Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia´s quotation: "Jarno Saarinen's legacy continues to live on. There is still an active Saarinen fan club in Italy. The birth name Jarno became very popular in Italy of many newborn boys in the '70s. One of them is Jarno Trulli, the former Formula-1 driver. Saarinen remains the only Finn to have won a motorcycle road racing world championship, winning 15 Grand Prix during his career. In 2009, the F.I.M. inducted Saarinen into the MotoGP Hall of Fame"
No doubt about it I watched him at race of the year 1972 and he absolutely demolished the opposition never seen it before and don’t think I will see it again.
"I'm not doubting that he was good". . . 250 world champion * First rider to win Daytona 200 and Imola 200 in same year (both on 350's against 750's) * won GP's with 30+ second margins against riders with equal machines * on target to win 250 and 500 championships in the year he died. Gotta to hope you've never said anything even more stupid than that!
i love motorcycle racing and i like to see who make our sport wonderfull thanks jarno and all riders
