Of course I shouldn't buy a Toyota Rav4... It's not an off-roader, but a gravel road car. The Freelander 2 is by far the better car. And if you look aside from all the stupid comments and videos made by young people who haven't even had their driving license for 5 years, and who haven't driven off-road nor climbed mountains and what not, because they are... young and haven't done that yet, they are not that terrible, to be honest. Yes, something electrical breaks down, but so does any other brand as well. Just take a look at the forums where many people ask how to repair this and that. I am looking seriously at a Toyota 4Runner 1990 with a problematic 3,0 V6 petrol engine. It's a lame engine, and it's a semi-problematic engine, but with exra lockers and a suspension lift, it's a great car. This and anything else can be made well, and no worries then. Like anything else in fact. Don't be so scared. Anything mechanical can or will break down, and then you repair it. Not fix it, but repair it. And to be honest, so many cars, including 4x4's have been through the hands of negligent previous owners, hence the saying "dpo". Get over it, and drive it off-road. It's not a mall-crawler. Kind regards.
I appreciate your points. I am very familiar with Land Rover products and have driven and experienced their issues extensively. However the majority of this video is not to be taken seriously you understand
Brilliant review mate, had me laughing all the way through. It’s currently up for sale so if you want to make me an offer then please do as I know you loved the car really
Don’t get me started on the original Freelander. Not since we had one blow up when it was less than 5 years old with at most just 20,000 miles since I never knew it to leave Leicester. Funnily enough it blew up on the exact same road my Fiesta blew up on the second time last September. I’m not big on Land Rover. I used to work at a garage that specialised in them and my team were all arseholes, especially the Mr Can’t-Do-No-Wrong kid.
Don't know yer arse from a hole in the ground, I had a Freelander 1 without issues for years, now got a Freelander 2 without issues. Its like any car, keep them maintained properly and you will have years of motoring. Stop jumping on the cliched bandwagon of slagging off something you know nothing about
Mate, that was a good watch. I was cracking up througout the video - I love your cheeky honesty. Nice! 😂
Thanks mate appreciate it😁

I work in the motor trade and find JLR increasingly difficult people to deal with. They do anything to wriggle out of fixing their own cars
Hilarious - nice one.😂
Wheely bin dashboard 😂

@@carl48uk I worked for Jaguar Land Rover in the factory for 3 years. Some cars never had issues. Lots of cars did.
