The Vacuum imploder is great for Destroying any type of Unit Proton Collider has more damage towards Buildings Psionic decimator leaves most of it's targets with a 10 - 20% health
My favorite is the vacuum imploder - there is something very satisfying about the way the debris falls after the end of its full effect... which looks pretty cool too, like a ball of pure annihilation.
Tips for proton colider: More buildings means more damage. If a base is super dense, a deployed MCV gets much more damage then normally, possibly destroying it in 1 hit. Despite whats in the video, proton colider IS SUPER OP when used with nano-swarm hive. The chance is about 80%, otherwise nothing will happen (just like in the video.). First aim the proton colider, then the nano-swarm hive (as in the video) and watch the fireworks. You can erase whole bases with it.
no if u deploy hive AFTER first shot of proton colider but BEFORE it ends, the super op effect is 100%. And if u deploy hive before proton colider lands in target, it just cancells the proton clider (just like in the video).
@@Maseeha171 Yes, but you can use an engineer to capture any faction specific building. This means that if you are playing for the Allies, you can capture the hive.

Rating by scare factor: Proton collider mostly meh leaves the victim praying Vacuum imploder good for that slow depressing stare as your base slowly melts away Psi “Ooooh shiiiiiii-“
So. Proton collider is the highest damage dealer but its damage is spreaded by 5 projectiles that cover a smaller area (per projectile), but swipe a wide area. Can't damage air units. Vaccum imploder has the smallest area of the three, but can easily destroy aerial units (even their mighty Kirov). The Empire weapon (psychic cannon? Sorry can't remember the name) causes heavy damage on the center, but on the outher rings it is halved (kirovs got damaged so i reckon airborne units are hit by the outer area of the explosion). Also, can penetrate their own nano-shield
The way the proton collider works is that its damage is based off the amount of objects that are actually in its AoE. when it fires, the more objects in the vicinity, the more damage it did. At base damage, it can deal roughly half of a construction yard's health as damage, but with other units nearby, it can go up to taking 75% health off There is a rare occurrence with the nanoswarm hive that if its activated right after the first bolt lands, the damage scales up to pretty much destroying any building or ground unit in a single barrage, even construction yards and other super weapons
Agreed, Proton do good vs building or one point concentrated unit Psychic only good cuz of spread damage and able to hit air Vacuum deadly against unit, anything that sucked is considered dead, MCV as unit, in full health once sucked then its finish
@HEARTLESS ANGEL 666 the reason as to why I said it was rare is because you need both a nanoswarm hive and a proton collider on the same team to use it , since the opposing team isn't willingly going to give you a one hit combo I suppose in multiplayer, 2 or 3 team matches could co-ordinate a strike
One is a nuclear vacuum missile, One is a 6 barrel gun but only shoot 5, and another one is a flower that shoots mindbending force. The use of the ultimate weapon is to lower the base's health so its easier to destroy, or to eliminate certain type of enemy in a massive amount
The Proton Collider effect continues to spread so long as units (or even wall sections) are radiating away from the target point: th-cam.com/video/ZAwG6WtJke4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Rqmnib6_vTQ/w-d-xo.html Also, the Proton Collider hits harder as it hits more units, including the billions of nanites from an activated Nanoswarm: th-cam.com/video/QQMI9pysAbc/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/QQMI9pysAbc/w-d-xo.html Against AIs, you can place the Nanoswarm on top of any enemy superweapon to prevent it from firing on your base (and it will go on cooldown if the AI tries to launch the superweapon while under the Nanoswarm, which it does unless it can't scout your army or base). Infiltrating a superweapon with a Spy or Shinobi resets the cooldown on that superweapon to maximum.
Actually when proton collider hits a nano swarm shield it'll become a huge glowing ball of death :P So try again, activate the shield when the shots are already fired.
The Proton Collider in theory is the highest damaging superweapon among the 3 of them: the more units are present in the superweapon's area, the higher the damage, meaning it could level everything, Construction Yard/other superweapons included. It cannot damage air units, though and by default, it is the weakest in terms of raw damage against the Vacuum Imploder and the Psionic Decimator. Also, the Proton Collider is the only superweapon that can "pierce" the protective shield of the Nanoswarm Hive and, considering the shield is made from millions of nano-machines aka units... the entire base will be completely destroyed.
i tried with playing modded ra3 and technically the vacuum imploder could 1 shot every unit if they get suck into it but proton colider is better at building
Think you missed the biggest point with the proton collider, buildings are unfortunately alwys spaced out in ladder so it will never happen but if the base is filled with WALLS, it helps a lot, it can wipe out a whole map worth of structures/walls just like the Mothership in C&C 3.
