One of the most common mistakes for HIPAA is when staff make no attempt to cover or otherwise hide computer screens from public view. They also forget "public" also includes Bill, the soda vendor that has open access to non-public areas. A good practice to see not only the violations but how staff will often blame the public for the violation, is to watch any number of 1st Amendment Audits on TH-cam.

My ex therapist commented on my negative review of her. She responded and disclosed my insurance plan and went into detail my particular policy. Then she mentioned she only terminates with clients whose needs are better treated by a different provider. I never mentioned in my review that she had terminated with me when it fact she did. She revealed that on her own without my permission. She also refused to tell me what she charges per hour and says I need to check with my insurance because they tell her what she's allowed to charge. I got the bill and she charges double what other area counselors charge. Put it this way, I made a complaint to the board.

Can I ask you a question if it is a type of violation of HIPPA? My friend is a nurse aide , she took a resident's picture and sent it to her staff by text message , but the resident has passed away, it is a type of HIPPA violation?

Sharing a patient's protected health information (PHI) without authorization is indeed a violation of HIPAA regulations. In this scenario, sharing a picture of a deceased resident without their consent constitutes a breach of HIPAA, as it involves disclosing PHI to individuals who are not directly involved in the patient's care and without a legitimate reason for doing so.

So Lets Say a TH-camr Lost His/Her Monetization Due to a 6 Month Recovery From a Surgery, That the TH-camr didn't put in a Video On TH-cam, On Grounds of HIPPA. Does That TH-camr have Grounds to Sue TH-cam for Demonetizing a TH-camr in Recovery.
