Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 has even worse roads. Potholes all the time when you're on the road. Trust me. It's torture slowing down and swerving a bit just to avoid a pothole.
This video is so necessary bc no one ever really walks you through the process in this way locally. Makes you really assess if you can handle owning a car rn.
This video brings up an important point of the Opportunity cost. What would be the rate of return if you invested that deposit in the stock market over the 5 years?
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to bro for such an informative and in-depth video. This is my reference video above all else. Extremely helpful!
Nice as usual 👌. For some, the vehicle may help bring in some extra $$$. Being able to stay an extra 2 hour at work cause now you can reach home safe. Traveling with extra tools to complete a job efficiently.
Thanks for the video, actually in the process of getting my license. Knew it was gonna more expensive but this is a big liability than anticipated. Buying a car is like signing up to 10 different yearly high-ticket subscriptions. Probably smarter to just continue buying bitcoin. Been working another high-income skill to pay for it though, just gonna wait a bit until that's solid.
My experience... in addition, a new battery, if it's a used car(15-20k) and a car emergency fund for minor incidents/accidents and electronics that might fail (especially sensors, I would suggest having a 30k stashed away for that)
If Jamaica minimum wage is $15,000 weekly, let’s say a $25,000 would be a ok job in Jamaica. That Honda Fit cost only $500,000 JMD in USA. Why it soo expensive in Jamaica, 2 million JMD is far too expensive.
Unfortunately minimum wage is a poor indicator of livable income. Cost of living is the real indicator, in some areas rent can be $150,000/month and that doesn’t include utilities. Sadly minimum wage is hard to make ends meet here.
@@DemetressFairman I see Land for sale in Montego Bay JMD 1.7 million. Hiring a contractor I would pay JMD 2.5 million to build a 3 bedroom house. The house would be worth JMD 8 million with a realtor. Those numbers are facts
I drive a left hand and it rarely hinders me. Finding parts is just as easy and the only downside is overtaking because I have to be 100% sure of an overtake.
Not familiar with them but I think they are the same as the Honda city and Hondas generally are good. Just make sure the mechanic knows about hybrid cars
"Even though we know in Jamaica the roads aren't worthy of our vehicles" 😂😂😂 that line killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Smh 😂 you know I’m telling the truth

Guys, save your money. Get a cheap, reliable car. Avoid the debt as much as possible

What are your thoughts on driving left hand drive vehicles in Jamaica?
I drive a left hand and it rarely hinders me. Finding parts is just as easy and the only downside is overtaking because I have to be 100% sure of an overtake.
For Jamican roads japnese cars are best
