I wish this channel could post videos weekly, if not daily.
...They do...
For those who don't understand or know Haiti and its social dynamics, guys like Rigaud and Boyer are hated in Haiti for a lot of valid reasons and also why some people from the northern region of Haiti dont like those in the south till this day.
How do Haitians in the north feel about the DR and the occupation that once happened under Boyer
@@mixtapemania6769 overall, Haitians were against Boyer as a whole. As far as him invading DR, you won't hear any Haitians praising him for that either. He was a disgrace to our country
I LOVE YOUR NARRATION!!!
You should make an episode of Claudette Colvin!!
When the revolutionary revolution continues to be revolutionary
Keep up the good work must be hard making these.
i almost thought you will never upload
Can we go over the British monarch? I've always been curious on how it works and why they still have royalty? Why do they have kings and queens when it seems that the British government has full power? What power does the monarchy still have? What is the history behind the British monarch? Lastly how do the people feel about this? Do they still want a monarchy or do they want to get rid of royalty for good?
Please like for a series about the history and current status of the British monarchy.
This one would go through multiple century i think.
after this you should do a bit on the german coast uprising of 1811 or the caucasian war.
Thanks for the video. :-)
These vids are more helpfull than a real school
4:07 was the best
I hope there is a follow-up series to this.
I think you would do a great job on the 1798 irish rebellion
again, another amazing video.
Ironic that my WHAP class just went over this a few days ago
2:58 That's just slavery with extra steps!
This series is great ! Later you guys should also make a video about Dominican independence
I don't think there's an audience for that; the Haitian revolution was more significant in the scheme of things for many reasons like: the first successful slave rebellion, the first black republic anywhere in the world, France forced to part with their holdings in North America, the abolition of slavery across the French empire, the defeat of the French and British army by the Haitian rebels. And I say that as a Dominican...
That's gon be wild.
They should include the war of restoration in that one too
Dominican republic has a history of demonizing Haiti.
@@mixtapemania6769 Dominicans have a history of demonizing Haiti.
So when are you going to talk about the Polish revolt in carribean America
Polish mercenaries are going to betray the French to help us.
Do Napoleon or The war of 1812 (I know that they're in the same era but what I mean is either the life of Napoleon or The war of 1812
I advise you to look up Epic History TV. Their Nepoleon videos are amazing. They recently uploaded a video on the build up to the battle of Leipzig and the 6th coalition.
@@ieuanhunt552 thx I'll do that
2 episodes ago "Burning houses, destroying plantations" Revolution is great, until people realize they broke everything. War is a classic, doing the wrong thing for the right reason deal.
You might wanna put in lies that the biggest concern to the british wasnt barbados but Jamaica, which was right across from Haiti, and also their most productive colony in the caribbean.
I was surprised when he mentioned Barbados. Barbados had no connection to Haitian revolution, Jamaica had.
I've been watching your videos for a long time, and they are amazing (Catherine the Great is my fav). Maybe you should make a video on Marie Curie.
and finally in part 5 things seems to get less confusing and complicate.
Please can you do an episode of the Alamo
Please explain the jacket sleeve buttons.
Are we headed to Napoleon’s campaigns next?!? Please do
