This was the only aircraft I was terrified to ride in. Huey's, Blackhawks no problem but the Chinook I was scared shitless. They crash a lot. As always salute from a soldier.
Oh wow, I didn't realise they were that susceptible to crashes. I know you need to make sure the synchronization is kept right otherwise you have rotor blades smashing into each other which is never good. The good old trusty Huey they will fly for ever wont they!! That would have been an experience for sure. Its one of my life's biggest regrets. I actually joined the Army when I was 18. Every since I was a child I wanted to be a soldier, in my primary school grade 6 it asked what I wanted to be as a grown up, I said soldier and that was aged 12. At 18 I applied, did the testing and physical and was accepted, they recommend me into the armoured section or as infantry as a heavy MG operator. Then the girl I was with convinced me otherwise. I still regret that choice in my life to this day and it makes me sad and mad I never followed my heart and joined the Army. The comradery and life benefits I have missed out on haunts me. Although I did get to work in a warzone for the government in a Civilian capacity during the East Timor crisis in 2000/01 for 3 months. Anyway enough of me feeling sorry for my stupid life decisions. Its why I really appreciate you watching my videos and giving me the feedback and also of your own experience. Those that serve their country deserve a whole lot of respect. Thank you again for watching. I guess I could say a salute back from almost a soldier 😞
Try maybe eBay, I buy a lot off there. Forces of Valor shouldn't be too hard to find. Good luck with your search, hope you find one for yourself and thanks for watching!!
Yes it a nice looking model. I just got the RAF camouflage version which I will review in the future. Thanks for taking the time to check out the video and comment 😀👍🇦🇺
