this is a great series, ideal for a football and culture loving fan. san Sebastian is probably my favourite place to watch a game, since this film has been made the Anoeta has had a superb make over with the athletic track removed and more seating put in so you are really near to the action. the old town either side of matchday is a fantastic experience, i would recommend a derby match between la real and Bilbao or better still osasuna. you'll find the locals will look after you as they are the most welcoming people ive ever met. i always stay in a pension and la koxka is the best one you'll ever come across, right in the heart of the old town, reasonably priced and the owner along with his pals are real fans. the cheesecake at la vina is fantastic but for a true Basque night out you have to visit a cider house.
