If hand checking was legal and you were able to be a lot more physical, a lot these players would not get the green light to shot as much. NBA changed the rules to allow more offense, then change to rule again for more internal rules to allow other countries to shine, to bring in more money. If the game was more slower paced as the rules allowed to be back then, you would see more blowouts America. But the game changed.
