I have a Kdex holster for my SDVE 9 &40 ouch very uncomfortable since it need to be IWB the only way I found to carry them is in back with a alethic t shirt in between skin & hostler & another not good in summertime to so I bought a Pancake holster very comfortable fit great works good summertime & winter, Next I bought a shoulder holster it ok but a little hard to get adjusted & I wind breaker or long sleeve shirt to cover. Lastly I purchased some holsters. with snap to lock down my guns they also are very comfortable and easy on skin. I have ear mark 3 Leather IWB that plan on using shortly
Not sure if any of the company we recommend support the SDVE, reason being is that model is older. . But hey, as long as it works for you, that’s all that matters!
Nice job explaining the fit issues of holsters. I'd like to mention I've been very happy with Vedder holsters. They come stock with metal clips that don't thrash your belt like DCCs. The DCCs offer the most retention but I find the Vedders offer plenty, they conceal just as well and when you need to get those pants down RIGHT NOW, the Vedder clips do not impede.
Noted, though we did not experience this when we checked the videos for quality, your comment is dully noted. May I suggest watching it in higher definition?
Ernie, just a suggestion might be a good idea for you or the team to respond or reply to your subscribers. I know how busy the team is. But i am sure we would truly appreciate interaction when we post questions or comments.. Not a lot of to filter through. Just a suggestion.
I keep coming back to Vedder. Well designed and well made. I found them because they offered one for my Walther P99 which is a bit of a rare bird. Super happy with them. I like Tier1 sidecar style but the Vedder Light Tuck or Pro Tuck are better for all day, IMHO
Appendix? Three o’clock? How’s your body type? Do you want a sidecar or customizable? What’s your budget? So many options.. something that works for one person might not work for you.
Leather holsters are certainly not a thing of the past or Milt Sparks wouldn’t have a 40 week backlog. Also there are guns other than plastic fantastic striker fired pistols. The DA/SA pistol is having a renaissance and small concealable revolvers are being produced by every major firearms manufacturer. If those guns didn’t sell they wouldn’t be made. I will venture a guess that most of those genres ride in leather holsters! 🇺🇸👮🏻♂️👍🏻
Yes leather holster are definitely still being used, but one can not argue that the kydex holster technology far surpasses leather. Though if you truly love leather, may I suggest a hybrid holster? I see more DA/SA and revolvers in kydex holsters now a days than leather. But we and our clients are a small sample size. I’m sure in your area, that is your truth.

Thank you for this info!
I appendix carry a glock 34 with a tlr1 hl and it's very comfortable with the correct holster.
Great job. Bkack shirt, black gun, black holster makes it difficult for us to see what parts you are referring to.
Right…, right…, right…, right…?

Hahaha. 😂😂😂
Opinions on Vedder?
Vedder is legit.
I have gone through my share of holsters over the years. And have been using vedder for about 9 months now..
Gtg
eddie vedder was overated

Recommend a holster for a Glock 19 with an optic and TLR1-HL
Tenicor Malus Sol. Makes my Glock 19 with all the fore mentioned feels much smaller.

Tenicor Malus Sol is the best one in our opinion.

I prefer aliengear at 4:30
I have nothing but love for my Aliengear shapeshifter holster, but when you want to add a RDS and WML, it’s a no go. Otherwise, love the modularity.
Love alien gear, but they do lack WML compatibility, hence why it is rarely used by the TRB Team
