I've seen you twice now at the Hollywood Palladium and once up at Big Bear. You kick so much ass!!! Your drumming has added so much to my favorite band of all time.
This just seems like 'The Offspring' the whole way through. Sort of how I always envisioned they'd be if you ever met them in real life. I can't see Dexter, Noodles, and Pete just sitting in the back dressing room twiddling their thumbs, tapping drum sticks against the wall waiting for something to happen. They seem like the sort of guys that always want to stay linked up with their fans. Always wanting to be interacting with everyone who supports them and shares a common interest in their music and what they're about. Holland figured out Facebook and couldn't stop that interaction with his fanbase. They want to meet and greet everyone they can and these vids put out by Parada are exactly that. It's "Let me show ya how it's done!" Whether it's a publicity stunt or not, maybe, but I think it's just them wanting to have fun and hang out with their fans. I'd love to see these guys live and missed an opportunity where I used to live. Someday it might happen. Of all the bands on this planet, these guys have been my favorite since I was a teenager and they still know how to rock and stay relevant but not lose touch with their fanbase. These are the guys I'd go to see live. Might get lucky to see em or even shake their hand. Man.... Thanks for the memories guys! Rock hard! Looking forward to your next album. I'M SICK OF WAITING! I wouldn't be surprised if their manager had em setup on a stage and they pulled the ol System of the Down and said: "Nah, screw that! drop the stage right in the middle of em and we'll rock out with our fans around us. The way we like it!" I've been picking away the drums for several years. I suck at em but, I can't seem to give it up. Ah well.

Hey, Pete. I really love your style in The Offspring, because you play "just right". No overplaying or pretentious fills or anything like that. Although I, personally, like more complex drumming, I found your style of playing really nice and refreshing as it fits perfectly for the band and songs. :)
this is awesome man. i just saw the drum lesson and it was interesting to see how the drumming is breaking down. i've been waffling on which instrument i'd like to learn how to play, and i feel like either bass or the drums would suit me. so far i've tried goofing around on the instruments that Guitar Center will let you play with and i seem to have a good sense of rhythm when i play those. guitar not so much.... >.>
