Hi, you forgot the main option I always use from/to the airport: the half-hourly Railjet express trains going non-stop to Hauptbahnhof in 15 Mins and Meidling (and further in Austria and internationally). Tickets are the same as for the regional trains, but they are faster (depending on where in Vienna you are going) and usually much emptier. And they offer all the convenience of long-distance trains. One additional feature for travellers from further away: Railjets carry flight numbers, they can be booked with Rail&Fly like connecting flights.

My husband and I will be in Vienna, Prague, and Budapest in December for 4 weeks for the holidays. First time in all three places and we are super excited!!! We are considering splitting our stay between Airbnb and the hotel. 1) Do you have a neighborhood you recommend for Airbnb? Thers also a zip sliding course located inside on the grounds of the public open air swimming pool area in kaisermühlen... a person calls makes a booking, and someone meets you at the entrance and takes you to the course, that runs under the trees along the river.

Hi Khyati and Puria, your videos were so much helpful to roam in Vienna. Especially the food options suggested. Could you also suggest a reasonable shops to buy souvenirs? Some of the shops are quite an expensive (like world of souvenirs)

We're moving to Vienna in a few weeks. Do you know if parking spots with charging infrastructure are common in Viennese apartment buildings? In Belgium it took 2 years to equip our building with the infrastructure needed. In a building from 2016. 🙃

Lovely video... full of ideas and options... there is a nice restaurant/cafè at the open river called wakeboard Lift, were a person can either enjoy watching or trying wakeboarding...

Speaking of things to do - we will be there next week and I saw that they are having a huge outside concert at Schonbrunn Palace! This comment is to warn others about the restaurant Plachutta Wollzeile (and this is no way to undermine the TH-camrs, experience), I went to this restaurant today. What an awful experience. I didn't even get to try to the food. I'm a solo traveler and was seated and I swear about 15 min went by and no waiter acknowledged me, not even a hello. Then I saw a couple that came in AFTER me and were serviced IMMEDIATELY and the waiter answered any questions they had. I saw waiters service empty tables more - I'm not joking. I went to their Google reviews after and saw an American customer saying they 100% felt it was discrimination. That's what my gut was telling me too, but couldn't be certain. It was either that or I'm a single person so they'll make more money/tips with groups. Either way, that place is vile. I ended up leaving. It was my last day in Vienna too. Just please read the Google reviews on that place, a lot of people felt they were discriminated on, I'd hate for other to feel disappointed when on vacation (or at all).

Crime is increasing quickly, so are living costs. Health care is getting worse(crazy waiting times, appointments can take months), job opportunities worse, more foreigners who speak zero German and aren't even trying to assimilate into Austrian culture. Overall it's getting worse that's why I left, I see the overall trajetory of the cities as CLERALY downhill. It's still a good city to live in, but not as good as it used to be, it's a sinking ship and I probably won't move back. Btw I am a native Austrian but from Upper Austria

Wiener Rindfleischfabrik? Du meinst die Wiener Mausfabrik. Ich habe schon oft gesehen, wie eine Maus oder eine Ratte in den Fleischbrei tropft und es dort zermahlen wird. Sie sollten sie Rattenhunde nennen. Es ist das absolut verrückte Essen. Mach weiter und werde krank, wenn du willst. Das werde ich nicht tun.

absolutely agree with all said... i was there last month and the city is amazing! using of public transport was so easy and fun... yep and water is everywhere... restaurant are expensive, thanks for the website tip, i plan to visit vienna again and again!

On weekends and holidays you still can go shopping at some of the larger gas stations (who also sell food and beverages) or to one of the major railroad stations (like the Westbahnhof). At the lather you will also find a 24/7 supermarkets. The goods are just a bit more expensive.

Only have 3 full days in Vienna, looks like no chance to visit local hangouts places 😢

Ive been to Vienna for over 30 Times and its always interesting about the Food. 8 out of 10 FoodVlogs are always about the same ... Schnitzel, Sachertorte and Würstel and the Cafe Central. Typical Tourist Spots. But you show it .... Vienna has soooo much more to offer. Food from every Culture and THATS whats all about. Amazing Video.

Most tickets will be more like 25€. Because "big bands" in austria are still kind of "small" compared to Coldplay, Rammstein etc, but we love them. If you have the chance to visit a concert, do it :D

I've heard someone claim that vienna has the best falafel west of the levante. Regardless of how true that may be the middle eastern food here is underappreciated. I wouldn't want this market to get gentrified into another tourist trap either though.
