Did you mean flavor..lol and also Port would be to over powering to the mushrooms. But a nice rich Cabernet Sauvignon would be better

Making this now, and it's delish! Didn't have parmesan, so used mozzarella. Letting simmer so it thickens up a bit. Then on to egg noodles!👏🏻👍🏼😘

Good shit. I used to make the same but - oregano and + 1 full spoon of white flour, it gets very thick, good to smear over a piece of roasted bread.
