How to fix gear lever slipping problem in any motorcycle | gear lever changing ( pulsar 150)

In this video you will learn how to fix gear lever slipping problem in any motorcycle. If the gear lever is slipping while you try to shift the gear and the gear also not able to shift then first you need to open the gear lever by open the bolt that holds it on the gear shaft .
Once you remove the gear lever , first check the teeth's inside the gear lever if they are in good shape or not . Then check the teeth's on the gear shaft for the same as if they are in good shape or not. If the teeth's on the gear lever are wear off then its easy to replace it , but if the teeth's on the gear shaft are wear off then you need to open the clutch cover.
If the slipping problem is due to gear lever then brought a new gear lever according to your motorcycle and simply replace it.

Gear shifting from 3 to 4th automatically,showerd to mechanic and thy saying gear pblm in engine and might cost 10 k..is it true that it vl cost this much?

well not sure about the labor charges in your area , but the whole engine needs to be dismantal just to change the 3rd or 4th gear and they cost around 300/350 rs each , but in process whole gaskets will replaced and other things too and when the whole engine is open they will check the crank and connecting rod , piston , bearings etc which might need replacement too , so if there is nothing else to change except those 2 gears with labor it should cost around 5 to 6 k , so the mechanic have told you the correct amount as there will be more parts which will replaced along the way
