And some people still says these kind of jars are expensive.. like can’t you see how each piece is detailed, designed, and handled with the most delicate care? You’re paying for the artistry and uniqueness of each piece.

@ why should he? Maybe he has fun doing it. Why should he stop doing it, just because there are wiser ways to use the time? I mean, why do you watch TH-cam? You could also use your time in a wiser way.
@ you just accidentally proved that it's even more precious. People love exclusivity. Since this is made by hand, it would be unique and imperfect. Why do you think people pray thousabds of dollars for a designer bag? It's the exclusivity.
What a beautiful jar! I love the two cameras as well. I found myself going back-and-forth between them as I was watching so very helpful to see the different angles. Thank you so much for sharing!
At my school, we never got to do any of this. They just said, here are some old egg boxes and empty toilet rolls, try and make something out of those ;)
The jar was beautiful at any moment and yet he kept going adding more decorations. The final product was gorgeous as the jar in the beginning with a few decorations! I was amazed, how the radius of the jar, made by hands matches the template, so he was able to divide it into equal sections!
I really enjoy that he actually explains what he’s doing so you can actually learn and not just be mindlessly entertained while retaining nothing useful. I helped my mother back in the late 60s to early 70s on slip moldes of all different kinds of things from mugs to chess pieces to cookie jars hundreds of different molds. I've always found relaxing and satisfying fun in working with her. I'm about to retire and my mother passed away, but I still have the memories doing them watching you throwing on your site makes me wanting to get back in to this. thank you
Beautiful work. I learned a lot from your descriptive explanations. You edit your videos so well too, which makes them even more enjoyable. Thank you for sharing this.
You are truly a master. Stunning to watch you, sir. And I’m always amazed at how clean you stay! I end up with more clay in my hair!! The jar is exquisite.
You are so good and the way you throw is relaxing and precise :) love to watch your videos. I'm a Potter myself and I hope to be as good as you one day.
🥺I want one, so beautiful. Your artistry blows me away, your so amazing it seems too simplistic but anyone who’s ever tried will understand, only looks easy because of the years of dedicated work, that makes it look easy.
This artisans they are just crazy AMAZING. I'm running not to miss anything yet I'm doing chores and watching.im even gasping with admiration. Thank you.
It is so beautiful that I just shook my head in awe!! What a great video! I was in love with it, even before you put the 'lightening' lines!! Just fantastic 😍! Thank you 😍🤗❤️.
That lidded jar is beautiful. I wonder if mine will come out that nice. Final trim, slip application and chatter/sgraffito this week. One can only hope. :)
Hello Master, it's an honor and a big pleasure to see you working. Thanks for share your knowledge, it's priceless!!!! P. D. Somebody knows the name of the circle with those lines?
I love your work and your videos, but can you tell me why you use black slip instead of underglaze or mason stains? Is it just more cost effective? Thanks for recipe too
good morning. Thank you for sharing as always. Your workmanship is exceptional! Please share what the material is between your bat and wheel head. It looks like a thin peace of rubber aimed at keeping the bat from moving.
It’s called “absorber”. You can get it from retail store such as Amazon or Walmart. It came as a sheet 14”x17”. You can trim it smaller to fit your bat.

Same!
I love the optical illusion that shows impossible movements.

I was never good at pottery in school, but I always enjoy watching professionals. Anyone that makes things by hand are THE true artists. Bravo !

Extremely relaxing to watch. I struggle with lidded vessels, specifically with lids. I enjoy watching other people who know how to do it.

Beautiful and inspiring.
Great!!! very Impressive! I have a question. The recipe provided for the black slip is good also at low temperature?
I think it will be fine but never try it. As always when you got a recipe do your own test first.
how do you make black slip? love your videos

Slip is similar to clay and it bind the body much better than applying underglazes or stain on green ware.
