If you add Turkish subtitles to the video, more people will watch it. Hull City team has many fans in Turkey. Even though I don't know English, it seems like a really great and detailed video. It's a great TH-cam channel. 🐯🐯🇹🇷🏴
I for one enjoy yout Hull updates even more than your regular content. Very in-depth takes of lesser-known subjects are always more interesting than overviews of widely-known ones.
As an American soccer fan. I love your video essays on clubs. The English Football pyramid is very interesting and I wish we had a similar system in the US. Best of luck to Hull City FC!
As a fellow Hull fan/member and North Cave native, it is so refreshing to hear someone with such great knowledge and a grounded point of view on our team, I completely agree with everything you have said . I have been following your content for a few years now and have to say it is fantastic. I count myself as quite knowledgeable on football but I learn something new for each of your videos. Please keep up the great work. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and New Year
I can remember Hull City for their bizarre EPL debut campaign in the 2008/09 season when they started off incredibly well their form up to Christmas was basically European form but then they suffered a couple of heavy defeats culminating in that crazy half time pitch talk by Phil Brown after they were losing 4-0 to Man City and it all went downhill from that point on for them Hull barely managed to win a game for the rest of the season and only survived relegation on the final day when Newcastle lost to Aston Villa which meant they went down instead of Hull who despite losing to Man Utd survived by a point it was truly bizarre and i haven't seen anything similar happening to any other team in the EPL era
Yeah I remember that, the signing at the end by Phil Brown. While Alladyce sent his commiseration out to Newcastle and the teams that went down. Phil Brown’s antics rubbed me up the wrong way, looking in hindsight.
A Hull City fan here - that was such a bizarre and surreal season for us. So many crazy things have happened to the club this century after years of football obscurity lol
As a Villa fan I can confirm, Alfie is certainly being measured about JPB. He's pure quality. Seeing JPB leaving felt wrong. He would not be out of place at all at VP this season. I'm glad to see he's doing well and that Hull are improving as I like the club. Just hope to see him back as a Villa player sooner rather than later.
Thank you! As a fellow Hull City supporter, it's good to have someone with such a comprehensive understanding of the club creating videos like this about the Tigers. I'll be looking forward to the next installment. UTT!
It's just nice to have my football club back & get pleasure from watching them again. Acun gets it 👍 Liam Rosenier will manage England one day but hopefully not for a very long time 😀 Lokilo is gonna come good, shame the injury got him. Need a left back & a big, nasty striker, we're too nice at times. Up the Tigers 👍
Hi good friend Alfie, your beloved Hull City have been doing a fantastic form so far this season and with several recent victories, including your team's 3-0 home win against Cardiff City and I know that you are a season ticket holder!!!Your owner is slowly marketing with your team and connecting with your team's supporters and Ozan Tufan is rising as one of the best together with Jacob Greaves and etc, good friend!!!Keep going forward to your Hull City team, good friend!!!🏋♂️
Having supported City for over 55 years I can honestly say that Philogene is the best player we have bought by a country mile. Last nights game against Bristol City we managed to lose 3-2 after leading 2-1. With Philogene, that would have been a goalfest in our favour. Obviously he will be gone by next season but what skills he has for us all to admire and hopefully keep us in and around the playoffs. If we can only pick up a competent keeper in the new year and nobody else, that will do.
Come for hearing more about Jaden Philogene and wondering how Scott Twine is getting on, stay for the violent use of Creme Eggs and McVities ownership lore. Excellent
An interesting video would be Ilicali's takeover of League of Ireland side Shelbourne in the summer and how he was basically forced out by the Shels fans for wanting to get rid of Damien Duff
How about a end of year "what on earth is going on in the Championship/League one/League two" series? Help out those of us who love the lower leagues but haven't been up to date this year.
"Oh, yea of little faith..." PERFECT PICTURE SLIDE. As always, Alfie, a perfect HITC video and the fact it's on our beloved City. From a Tiger in exile, UTT #hcafc
Mate you need to do a video on birmingham. In just over the past decade alone we’ve had a league cup win, relegation from the prem, europa league in championship with record amount of points in group stage to not qualify for ko round due to other teams match fixing , escaped relegation to L1 on final day 3 times, two exciting young managers sacked for bigger names, a training ground burn down, a Chinese owner offer fans out for fights on the bcfc car park through Twitter to name a few.
Rosy your manager is a great coach he did will at Derby, he signed the team that is third at the moment and is after signing our brilliant midfielder Max Bird.
For some reason, I have a memory of watching the EPL on NBC and seeing an interview where Steve Bruce was saying all they needed was 10 wins to stay up. Hull city are forever in my brain
I love the Hull videos as they are closer to Alfie's heart than any other videos he makes. I mean, I love all his content, but these have a certain je ne sais quoi about them.
A video about the Brazil curse is fascinating too: since 2002, European teams that beat Brazil in World Cup will suffer from protracted crisis and will be the beginning of the eventual collapse. France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium both beat Brazil during that span and both suffered crisis later on. Only France have successfully recovered. Croatia, the recent executor of Brazil, is unclear, but their football has just recently suffered a shocking crisis in the youth level, the U17 failed to progress in U17 Euros, the U21 team could not even score a single goal in U21 Euro 2023, while Croatian national team was almost eliminated from the Euro 2024 run had it not been for Wales flopping to Armenia; the crisis is made worse by Croatia’a alarming shortage of young talents, hell why they are still depending on Luka Modric. Due to the shockingly poor performance, for the first time Croatian media has worried that they would be eliminated from the group stage under Dalic. It seems like beating Brazil is increasingly less glorious nowadays.
What about the latest developments of the Super League and if it actually goes ahead what will be the implications for the domestic Football leagues that's certainly worth a discussion imo
Best German players in the premier league of all time. (Day 587) I will not give up until the video is made or Alfie himself tells me to stop. Everyone else telling me that will be ignored. If you don't believe my number, just go back to the previous videos. I'm at the bottom most of the time, but I'm there.
theyre my favorite team in england not because I have any connection with them, but because I had an FM save with them and got quite attached, from what I have seen from them they're looking very promising under the turkish ownership, and Jaden looks great
As an Aston Villa supporter, I was shocked to see Philogene sold this season. Glad to see he's doing so well, and I hope Villa triggers that buyback clause and gets the best out of him ;)
7 footballers who started later in life who played at a top level? I know you did this a few years ago but it could be time to revist some of the earlier lists the channel put out. See if your opinion has changed at all. Merry Christmas Alfie. Thanks for all the years of informative content!!
Maybe you could do one about the fall of Southend United, another of Phil Brown's former teams. From Championship regulars and beating Man Utd in the League Cup to National League minnows in 15-20 years. And always on the brink of ending up like Bury. l
What on Earth is going on at Sevilla? They're down in 15th in La Liga 3 points off the relegation zone out of the UCL and failed to drop down to the UEL like the usually do.
As someone who supports a club that nearly left my city Wimbledon style, I am beyond happy that Hull City are in a much more comfortable spot. Nothing feels better than a outright terrible owner selling the club to an owner who actually cares even a little bit about the fanbase, and overall image of the club, over his personal beliefs or arrogance. Hope to possibly see the Tigers in the PL within the next few years. Their fans absolutely deserve it for what they have had to go through.

I think you're overdue a video on Ipswich Town. They've had an incredible 12 months.

Enjoyed that. Always had a soft spot for Hull City.
