise information packed with details. You deserve to be Called the "The new Rick Steves of Europe". We will be arriving in Vienna from US on the 13th of Aug leaving on 17th to Salzburg and after visits to Hallstatt headed for 2 weeks to Swiss country. Staying close to Johnstrasse train station and I suppose its good location. Last few days been watching your Vienna vlogs over and over again to get the details memorized. Great Vlogs and no one can deliver the details and quality like you do. I wish you the 100k subs soon and you truly deserve it. Namasthe and Dhanyavaadh.
Appreciate it!
Hello this really nice video
If you really want to save money on your hotel: choose outer districts (mostly doubly digit). You will be in the city centre within 15 minutes and can save a lot of more money. Also I would not call Kebab a local meal as you can get it all over Austria and Germany.
Well put together.. Extensive but still to the Point..
This is so helpful! Thank you x
Thanks for your feedback.
here are two restaurant recommendations by me:
Balkan Grill in one of side streets at Mariahilfer Strasse - awesome pljeskavica with fries :) ... and my current fav - Tandoori Flavor, it is located almost right by Guneschgasse (37 tram stop) in Döbling (you can also easily get there from Spitelau) :) both have decent prices and generous portions... I also tried an Ethiopian restaurant in Währing - great meat and sauce, but the pancake kind of thing served with it wasnt that great O:)
Great input!
I am planning a trip to Vienna from Malta, and this informative information may come in handy. Basically my trips abroad consist of eating and drinking too much 😅. Thank you so much for this.
Glad you enjoyed!
Hello any tips for reliable uber from the airport to the one of the city hotels?
I want to hear the health facilities present in the Austria for different incurable diseases in cheap amount.
Accommodation has really become very expensive. €1000 a month gets you little in terms of space unless you live in a fairly undesirable area like for example on the Gurtel or in the10th. Anything spacious or desirable in the areas 1-6 IS expensive. Not as bad as London or Switzerland but it's on the way....
Fair point.
Vienna is still light years away from London and also not on its way to getting close, even with prices rising. Also unlike London and the like a lot of subsidised flats are being constructed, also in central locations like Nordbahnhof and in the near future Nordwestbahnhof. Those might not be for free either and one needs to apply early on but they are in fact comparably affordable. If you consider the 2nd district undesirable the problem might not be Vienna but your requirements.
Vienna is voted the most liveable city due to low rent prices, as most Viennese live in social housing owned by the city. This means that rent for private housing is also limited as it's competing with rent price standards set by subsidised/social housing
Thank you for sharing. Just wonder do I need to pay tips in Austria?
Tips are appreciated but not mandatory. If you’re happy with the service you normally leave a tip of around 5-10%
@@KhyatiPuria thank you very much

Guys I’ll be visiting vienna in august , any views on mozart hotel to stay in Vienna ?please let me know.
unfortunately we're not familiar with the Mozart Hotel, but we can recommend you to stay outside of the city center. There is a great connection from outer districts.
I stayed in Mozart hotel,it is great.Clean, good food, good location, you can go to the city centr by foot.
Thanks for the video. It's pretty informative and useful. We'll be there in January 2025. My question is Vienna card for one-person? Or can we use it as a family?
Thanks for watching! It’s per person.
Hi! Is there a single ticket that can be used for all kinds of public transport in Vienna apart from the Vienna card? thank you
You have the option to purchase a standard ticket, which includes various choices such as a single trip, daily ticket, or weekly ticket. With any of these options, you'll enjoy unlimited access to all modes of public transportation (bus, tram, metro, and S-Bahn) within the Vienna zone.
Thank you!!
How to save hardcore: take food from home and walk 😂 👍
😂😂
I'd be in Vienna for a day during a Road trip in October.. What all should I see there in a day??
I suggest taking a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/FXBof_puY-I/w-d-xo.html, which provides valuable insights. If you're planning to explore Vienna's attractions and make use of the metro, I recommend purchasing the 24-hour Vienna City Card. It offers cost savings on sightseeing and includes a metro card for convenient transportation. To optimize your experience, consider parking your car in a P+R parking garage and using the metro to visit all the key sights.

Zum nussgart'l is unfortunately closed now due to bankruptcy.
Yeah unfortunately also realized it recently.
Is it a walkable city ?
Yes for sure! Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes!
Can you cover halal food stands , and restaurants ?
Where was that restaurant 0:55 secs ?
That’s Pars Restaurant. Highly recommend 😍
Good infortmation but your monotone makes it sound boring and hard to watch
Thanks for the feedback. Will work on that
Sorry, I didnt come from Dubai to eat biryani.
forget about the fork bullshit... kebab is cheap shit... gasthäuser is local food you cannot get everywhere else. especially in vienna.. give the local food a try.
any place youd recommend for students on a slightly lower than the average budget?
5 euro for a starbucks? no thx
I remember paying 5€ for Starbucks 10years ago. I doubt that they still have same prices 😂
Please tourist stay away from neighbourhoods in Vienna. We want apartments and not the next Airbnb house
Go to the West of Austria 🫣😅✌️💪🇦🇹
