    As always a precious video, viewing this video I finally realise how we can optimize to pick certain custom blocks or random filters using a variable true or false, and this is very powerfull. Thanks Ali.

    Cheers Ali, another good one. I’ll give this a spin in SQX. The “RSI 2” block seems to be a very robust block. I’ve mined a few builds with that as the basis since your recent video and the number of additional market tests the strategies usually pass is noticeably high.

      I think the persistence above/below level filter out false positives

    Hi. Can you please confirm in which video you created the "Consecutive RSI Up" signal? Thanks.

      Interesting question, I know I did a video about it , but when I searched the channel I couldn't find it exactly. try these:
      th-cam.com/video/QmM9z_Hfmk0/w-d-xo.html
      th-cam.com/video/nYx2X6IKocY/w-d-xo.html
      th-cam.com/video/gQwKZ2UGkCQ/w-d-xo.html
      I will do a new video dedicated to it soon.

    Sounds like a strategy good for bitcoin or penny stocks/low market cap stocks.

    • @StatOasis
      @StatOasis  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      concepts apply everywhere, although penny stocks and bitcoin comes with high volatility

    as far as i know Larry is using a USD2200 stopp loss for futures

      Could be, but those numbers need to be updates every 4 years roughly to account for price increase, volatility or both

    Hi Ali, how can we get the symbol @ES_TS_830_15 you use? And it is possible to trade it? On my tests SPY and ES I receive worst results unfortunately... thx!

    • @StatOasis
      @StatOasis  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can make your own session and trade it and TradeStation or Multicharts
      And you can export that session to SQX

      @@StatOasisI exported data from TS with a limited session, did a backtest in SQX. Looks great Ret / DD 11+ Wow!
      However, when I try to set a strategy in Tradestation, problems start. I cannot use custom session on ES daily candles (can only be used on a lower intervals). And the strategy is programmed for daily candles and shouldn't work at all beyond the session we set. How do you get around this practically?

    • @StatOasis
      @StatOasis  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      say you want to create a 4 hour session but trade it as one daily bar, so in TS you create a session that starts say 10am and ends at 2pm, then in number of minutes you put 480, then each bar will be one day which consist of 4 hours only, if you import that into sqx it will be treated as one daily bar
