2017年にリリースしたデビュー曲「太陽もひとりぼっち」の新ミュージックビデオをバンドの由来の地でもある京都の古刹で撮影。
撮影をおこなった妙心寺 天球院、東福寺 光明院でロックバンドがミュージックビデオの撮影したのは史上初めてとなる。
妙心寺 天球院は、京狩野の名手、狩野山楽・山雪によって描かれた絢爛豪華な障壁画や杉戸絵が有名で、本堂、障壁画は、いずれも国の重要文化財に指定されている。
東福寺 光明院は、東福寺の方丈庭園と同時期に作庭した「波心庭」は、昭和の庭造りの名人・重森三玲による枯山水庭園が有名。
The new music video for their debut single "Taiyo mo Hitoribocchi", released in 2017, was filmed at the ancient temples of Kyoto, where the band originated.
This is the first time in history that a rock band has filmed a music video at Myoshinji Temple’s Tenkyuin and Tofukuji Temple‘s Komyoin.
Myoshinji Temple's Tenkyuin is famous for its gorgeous partition paintings and cedar door paintings by Kano Sanraku and Sanseki, master painters of Kyo Kano style (Kyoto branch of the Kano School, also called "Kyo-gano",
a school of painters who created many prominent works) and the main hall and partition paintings are both designated as National Important Cultural Properties.
Komyouin of Tofukuji Temple is famous for its Karesansui (dry landscape) garden created by Mirei Shigemori, a master gardener of the Showa period (1926-1989), who created the “Namishintei” garden at the same time as the Hojo garden of Tofukuji Temple.

The band is based in the Kansai area, but has been expanding their activities.

I know most of us who live outside Japan got this as an ad but this song is actually an opening of Dive!! anime back in 2017. For those who can't read Japanese syllabary, the title of this song is "Taiyou mo Hitoribocchi".

通常は撮影禁止の狩野山楽、山雪の障壁画「梅に遊禽図」や「竹虎図」の前で、障壁画に負けないくらい、堂々と歌唱する勇樹氏の四年間足跡を思い浮かべると感無量です。
光明院の波心の庭を背にして勇樹氏が柱にもたれている場所、はんなりっこ達も柱に、もたれるんでしょうね。
前のMVでは、オープニングに太陽が建物から見えてきましたが、今回のMVでは、エンディングに太陽が屋根から見えてきました。前回からの繋がりがあるのかな？
光の使い方や、フォーカスなどとても美しい映像で好きです。
今回のPVも前のPVを撮られた須永秀明監督が撮られたのかな？
