I had the same one a few years ago. I gave up on trying to restore it because tape player was playing at the wrong speed, and the motor is non adjustable. I tried other motors in my collection but none of them were fast enough.
Sharp GF 8585 Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder. I am not an electronic technician but an audio fan. I watched your video and noticed that the power of the speakers as indicated on the woofers is 5.0 Watts. So, is the power output of this model 5 Watts RMS per channel at 8 ohms? Also does this model have only one single power output meter instead of the normal two VU meters? Thanks for a reply!
