Killing Nicol/Destroying blitz was strictly accidental in the anime- in novel, a different story as Nicol actually went to nearly destroy the ship; Kira went SEED mode and killed him with superhuman efficiency.
This is seriously more believable. Because Flay's manipulation and seeing yzak heartlessly killing civilians to goad him, Kira became more cold. He nonchalantly shot through a bucue he was stepping on with an Agni. That bucue would've been out of the fight had he simply stomped on its head. Nicol is just another enemy at this point. He don't even know Nicol personally. The story framing it as an accident and Kira thinking about Nicol's death is a character inconsistency. It was only after tolle's death in the hands of athrun and partaking in a life and death fight against his childhood friend did he realise he had become heartless. This was his character growth.
The remaster made it worse from what I recall since it made it look more like Nicol basically FELL onto KIra’s sword instead of trying to block it Which by the way shows again both how stupid the Lacus Team was and how annoyed I am at the story writers…..it is pointed out ALL the time that besides soft targets the CIWS head mounted guns are can be good for pin point targeting for larger targets, but outside of the OG Gundam series NO ONE every even attempts to use the damn guns or even thinks to use them for JOINT attacks Heck if he shot at either his knees or eyes that would have easily thrown off Kira’s aim and at least allowed Nicol to tackle him away to save Athrun and not pointless die But nope got to have that drama and showing us how dumb these kids are that where given the STRONGEST weapons in the war are

It's really not bad... it took me years to finally sit down and watch it, and I struggled to get through the first 10 or so episodes, but afterwards it got better.

Kira actually hated Aile Strike in the beginning. In his first space battle without the super power of Sword or Launcher he almost got captured by the enemy.
Hmmm pretty interesting video, mate. Honestly Seed series has too many MSV that sometimes you don't know what's what and from where anymore. I like the design of windam and honestly with the spec and how it look (with the V fin and color scheme) it can be a starting MS for a main character of Gundam lol. Great job mate

I've never been a fan of CE timeline because a certain Jesus and more of UC guy, but the design of Seed MS is pretty cool. Especially the MSV ones like the Astray line and X series. In my school vr game there's a new striker pack made by galahorn called the ahbp ( anti hybrid beast pack ( or anti hyper beast pack ) it's a pack Pacificly used to fight 00 goalius in the mission called a titanic trap where you see the fight as the rainboom and it kicked goalius @$$ and even smashed goalius biohelm but things went to absolute shit when mobile armour Fenrir showed up and caused 00 goalius limiters to be deactivated and Fenrir was destroyed badly and both 00 goalius and strike gundam was absolutely demolished by eachother and there was some brutal highlights include goalius smashed the face of the strike the strike ripped off 00 goalius left mandible and slammed it into 00 goalius bionic eye and both fired off all of there weapons at each other point blank and both where demolished and the damage was strike ahbp was destroyed the head was missing the face no left hand and right leg plus the striker port was covered in dirt and clogged but 00 goalius had it worse he lost both eyes missing a mandible both gn drives blow up and his whole bottom half was disintegrated
Is it wrong that the Strike is my favourite main Gundam? I mean, I backordered the MG of this thing and it wowed me over when I saw the first three episodes of SEED. That, and I'm a sucker for that early-to-mid 2000s style of being bulky and sleek at the same time.
I always wished there had been upgraded versions of the three main striker packs to give the Strike some more symmetrical armor. Full Launcher with two of the shoulder mounts, Double Sword with two blades and two arm attachments, and a Full Aile with some kind of red shoulder attachments plus two shields and two rifles. Though the last one would make the Strike look like something out of Thunderbolt.
It's possible that the Windham may have been issued to MS team leaders due to having the V-antenna on the forehead while the 105 Dagger was reserved for ace pilots due to the limited number produe and the other mass-produced MS were for the standard grunts... you might've already said so even as I'm typing this

I feel bad for the Wingdams they look awesome and i love their weapons and somehow they remind me of the Jegans. However, they always get blow out in the anime. If i was a character in the cosmic era my Mobile Suit would be a Wingdam equip with the noir striker pack and modified legs, back thrusters, a modified shield with a beam cannon along side the missiles a new beam rifle that looks similar to Gundam Kyrious GN machine gun. I would call it Wingdam NC (Noir, Custom). In addition i would desert the earth alliance with some engineers and mechanics to join Orb and blow some zakus warriors.

@@zethythonix yeah, seed destiny was a mess because fukuda and his wife thinks that they can do whatever they want. Shinn va and cagalli va didn't like that so they rebel resulting in cagalli written out and shin becoming antagonist
Technically, I don’t trust that thing even though this is the official answer. Because this setting was mentioned in Astray Manga and purely created for explaining the BS survival, realistically, for a narrow place like a cockpit, you can’t really put another emergency hatch or cockpit isolation in there, so this setting is purely created for explain the BS. Safety Shuttle on Strike E is another story, it was added by Actaeon Industries to provide a higher chance of survival if anything goes wrong. That’s more believable to me.
@@zethythonix agreed, but I think I found the so-called Emergency cockpit shield in my PG. Because Lowe found Kira unconscious at the time and Athrun was knocked down too; so he couldn’t finish the job, if he suspected Kira survived or detain him as pow to bring back to the PLANTs.
Every time I try to figure out any logical reason why Kira survived a point blank MS self destruct, I come up with nothing. The only way I can justify the Aegis not pulping Kira, is that the Aegis self destruct had developed a fault and a large chunk of the Aegis launched away as it self destructed and protected Kira. A BS answer to a BS event.

I know this not about Gundam SEED Destiny but I think it would be a disservice not to mention ZAFTs answer to the Strike, the ZGMF-X65S Impulse Gundam. As it is basically an upgraded version of the Strike.
Buddy, Impulse is a separate line, so that’s why I didn’t include it in these two videos. Impulse is inspired by Strike but not directly using its data and using Strike as a base. ZAFT put in a lot of work to make a lot of things different, which was why it’s a separate thing and I will explain it separately
@@zethythonix I was suggesting you go in-depth about the Impulse, I only meant that it should be mentioned that the Strike was so well designed that ZAFT basically copied the base of the Strike for the Impulse. Again I think it should be mentioned, not fully explained.

The only real problem with the dagger l units because of the shoulders they cannot Mount any of the striker packs that have shoulder-mounted equipment like the Gatling gun missile pod from the launcher the bean boomerang for the sword Striker so the only thing they could Mount where the backpack components or the forearm mounted electromagnetic cannon from the lightning Striker pack
I honestly think the strike and dagger line is the coolest one. but some of those weapon packages are so... well... cringe. The design of the MS is what's great to me, in the standard aile configuration mostly.
Even though I dislike Seed and Seed Destiny as Gundam series, the mobile suits, specially the Strike, have great designs. Wasted at the anime, but at the games are always nice to have!

like a gundam seed series noob here: Where did all those unfamiliar characters come from? Comic books? Sorry during those wars most of the gundams looks the same to me.
I mean, why wouldn’t you make a suit that could fit any situation that you needed? Heck, fix the problems that your inspiration had while you’re at it. Force Impulse had relatively the same system as the Aile, whereas it was faster and had the core block system for easy ejection. The Sword Impulse fixes the issue of a lack of range weaponry by giving it the beam rifle used by the Force. It improves the melee by creating two anti-ship swords that combine into a large dual-wielded sword, and even though it doesn’t have the shield hook, it does still have those boomerangs, two of which are much larger than the Sword Strike’s. The Blast improves upon the concept of guns are never enough, giving it two anti-ship plasma guns, with missile pods at the back of said guns. It also been given melee weapons in the form of beam spears so as to probably avoid hitting it’s own weapons with a much more longer weapon where the dangerous point was the tip that would be pointed towards an enemy usually, as opposed to a beam saber where the safe part would be the handle and nowhere else.
The w in schwert and gewehr is v in German language. Ootori is superior than IWSP imo as it doesn't give too much stress on the MS frame like it and Perfect Strike did and give multiple weapons in Aile like performance. Flay Allster was originally planned to be Rouge's pilot and EA's version of Strike before they change it to Cagalli and Orb. Too bad they did Windam dirty in GSD along with the GuAIZ R as both are analogous to each other. Wish GSD got better writer and director and Neo should've been somebody else. Looking forward for the Strike E, it's my favourite Strike variant. Oh and uh, the original GSD due to delays in script and schedule deadline that the animators had to abuse stock footage, one can see a Strike fighting the Freedom during Shinn vs Kira. Wish they got a competent production team just like the ones who made Stargazer. One more thing, it seems like the Gunbarrel Striker pack may have been inspired 0 Raiser's design in 00.
You are right about Flay, it was going to be her suit at one point, but I felt like it’s not important at all because this setting it’s very arguable (it was revealed in SD generation) About Gunbarrel Striker, you are wrong unfortunately, 00 Raiser was released in 2009 and gunbarrel striker was already released in a PS2 game back in 2006. For the other way around, you can say 0 raiser is inspired by Gunbarrel Striker. About GSD, Fukuda’s wife was having a serious illness which was why he have no mood to write the story properly, which resulted rushing deadlines, reusing footages and bad story writing.
To say that Launcher strike did not have any close combat weapons is an kinda dumb because It still have the Armor Schniders and even better to watch THE FISTS

No you got it wrong, Sven took the IWSP from the Slaughter Dagger because his Noir striker was destroyed, he then used the IWSP and defeated Delta Astray. Joining the DSSD is after the stargazer event, he never joined the Martians.
Seeing that you used pictures of the metal build launcher strike you didn’t mention that the right shoulder piece has beam sabers. Unless you didn’t know or keep the video as close to the lore as possible.
Without the Aile Strike pack, it looks too plain by itself. Never understood why Bandai released it in the Universe series of figures without the pack. Same with the Target exclusive Strike Rouge.
Yeah, ita pretty clear these backpacks suits were pretty much designed with the pack in mind. Atleast the zaft zaku is chonky, the alliance design are too slim
It bothers me how short the wings on the aile striker were in some scenes. It makes me even more upset how this was represented in some model kits, like the original HG or the 1/100 no grade.

BS, completely BS. Mu exited the stage beautifully and left a really good impression to the audience, which is a big brother, a good teammate and a funny boyfriend for the captain. However, forcing him to come back to life is really stupid. Turning him into a scumbag and piloting Akatsuki at the end??? Why no one is punishing his massacre plan in Berlin??? Seriously, his revive is just so BS and completely made up. If he stayed dead, then his exit will be one of the best and saddest exit in the whole Gundam Franchise

IWSP- pain in the ass to use, even if you are a posthuman (newtype (high spatial awareness) and/or SEED factor user) or transhuman (coordinators, carbon human or bio cpu/extendeds). However, give shrike a NJC with a nuclear reactor and the battery problem issue is solved.

Ok, Gundam is usually a prototype for an unknown future mass production plan or a fully planned mass production plan, which means Gundam usually have one for each purpose before turning those data into other plans or mass production plans
Strike is like Nokia. It survived an aegis blast and can be repaired to full performance. It blocked a freakin positron blast when normal beams would've shot through multiple ms. The basic model will become the mainstay of many other phones in its generation. (Striker packs, wizard packs, silhouette packs, akatsuki packs etc) Even after becoming outdated, it's still useful and a threat on the battlefield.
Thats why i love the strike more than the freedom or strike freedom cuz the MS "MADE SENSE" and a machine tha if built in real life it will become deadly.
@@zethythonix Ironically, I think the dagger L would probably the only one capable of it. It's output could probably handle it if the weapons where tuned down like the original. The inner frame was actually reinforced that's how it ended up heavier than the slaughter dagger, and I don't see how it's any worse than the IWSP. The only problem I can still see would be the OS, and I'm assumeing an ace is using this, and would be easier to ask the top brass to get a technician to change the OS than to say ask for a Windam.
as much as i like the new design of freedom,justice destiny etc. i really think they jump into all the overpowered ms too quickly. should have prolong the story and the line of ms like UC timeline.
I think Dagger is not working in real life, considering it can use all the packs from the first generation. Even Sword Striker is expensive despite it didn’t have much things on it.
I don't think so as another 80's Sunrise show, Layzner has similar system in the mechas. Gunbarrel Striker in the other hand has a cockpit and designed to combined with the Strike may have inspired 0 Raiser's design in 00. Red PS color in SEED means best defense. That's why Justice and Sword Impulse are red due to CQB. You need the best defense for CQB.

Strike is basically is what a Battletech player would call an omnimech. Its able to swap weapons pods to change its combat roles.
Except the striker pack literally plug and play while omnimechs require proper facilities to change your pods out.
@@JeanLucCaptain depends as some missile specific units have easy to replace pods for resupply on the field. Mostly innersphere though.

In my school vr game there's a new striker pack made by galahorn called the ahbp ( anti hybrid beast pack ( or anti hyper beast pack ) it's a pack Pacificly used to fight 00 goalius in the mission called a titanic trap where you see the fight as the rainboom and it kicked goalius @$$ and even smashed goalius biohelm but things went to absolute shit when mobile armour Fenrir showed up and caused 00 goalius limiters to be deactivated and Fenrir was destroyed badly and both 00 goalius and strike gundam was absolutely demolished by eachother and there was some brutal highlights include goalius smashed the face of the strike the strike ripped off 00 goalius left mandible and slammed it into 00 goalius bionic eye and both fired off all of there weapons at each other point blank and both where demolished and the damage was strike ahbp was destroyed the head was missing the face no left hand and right leg plus the striker port was covered in dirt and clogged but 00 goalius had it worse he lost both eyes missing a mandible both gn drives blow up and his whole bottom half was disintegrated
Is it wrong that the Strike is my favourite main Gundam? I mean, I backordered the MG of this thing and it wowed me over when I saw the first three episodes of SEED. That, and I'm a sucker for that early-to-mid 2000s style of being bulky and sleek at the same time.

I always wished there had been upgraded versions of the three main striker packs to give the Strike some more symmetrical armor. Full Launcher with two of the shoulder mounts, Double Sword with two blades and two arm attachments, and a Full Aile with some kind of red shoulder attachments plus two shields and two rifles.
Though the last one would make the Strike look like something out of Thunderbolt.

It's possible that the Windham may have been issued to MS team leaders due to having the V-antenna on the forehead while the 105 Dagger was reserved for ace pilots due to the limited number produe and the other mass-produced MS were for the standard grunts... you might've already said so even as I'm typing this

I feel bad for the Wingdams they look awesome and i love their weapons and somehow they remind me of the Jegans. However, they always get blow out in the anime. If i was a character in the cosmic era my Mobile Suit would be a Wingdam equip with the noir striker pack and modified legs, back thrusters, a modified shield with a beam cannon along side the missiles a new beam rifle that looks similar to Gundam Kyrious GN machine gun. I would call it Wingdam NC (Noir, Custom). In addition i would desert the earth alliance with some engineers and mechanics to join Orb and blow some zakus warriors.

Strike had an emergency cockpit shield that protected Kira from aegis self destruct
Technically, I don’t trust that thing even though this is the official answer.
Because this setting was mentioned in Astray Manga and purely created for explaining the BS survival, realistically, for a narrow place like a cockpit, you can’t really put another emergency hatch or cockpit isolation in there, so this setting is purely created for explain the BS.
Safety Shuttle on Strike E is another story, it was added by Actaeon Industries to provide a higher chance of survival if anything goes wrong. That’s more believable to me.

I found the so-called Emergency cockpit shield in my PG.
Because Lowe found Kira unconscious at the time and Athrun was knocked down too; so he couldn’t finish the job, if he suspected Kira survived or detain him as pow to bring back to the PLANTs.
Every time I try to figure out any logical reason why Kira survived a point blank MS self destruct, I come up with nothing.
The only way I can justify the Aegis not pulping Kira, is that the Aegis self destruct had developed a fault and a large chunk of the Aegis launched away as it self destructed and protected Kira.

I know this not about Gundam SEED Destiny but I think it would be a disservice not to mention ZAFTs answer to the Strike, the ZGMF-X65S Impulse Gundam. As it is basically an upgraded version of the Strike.
Buddy, Impulse is a separate line, so that’s why I didn’t include it in these two videos. Impulse is inspired by Strike but not directly using its data and using Strike as a base. ZAFT put in a lot of work to make a lot of things different, which was why it’s a separate thing and I will explain it separately

The only real problem with the dagger l units because of the shoulders they cannot Mount any of the striker packs that have shoulder-mounted equipment like the Gatling gun missile pod from the launcher the bean boomerang for the sword Striker so the only thing they could Mount where the backpack components or the forearm mounted electromagnetic cannon from the lightning Striker pack
In Destiny Astray manga, a Dagger L is seen with Sword pack shoulder equipment. So they can atleast moint that.

The design of the MS is what's great to me, in the standard aile configuration mostly.
Even though I dislike Seed and Seed Destiny as Gundam series, the mobile suits, specially the Strike, have great designs. Wasted at the anime, but at the games are always nice to have!

I mean, why wouldn’t you make a suit that could fit any situation that you needed? Heck, fix the problems that your inspiration had while you’re at it.
Force Impulse had relatively the same system as the Aile, whereas it was faster and had the core block system for easy ejection.
The Sword Impulse fixes the issue of a lack of range weaponry by giving it the beam rifle used by the Force. It improves the melee by creating two anti-ship swords that combine into a large dual-wielded sword, and even though it doesn’t have the shield hook, it does still have those boomerangs, two of which are much larger than the Sword Strike’s.
The Blast improves upon the concept of guns are never enough, giving it two anti-ship plasma guns, with missile pods at the back of said guns. It also been given melee weapons in the form of beam spears so as to probably avoid hitting it’s own weapons with a much more longer weapon where the dangerous point was the tip that would be pointed towards an enemy usually, as opposed to a beam saber where the safe part would be the handle and nowhere else.
Kira Yamato is the most babied protagonist of all time specially in GS destiny where Strike.Freedom. never got.hit 😁😁😁 but i like all kiras gundam

The w in schwert and gewehr is v in German language. Ootori is superior than IWSP imo as it doesn't give too much stress on the MS frame like it and Perfect Strike did and give multiple weapons in Aile like performance. Flay Allster was originally planned to be Rouge's pilot and EA's version of Strike before they change it to Cagalli and Orb. Too bad they did Windam dirty in GSD along with the GuAIZ R as both are analogous to each other. Wish GSD got better writer and director and Neo should've been somebody else. Looking forward for the Strike E, it's my favourite Strike variant. Oh and uh, the original GSD due to delays in script and schedule deadline that the animators had to abuse stock footage, one can see a Strike fighting the Freedom during Shinn vs Kira. Wish they got a competent production team just like the ones who made Stargazer. One more thing, it seems like the Gunbarrel Striker pack may have been inspired 0 Raiser's design in 00.
You are right about Flay, it was going to be her suit at one point, but I felt like it’s not important at all because this setting it’s very arguable (it was revealed in SD generation)
About Gunbarrel Striker, you are wrong unfortunately, 00 Raiser was released in 2009 and gunbarrel striker was already released in a PS2 game back in 2006. For the other way around, you can say 0 raiser is inspired by Gunbarrel Striker.
About GSD, Fukuda’s wife was having a serious illness which was why he have no mood to write the story properly, which resulted rushing deadlines, reusing footages and bad story writing.
To say that Launcher strike did not have any close combat weapons is an kinda dumb because It still have the Armor Schniders and even better to watch THE FISTS

No you got it wrong, Sven took the IWSP from the Slaughter Dagger because his Noir striker was destroyed, he then used the IWSP and defeated Delta Astray.
Joining the DSSD is after the stargazer event, he never joined the Martians.

Metal build is not very official, in the true MSV/Seed settings, that Beam Saber never existed.
Never understood why the hand-held weapons were connected to the mobile suit own power source, it defeats the very reason of having hand held weapons.

IWSP- pain in the ass to use, even if you are a posthuman (newtype (high spatial awareness) and/or SEED factor user) or transhuman (coordinators, carbon human or bio cpu/extendeds). However, give shrike a NJC with a nuclear reactor and the battery problem issue is solved.

I do not know the lore or story, what are the differences between a Gundam and a non Gundam mobile suits? I so far like the concept alot though.
Ok, Gundam is usually a prototype for an unknown future mass production plan or a fully planned mass production plan, which means Gundam usually have one for each purpose before turning those data into other plans or mass production plans

It survived an aegis blast and can be repaired to full performance.
It blocked a freakin positron blast when normal beams would've shot through multiple ms.
The basic model will become the mainstay of many other phones in its generation. (Striker packs, wizard packs, silhouette packs, akatsuki packs etc)
Even after becoming outdated, it's still useful and a threat on the battlefield.

@@zethythonix Ironically, I think the dagger L would probably the only one capable of it. It's output could probably handle it if the weapons where tuned down like the original. The inner frame was actually reinforced that's how it ended up heavier than the slaughter dagger, and I don't see how it's any worse than the IWSP. The only problem I can still see would be the OS, and I'm assumeing an ace is using this, and would be easier to ask the top brass to get a technician to change the OS than to say ask for a Windam.

Gunbarrel Striker in the other hand has a cockpit and designed to combined with the Strike may have inspired 0 Raiser's design in 00. Red PS color in SEED means best defense. That's why Justice and Sword Impulse are red due to CQB. You need the best defense for CQB.
