The huina is a ok truck, for starters, or ....most of us, "bugeteers" I have my eyes on a add with a set of huina equipment, excavator, front loader and this truck, all of these are full metal version for 300 pounds converted from my curremcy. All is good, minus this truck . As ive seen, it has loads of mobility issues....and this solution seems the best so far and detailed ! Looking forward to see the finished truck and the solutions that you use. Thank you!
I agree mate, the only issue I see with using the all metal one like this could be the weight even with this modded chassis. I kind of think the cheap plastic one would be a better donor or at least using the plastic rear tipper bed. Will have to see, my main issue now is the gap between the bed and the cab due to how I have the tipper actuator from the base kit. I was thinking the crane arm would look good there maybe. Its kind of taken a back seat since I got hold of the A60H Volvo which is far superior in every way, but I still need to get it done since I'm so far in now.
I'd imagine you have the truck done. But I have a Double E Arocs and it's that same truck as the huina just uses a linear actuator for the tipper. Order a linear actuator to tip the box.
Its still in a corner mate, I think you are right, will just have to get an actuator although it tips now tbf, just needs a fake palfinger adding. Ah who knows?? lol will see, thanks for the tip mate
@@Pezzapoo i was thinking just a double thin syringe into single sriynge setup would fit inside the space if ran them horizontalinside chassis rails even driven by one of those screw servos likethe ones on upgrade excavator arm is surprising the force can exert with the double to single setup, and nice and compact

How did you get the dump motor to fit in chassis?? Wanting to do this to my model
I couldn't fit it and I abandoned the project as it was not going to be worth it.

Does the lift mech have to stay electric?
Yes mate, no room or money for hydraulics. Sorted it now tbf that’s why there’s a gap, moved the wheels back to fit the servo

i did build an excavator with full arm and bucket operation from wood and same setup,was decent,o level A lol
