Thanks for another great, well-paced tutorial on Davinci Resolve Fusion. Following your steps produces the required results ... next step is to try to get a better understanding for what's going on but that's another day's work :)

Total newbie to Fusion and Resolve 16, but these tutorials have enabled me to make two title sequences and pick up what looked like a complicated process. Sometimes you have to be quick on the pause, and for those with only one monitor there needs to be a longer pause so you can follow the instructions, but other than that excellent tutorials

TH-cam Recommended. And am I glad it did.
Five minutes in and I subscribed immediately. Expertly executed. Tidy. Nicely paced. Kept my attention to the end - was it really 16 minutes long? It didn't feel like it.
So inspiring and now I'm looking forward to more and catching up on the rest.
A very well done and thank you, Vikash.

Brilliant, just started using Da Vinci Revolve and love what you do with text. Will have to have a play around with Fusion at some point. All those Nodes do look somewhat intimidating at first, but it's a case of trial and error along with repeating over and over. You make it look so easy - what a great effect =)

Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing how to do this. One tip I have is make sure to tell people following along to double click off of the nodes to "get off" of them. I made multiple mistakes and was accidentally changing values. I figured out what I was doing. Thank you so much.

New to this whole Davinci Resolve thing. This video had a lot of information in it. Any chance you could make a simplified video only dealing with one video in the title maybe showing what each node is changing in the video?

I am new to learning this. At times although i follow the steps sincerely, i feel the outputs disappear from the viewer. For eg in this video you used 2 rect sets over a paint tool and then transformed. So once I merge them I don't see both. At a time I can see only one set. Can you try to let me know what can be wrong. Inspite of dragging the nodes to the viewer it seems that I loose one set.

Thanks for a simple to follow tutorial! I do have a more "advanced" question. Fusion can use "MediaIn1" as the current clip in the the timeline. My thought here is that I'd like to create a version like this, but have it so I can put it over any video clip.
I created a DEMO of what I'm trying to do, hoping you (or another reader) has some thoughts on this.
In the video clip I made, I'm assigning a single video clip to each letter.
Then I'm expanding the middle letter ("S") to fill the picture and lead the viewer into that clip. While this works, I would have to change this each time I want to make a new video if I choose to use something like this for an intro.
My hope is that I could keep the first and third letter/video the same, but make the middle letter video dynamic - so that whatever I put the fusion block over (make a macro, etc) it will populate the current video clip of my choosing.
Does this make sense? Hope I explained it correctly.

I am not a young person and fairly new to editing and new to Davinci Resolve 16 (Free). I must say that that was a superb presentation, no rushing, no fast moving cursor, everything under control and easy to follow. After you have made such a title then, I assume that after it is rendered, you could just add into your media files to use in future videos - I'm thinking of a channel video title?

If u opt to place a single photo/video without using fusion, u can just place video on top of text, and select the composite mode of video as "darken"...
I have a question, can the black background replaced by other colour or photos?

Some Video Editor could make a Fortune With an add on to DaVinci where when you hover over an icon or menu item it shows it name (some times) but pressing the F1 key it would jump to this add on where it explains What it is how it works and maybe a short video how it is used. That would be more valuable to beginners and old gezzers alike than all the separate Tutorials you know you have seen but can never find when you need them.
So which one of you experts wants to be rich?
