I have a older model but it just stoped charging a Few days ago.
for everyone whose laptops not charging simply remove the battery from the laptop then charge it so you can turn on the device..then see if the laptops turning on and if it does remove the charging put the battery back and try turning it on even after that if it doesn't charge uninstall drivers and restart it..this is work for sure, I did it on my Lenovo S340 by myself with my brother.

Just use some kind of conductive material and touch the negative and positive pins of the battery holder for a few seconds.

What exactly was the fix? Shorting out the BIOS battery terminals? IDK how that is supposed to fix a completely dead Laptop. I would have expected one of the voltages to be gone i.e. 3.3V, 5V

Damn you Acer!! Same story here. The machines are built cheap and so, ya, stuff breaks or is weak. I found my fix was a new DC Jack!!! $9.00 part.

I don't know what's happenin with it....its sometimes turn on by its own...sometimes it turns on but blackscreen...sometimes its doesn't even start just acts likes its completely dead but randomly someday it starts up and works properly fine...and sometimes its doesn't...i have tried all troubleshooting steps in your video's like removing the CMOS battery for hours , checking the charger , battery , power socket. I have tried troubleshooting other components like ram, SSD, Wifi chip....etc. But no success...can u help??

That is probably an error code, indicating an issue. Count how many times it blinks and look up that on acer's webpage.

I was using my E5-576G and was charging my phone via the usb. When I plugged in the power adapter the laptop died and stopped working after that.

My acer V5-573 laptop doesn't turn on without the help of charger, even if battery is full. I have to connect the charger for a few seconds and remove, then press power multiple times whilst the orange light flashes each time, until eventually the blue light comes on and the laptop turn on. If when pressing power the orange light doesn't flash, i have to connect the charger again for a few seconds and try again

Look at where the charging port is Connected to the motherboard, look for broken solder. If it looks good take a multi meter to the battery and check for resistance, if no resistance then it probably is the mobo

There is a chance that yours opens from the keyboard, remove all the screws from the bottom and try prying up the keyboard from the corner with a plastic pick or something similar.

did you remove first the laptop battery upon opening? or is it there all the time?
The main battery was removed before opening the laptop. The CMOS/BIOS battery was removed upon opening.

That could be many things. You should open the laptop and check how is it inside.
