Don't know if this is real or not but I found this on a celeb site: Mr. Cullen said, in an interview in the magazine PLAYBOY in the mid 80s said "She (Cass) was to play the part of the 'intellectual', because she traveled a bit, and the producers gave her a heads up on what guests were coming up when. Like we're going to have a sky diver, for instance. This was so she could looks up things in an encyclopedia to ask on the show, like she was knowledgeable. Still, she missed guessing the right person six times out of ten."
Cass had the most annoying voice in the entertainment industry. Whenever I had the displeasure of hearing that whiny chick speak my hemmoroids would flare up.
Whenever I play along at home, I find Peggy’s questions the most helpful. She is like an audio encyclopedia.
Of all the regulars, Kitty had the highest % of picking the correct person, and Peggy Cass was second.
A great bookend to Kitty's entrances.
Thank you! :-)

That’s Merv Griffin in drag.
Who is this person?

Agnes Gooch former secretary to Mame Dennis Burnside
I wish there was something... maybe some sort of search engine... a device people could use to look up things. Oh, well... some day maybe.
@@akrenwinkle….. perfect!!
Mr GoLaker: …. You are too young to know and thus appreciate Miss Cass.
Omg this loud background music makes this unwatchable. Too bad, I wanted to hear miss Peggy ask all the questions!
Wow you're rude that loud music is the To Tell The Truth theme song & I can still hear the questions
Sorry, but she was too often a total ditz. Perfect foil for Orson Bean's razor-sharp wit, however. 😂🤣😂
