It's similar to shading, but done around the whole piece - it'll give the end result a subtle darker finish as if you mixed some black into the top coat so it's not glaringly white, and not require him to make a custom white to paint with.
hi there! the difference is only the material. both are extremely good chisel. the longer blade looking chisel is bendable, while the shorter chisel is hard and strong.

That rotary auto gun makes no sense. 1:)The gun mount would break under the guns' own weight, g-forces, and recoil. The mount should be gyro so the gun can move in sync with head movement instead of with the body. So the Gundam can fire while still presenting as little of the main body from returning fire. 2:)It has no ammo bin nor an ammo belt to feed to the gun. If this a beam weapon I can understand I would make the shield wider about the width of the torso and tapper down so when the Gundam guards it can see through the vision port of the shield and not expose the torso in the direction at it guarding against. Maybe make it a little longer as well to cover eyes to ankle.
If building a gunpla model have to makes sense then what's the fun in customising? the whole gundam world should exist as well if based on all your assumptions

I didn’t know you could use the old seed back packs with the new revive strike.
Strike does compatible with many different pack since the plug behind is the same, just like windam and dagger

Basically lacquer, finisher is from japan
Acrylic is slightly weaker than lacquer paint so do test painting before doing to your model kit

Usually 1:2 for majority of lacquer paint brand, for modo brand it can be 2.5
