Hey man, really appreciate your Videos! Could you make a Video about Privacy and Bittensor? How can Miners keep Data private (on Servers in certain countries). This is required by regulation and a big deal for corporate acceptance of Bittensor. Also I would like to know this: When the best Miners are rewarded for their work, they still need to split their reward, but all did the work. Won't this be less efficient then if the Miner offered his services outside of Bittensor? I'm new to Bittensor and these are my biggest concerns. Would love if you could cover these.
@@thelibertytrade The old storage subnet used to have users encrypt their data before sending it to be stored on the subnet. It was de-registered as a non-performant subnet. A new storage subnet is in the works, I'd imagine it'll do the same. You're right, miners split their reward based on how performant they are. To compare with traditional business is a little difficult. You're also right that some miners may find it less efficient to mine on bittensor than to do their own thing outside of bittensor. That's fine, it's a market after all. As a customer though, I'd prefer to purchase services via bittensor because I know I'll be getting good service thanks to the competition within the network. I have a video coming out in a couple weeks that tries to compare traditional business with bittensor.
great video once again, it really helps me understand the underlying mechanisms of what i hodl. Keeps me level headed and sane. Also, a more detailed video on only dtao would be very interesting thanks!
Hey, thanks for watching! What topic should I cover next?
