Wild Camping Above The Clouds in The Lake District

In this video myself and the boys head for a wildcamp on Swirl how in The Lake District. We parked up on Wrynose pass and then started the hike. Its quite a gradual hike with stunning views all round. The first summit you hit is Great Carrs. Once up at this height the walk becomes fairly easy. The views open up once again seeing as far as the Scafell range. Just off from the summit is a memorial from a plane crash in 1944. We hit the summit of Swirl How and the found a nice flat spot to pitch. It was quite windy and Tom was unable to pitch so he had to kip in my tent. The stars were out in full force with a few meteors passing over head and we even got to see the milky way with the naked eye. Once we woke up we was greeted with a full cloud inversion as far as the eye can see. We stood and watched it build up but it was soon time to pack down and head back to the car. So I hope you enjoyed this one as much as we did and ill catch you on the next one.
