Those Commies *ALMOST* Beat Captain Kirk's Vikings! [Week 9]

YOU LIKE THAT, COMMIES?! Kirk Cousins got hit all day, but led the Minnesota Vikings to a 20-17 comeback victory against his former team and its salty fans. And at 7-1, the Vikings are off to their best start since 2009, while the Washington Commanders had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Cousins dropped dimes under pressure all game, and had two TD passes, the second a brilliant throw and one-handed catch by Dalvin Cook after Harrison Smith's interception of Taylor Heinicke tilted momentum for Minnesota's fourth-quarter rally.
After opening the game with a big drive and acrobatic TD reception, Justin Jefferson came down with a 47-yard completion in the fourth and finished with seven catches for 115 yards. New Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson caught all nine passes Cousins threw his way for 70 yards in his Vikings debut.
QB Taylor Heinicke's hot play fizzled after getting some incredible luck when a third-quarter throw into triple coverage resulted in a Curtis Samuel touchdown after an official knocked over Cam Bynum in coverage. The NFL tried its best to stop the "fraudulent" Vikings. No such luck.

The Vikes had to overcome the worst officiating I’ve seen in years and I’m not including the back judge who prevented an interception. I am not sure they understand what pass interference and/or illegal contact is. The referee in this game has been horrible for years and is not improving. Isn’t he the guy the NFL deleted/disregarded his negative scores for a season and then let him referee a Super Bowl even though he hadn’t refereed a divisional championship? Why is that clown still allowed to referee ini the NFL? High schools need referees too.

@@megablackfrog9235 There were a lot of calls missed., I will highlight a few I remember. Thielen got mugged a few times before the ball got to him. On one play he was going across the middle and the defender had his hands wrapped around Thielen’s waist long before the ball got to him. You can pause the play and see that the ball is a yard or more away from Thielen while the defender is already hanging on him. Jefferson got mugged in the right corner of the end zone - another clear and obvious interference and this one cost the Vikings a TD. The closest call may have been when Dalvin Cook had to make a spectacular left handed TD reception because the defender had Cook’s right arm pulled back. If that call was the only miss, it would be understandable. My favorite was when a flag was actually thrown and everybody thought it was going to be a horse collar penalty only to have the referee announce that there was no penalty on the play for face mask! No sh*t Sherlock - there was no roughing the kicker either.

I think it boils down to just incompetence on the official. Just not aware of his surroundings even tho he’s a *professional* nfl referee. We’ve seen that so many times over the seasons how completely stupid most of the refs are
