all i can say is thank you for the merciful death. i hate watching cooking channels where they'll cook crab,lobster etc and they boil them alive. just do it quickly and as painlessly as possible

Very mouthwatering, I love seafood so much so if I have the time and the ingredients available I'll definitely make this! It's kind of hard to find fresh octopus in Indonesia so I'll probably replace it with large sized squid.

If i will put crab into a freezer (so he will freeze to death) instead of stabbing him, is it gonna make a difference in the flavor?
Ya. It'll toughen up the meat. But you don't have to freeze it. You just need it cold enough so it kills it's senses.

@@ChefMar I tried making it and I just hid the curry or whatever you want with the rice inside and then shape the rice outside like a cat, although mine didn't hold up so well since I was using leftover rice (still worked though)

Cherry tomatoes are for salad. Roma if you want good soup. The one I used are good for burgers.
@@ChefMarhere in Italy cherry tomatoes are used for soup/tomato sauce for pasta and the ones you used for the soup are used for salad and burgers. Sometimes we also use cherry tomatoes in the salad (caprese salad for exemple) but is a rarity. It's fascinating to see how the cuisine changes from region to region
