My house is about a mile north of E. Granada Blvd. on the beach side. I have ridden the Ormond Loop many times on my bicycle, and it is a 23 mile ride. By the time I get to the Granada bridge, I have gone about 22 miles, and too tired to ride the bike up the bridge. LOL Thanks for doing this video!!

another one i just now saw, gorgeous drive ! That canopy of live oaks and Spanish moss is what i remember most about FL especially in the south. You two always do a great job and brighten my day with an upload. THX !! Bob & Sue...
Highbridge is my neighborhood, and just a minute from the Flagler RC club too. You should stop by some time when your out riding. In the video you seemed perplexed as to why people are in a hurry in such a beautiful place. So since I live there, I'll tell you why I think someone might not want to stop or go slow to enjoy the scenery. It's probably because it's the place we "HAVE" to drive past every single day just to get where we are trying to go. There isn't any other way to get to work, or the store, or almost anywhere. So it's more of an average, every day thing to us than it is "scenic". In-fact, it's quite the annoying and smelly place when it's all flooded. But I suppose there are worse places to live, right? Anyway, point is. I imagine someone who lives surrounded by a garden of roses (or a swamp). Probably doesn't stop very often to smell them. Human nature, I suppose. Anyway, like I said. If your up that way early some time. Swing by the club and say hi.
I get to drive this way whenever I come home at the end of every day. As well as down Beach Street to Old Dixie Highway. The canopies of trees really are beautiful. But definitely during hurricanes and thunderstorms it's a downside

Thanks. Check out Andy Romano Beachfront Park. It is right on the beach and has a parking lot. I would plan to get there early because the lot probably fills up fast.

Took the Loop Ride one week ago from today . Amazing ride . I came in off I 95 . Last Friday I was involved in a serious accident at rush hour traffic in Daytona. The car that was ahead of me slammed on its brakes because of the vehicle in front of her . Road was a wet . I locked up my front and rear brakes and my bike kicked out from under me . I have broken ribs and fractured ribs and I had a major concussion but I am alive because of my DOT Helmet. Yes Helmets save lives . I love the Loop Ride and Daytona Beach . I am back in Maryland and the weather is cool and I already miss the weather in Florida. Thanks for making this video. It’s very detailed.

That is one of our favorite drives. We always take visitors for a drive there to show them the beautiful area. Lucky you to have that view every day.
