This is when everyone realized why it was called shibuya incident, the good guys don’t always win in jjk, this wasn’t your average shonen arc, this was a war, where yuji learned how truly unfair the world of jujutsu and curses really is after on being part of it for a short time
the good guys never win in jjk. thats the whole point of being a sorcerer, you need to be ruthless, selfish and driven by growing yourself. The whole society of sorcerers is centred around protecting the weak and thats always their demise.

If this is your typical shounen plot, Yuuji will somehow able to defeat Kenjaku after obtaining some sort of power up or upgrade to his curse power and he befriend Sukuna, Nobara and Nanami somehow got revived and the Jujutsu Sorcerers are able to save Shibuya through the power of bonds and friendships. Instead, none of that happen.

I know this is a Cover, so as long as it vaguely resembles it the piece it's ok. My biggest problem is that this cover is too short and thous leaves out the most interesting parts of this piece, specifically the part the melody at 2:59 hints at. Without the latter parts of the piece, the music completely looses its edge.
I have more problems like: I think the arpeggio at 2:15 is too different, too long, and harmonically much less interesting, but these are probably just minor unpleasantries compared to the main one.
Its up there with Choso vs Yuji's theme, Todo and Yuki's theme, and Nobara & Yuji vs the brudars.
This ep was tearing me apart the music really depicts the downfall of the sorcerers.

Then again, I'm in the minority who thinks Shibuya as it was was a huge writing mistake and should have been delayed by a couple of mini-arcs. The carnage had far less emotional weight than it should have.
