100% the same way. Friends have asked since I grew up when the NES came out why I don't collect those games but I never owned a NES console so never had any emotional connection to the games enough to start collecting for it.
Dude totally relate to the feeling of being cluttered when younger and the liberating feeling of getting organized and downsizing. My home is now so much happier without the clutter! Im with you, brother!
It genuinely seems like you don't regret selling your collection, that's so cool, so mature, recognizing that you're just accumulating things that no longer make much sense for your life at this point. We can love games and still not need to accumulate so much that we no longer have space at home. I felt very happy to have sold my 3 handhelds last year and I'm satisfied with my few home consoles, with games stored on hard drives or everdrives, that's enough for me. Minimalism is freedom.
I sold my original Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube and all of the games a few years ago. I regretted it big time. I’ve since repurchased everything. I’ll never do that again. I’m glad you’re at peace with the decision.
Emulation doesn't feel the same... I've got decent pc that can Emulate all the consoles I own but you don't get the same feeling especially if you're going the CRT route.. CRT shaders can only do so much
I have regretted selling some of my games over the years and it doesn’t always hit you for a long time. Years even. Having said that, as I get older, my regret for getting rid of things gets less and less. As does the feeling of needing to actually have and play a lot of old games I used to love. The memories of them keeps me going.
Honestly, from the moment when you decide to sell your stuff. I never doubt that you would regret it. I know the choices that you made are the choice you made. No regrets, you did it your way and at the end if you're happy with it. Then that's what matters, and thankfully, the effects haven't happened to you, and even if it did, you would just shrugged it off
I can't agree more. I'm older than RGT and I don't regret not having a collection. The only thing I have collected is Zelda and so not miss any other stuff I've had in the past. Power move RGT.
A lot of this "de-cluttering" "minimalistic movement" is posible thanks to technology (streaming, digital photos, emulation, etc.). Twenty years ago, you couldn't get rid of your VHS, DVD, or gaming collection without letting go those memories forever. So, I don't thing that RGT 85, could do this in the early 2000s. Technology has allowed him to get rid of everything. Without emulation, he will not do it.
Glad you are happy with your decision and sounds like you're in a better spot for it mentally and in life. I think when people said you would regret it, they thought you were selling the games you grew up with and had memories with, but it sounds like you kept all the games important to you. I know exactly what you mean. I sometimes buy games I know I won't play or have time to play, but I try hard to just buy the games I really care about and am certain on playing. I started to realize that it's just not worth the opportunity cost for other things. On the other hand just the hobby of collecting and game hunting is fun in and of itself. So it goes both ways.
Congrats, dude! I’m truly happy for ya. Unfortunately, I’m selling off most of my gaming stuff bc of bills. In a way though, it’s kind of freeing. A lot of it I don’t use and some I question why I bought it. Having fewer devices is less of a PITA as well. And I love that.
Really like the positive vibe of this video. I'd love to see a video with a quick tour of your favorite retro games and why you think they are important
The fact that rgt made this video about his sold collection 2 months later when everyone has stopped talking about it is proof he regrets selling his collection.
Interesting take... or it might be he keeps getting asked about it, or wanted to make a point that people were wrong after they gave him so much grief. Granted, I think most people wouldn't expect regret to come until years later, possibly a decade or more. In any case, I actually really enjoyed this vid, surprisingly more than his normal vids. I guess it's a kind of feel good message when you get down to it. He's happy with his choice (so far), so I'm happy for him
During and post lockdown, I sold a huge chunk of my gaming collection because I figured if I didn't play it during lockdown then I never would! Money was never the motive for me but it did help a lot when I moved recently.
I have regretted every gaming related thing I’ve ever sold. They will always be those things you just can’t get them back. It’s always heart breaking 😔
Did same thing a few years ago. Love having the space and extra money. Still absolutely love the hobby just in it from a different approach that works best for me. Def stand behind this guys :)
I'm with you. I also got rid of my collection, gave most of everything away, in hopes someone could find the joy I found in them. Its been three years for me and I havent regretted it one bit. I found out having less was more. Also if i ever find myself wanting to re live a game from my childhood I turn to emulation. which yes its not for everyone, but has been a time saver for me.
Man I have greatest memories playing ToeJam and earl with my aunt from when I was 5 years old. It's definitely about the memories not about the dollar amount. I still play that game today. Sega Genesis is the all time greatest system of all times and they can't say otherwise.
Man it’s your prerogative! Why other adults care of your reasons whether it’s financial, mental or whatever your a grown a$$ man. If you regret it tomorrow or years from now it’s not like you can’t try again 🤷🏽♂️ more power to you and I hope it helped you whether it’s mentally, financially, physically it doesn’t matter! Respect for doing what makes you happy and not internet basement dwellers.
That's how I felt about losing my childhood collection and it's why I buy these old games. I loved playing 'em then and I love playing them A LOT more now. Esp. since modern day gaming is a dumpster fire and will be so for decades to come.
@@ReinMixTape ever since I got the steam deck it’s been nothing but retro games and now I am setting up the Asus Ally and I have a feeling it’s gonna end up the same
@@HoodHussler Ya. The older games were more often than not made with quality in mind. Compared to now where it's all live service this, quick buck that, don't do that amount of bug testing anymore, don't even have the whole game on the disc, etc etc. I consider myself out of modern gaming and only play older games now. Yes I would like modern game design to change for the better. But until it does, I've got my old games! :)
Also you are legally got to pay taxes. So take 25% off of that 100% and another 15% for shipping and eBay fees. Caleb’s offer is great. Selling it all in bulk and not having to spend years selling it all one at a time, just not worth it.
@@nickpapagiorgio2253yeah, but the numbers can …..move a little bit. I would have just kept the 32x games. I sold mine almost 2 decades ago and that is my only selling regret. The only reason is there are some fun games I played that are stuck to that console and they are expensive now.
I felt the same way that’s the reason I got rid of most of my games it’s very overwhelming because it’s hard to make a decision on what games to play when you have 30 video game systems and thousands of games to play
Never had a collection from back in the day but I'm currently experiencing it via Evercade with its awesome curated collection at an affordable cart prices. Plus all the minis and I'm very happy with it. Cheers man.
After seeing you sell your collection and hearing your reasoning, I decided to let a ton of my collection go as well. I’ve started my path into emulation and I have absolutely no regrets! Less stuff sitting on the shelf, more money in my pocket, and playing games looking better than ever!
I had been rearranging my furniture and stuff completely every couple years. I eventually decided to include a big open space in my place and it’s been one of the greatest things to include. Surprisingly peaceful, useful and fun!
I am not a collector but I do like playing the older games and I only hold on to certain games some I may have 2 copies of for different system my only complaint is the digital games that you get you may lose once the servers go down and you can’t play them unless they’re brought over by the company that produced them
There was a day when I was lucky to have a half dozen games, would happily toss my system in my school backpack for a weekend with the bros. Since, I've built up a collection I can't keep up with. I don't have time enough to play the hundreds of games I have for probably a dozen consoles.. yes, I would miss having certain titles and some original hardware, however, (as far as "completeness",) I'm CERTAIN I wouldn't miss the collection of sports games I purchased for my Saturn.. seriously, those golf games are painfully buggy and slow. On the other hand my arcade style games and RPGs are comforting places to be. My life is cluttered and when I make the decision (easy or not) that RGT made I'm convinced I would be able to breathe easier. Respect Bro. The spirit of game resides inside you. Cheers 🍻
The main thing that's missing that's none of anybody's businesses. You had a purchase in mind with the money you sold it for that's what it was for you have something that you're putting that funds towards so good for you.😂😂
A lot of people don't see it that way. They need a item they can hold. I love all digital as well, it's so much easier. No hoarding up all the space with games you don't even play anymore. Also, nothing last forever. Game consoles die at some point. Disc stop working at some point. The cloud will always have your back.
I had some regret about getting rid of my game collection but mainly because how I did it and because I didn't hang onto any of it. Fast forward a few years and I revisited emulation and boy I'm glad I did. It has come such a long way. Having a front end with my entire library is amazing. Sure it took a long time to curate everything to my liking but it's so worth it. Suits my minimalist lifestyle perfectly.
My wife did end up buying me a used dreamcast a couple years ago. I refurbished it and I'm very glad I have that in my collection. I have an old gamegear I'm looking to rebuild with zega mame gear but I don't have time for a project like that right now. I say minimalist but man I can't stop getting these emulation handhelds lol.
Dude! You do you, if you only have what you want, you have all you need! Glad you're enjoying life. If you ever want anything you sold you can always buy it back ...
I'm at the same point in my life. I live in Japan and have been collecting / reselling for years and since covid, shipping has gone up A LOT and found myself with soooo much crap I can't sell and I don't really care for my collection anymore. The daunting thing is getting rid of it. I don't mind taking a loss to get rid of it a little faster but I also don't want to give it away for nothing. I'm only 38 but I feel like age is catching up to me and want to get rid of my possessions and do what old people do, go for walks and have naps. I think people like us are going to increase more and more and prices will start to decrease with a lot more product on the market.
I'm building my collection to this day as a big Playstation fan working on it as we speak, even working on sega genesis games as well as other consoles I own, I just recently bought a model 1, love it very much I even purchased me my first bookshelf for my games not too long ago and I know for a fact once more games keep on coming ima have to eventually get a bigger shelf, but I can honestly say there's nothing wrong with it as long as you got the extra money for it, to me I look for well taken care of games that come with everything including manual and case as well as best as possible well taken care of discs, usually almost finding brand new can be pretty pricey but they can definitely hold a sentimental value depending on the individual, but all in all I make sure to get mint condition as possible it makes my collection look so beautiful and gives me tons of options on what to play, yes I also love emulation games on other consoles and devices as well, but I still love to preserve my games physically that puts a big smile on my face, it's been one of my sorta childhood dreams and I'm making it happen work in progress, definitely one of my favorite hobbies! But it all comes down depending on the collectors' goals how he or she sees it, love your videos man keep it up, video game nerd for life!
Moving all my games out of the bedroom has been awesome for mental health. I do wish I had a dedicated room for my games, so for now most is in storage to avoid that clutter!
This is the type of content I expect to see from a Regret TH-camr. And I have no regrets selling my stuff. I’m glad I got into the collecting scene, it was fun and gave me a focus. I don’t need it anymore though, I got a new plan for myself. Sounds like you do as well.
I’m happy for you. I’m a very attached to my stuff, though. Do I need an original Xbox translucent blue controller unopened in a box full of unopened controllers? No. But I’ve tried to declutter in the past and, personally, I’ve generally ended up regretting it. But that’s me. Everybody’s different. Personally, the only reason for having money (aside from security and peace of mind) is to acquire stuff. I’m on a mission to buy all the stuff I couldn’t afford as a kid. Do I need Firefly mint on card? Again, nope. But it reminds me of being a kid in the 80s and 90s and for some reason makes me happy. But I recognize that too much stuff can be a burden, too. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the amount of games I have and then end up not playing anything. But for the most part, I like having a toy store/ video game museum in my house. I was going to order an expensive blu ray box set of Evangelion, because it has the original ADV English voice actors instead of the new Netflix dub. The box art looked familiar, so I went down to my basement where I have most of my physical media stored (I mostly just use vudu and so forth, now. But I new I’d regret it if I sold off my physical library) and it turns out I bought that box set years ago and forgot. It’s nice to be able to go shopping in your house. My nephew somehow discovered Batman the animated series a couple years ago. I’m not sure where he would have seen it, but regardless, I was like “hey, you like batman the animated series? Check this out.” And I brought up several boxes of unopened DC Direct, animation accurate Batman TAS figures and an extra blu ray box set of the series and mask of the phantasm. I loaded up two shopping bags full of batman stuff for him. You’d think I gave him a corvette. I’m the cool uncle now. All because I’m a compulsive hoarder. So, I guess what I’m saying is, yay materialism!
I have sold a fair amount of games that I regret selling, and most of them, it wasn't until years later I hope you don't grow to regret moving all or parts of your collection but never say never.
I get it. It was time. Wether it was to downsize, you had your fun with it. Totally get it. For my retro collection, I pretty well have my collection that, I could downsize, but it’s nowhere what yours was. I wasn’t that serious in the hobby. Like you said, nostalgia reasons. As well, I’ve converted an android box into an emuelec setup, and like you, I play those old games more now than I had before. I think it’s a big win
Recently. Our family "got rid of" our game collection by giving it away to our other siblings. And to be honest I don't miss it. Any game that we had. I can probably emulate. Emulation has gotten so good over the years it is honestly amazing. You can emulate anything from the 80s. All the way to now and anything in between. Now, it may not be as good but it's still fun to do so. Plus it gets rid of much needed space which is nice. Sometimes though I wonder how much those things are worth. I was lucky enough to keep our ps2 :D
Yo bud, I HAD to subscribe after watching this video! I have the same view on collecting, if I can emulate it then I only need the cartridge for the memories. The memories are what are important and holding that physical game really brings those memories to life!
Brother I sold my retro collection that I'd been building for 20 years in 2020, not out of desperation but to downsize, and to be honest, I've never been happier. It's so easy to emulate these days. It's also so much easier to switch between games without having to remember where you put a cart or bother organizing shelves EVERY TIME you buy a couple new games
Years ago you actually got me back into ...and here is a classic for ya ....Nightshade NES.. That took me back bro .....I play them on my new handhelds today lol ...looks amazing too great video man
For a long time I have regretted getting rid of my SNES, PS1 and Dreamcast (especially that one). I had about 50 games for each one, I have felt better after getting into the Console Mini's. It allows me to get the retro feeling and all in small boxes. I now have a nice collection of wireless controllers for each of the consoles (and the PC) :) I really do want a Dreamcast Mini but know that will never happen. I do still have my original XBox with 10 games. I won't be getting rid of it. I have not played on anything that came out after it.
I agree with you. I'm a gaming/toy hoarder myself. I'm selling a lot of games where there was little or no memory. I can make the games I love stand out more and it's much easier to get around my apartment. Good job and good luck. I feel you're going to appreciate the games you love more and cherish them instead of having a mass of physical games.
Hey man, you inspired me to start selling stuff I haven't touched in years, I'm using any money from my collection to upgrade a new setup with EMULATION!
Had this same experinece with classic cars. I grew up working with my dad on some of worlds most expensive cars. I'm 26 now and have had a collection of several dozen classics. I'm moving on now and getting rid of them feels amazing. A lot of people don't realize each car is like getting a new job, and having several jobs sucks.
Yes, I agree. Getting rid of things y9u don't need anymore, I think the freeing feeling comes partly from having less responsibility to worry about, and partly from less obligation to use something/get value out of it which often requires spending time on it, since not getting value/use out of something creates a kind of low level stress/guilt. Maybe it's also the act of successfully concluding something.
RGT love the channel !!!hard to believe you don’t regret it a little . But your right I love to play all my retro on so many devices- it is pretty damn cool 😎
Bro, you did the right thing in my opinion. A cluttered house is a cluttered mind, and sometimes that can be unhealthy. You held onto the stuff that holds a nostalgic spot, and that’s why we collect. To stroll down memory lane, because getting old really sucks. If you end up really regretting a certain game you sold, you can always hit the secondhand market.
I sold my retro collection around the same time as you did too. The oerson who got it off me was so stoked on my capcom fighting game stuff for ps1 and sega saturn i had, the joy on his eyes when he was looking at them was the same joy i got when i bought those games decades ago. Im with you on just playing these games on anything, i guess its part of growing up.
I've always been a collector of many different things, but I'm the same when it comes to clutter after awhile when the collection gets big I start letting go. It also let's me start a new adventure in collecting.
I’ve sold off the majority of my collection and I continue to slim it down! I’ve realized I don’t need games and systems I will never play, so it’s no loss for me
I feel you on the water bottles building up bedside. Pisses me off to no end, but there they sit 😂 (not for too long though). Nice collection you had there 🤌
Lately I’ve been tweaking game collections on my Retropi and digital games on Switch and Xbox One. And barely play any games. But I’ve been selling my extra consoles and sold off my comics (now I have more on my Kindle than I had physical). We as men, (and women) love the pursuit of the hunt. But once we have that game, there it sits on the shelf of conquest…..and collects dust
I’ve actually been playing more classic games lately too… I’ve always had the stuff to play it, it was just a matter of getting inspired and loosening up with them like when I was a kid. :)
I recorded the Cool Spot music when I was a kid as well. Mind you, I had an old VCR hooked with an old Hi-Fi system, so my cassette recordings were if a very good quality.
I’ve sold a few things and at times I question why I did it. But then I watch a TH-cam video or bring up the soundtrack on TH-cam and I get the same happiness.
I have a very small collection but I’m done with collecting games. I’ll probably sell all the stuff I bought that isn’t childhood stuff. I love physical media but I’ve realized I don’t touch anything anymore. I think the only things I’m going to ever keep collecting are books. You don’t need anything else to read books. Books will never go out of style. Your grandkids will read books and so will theirs. I love games and CDs and comics and vinyls but I feel a lot better just keeping it to books
I sold my stuff a while ago as well. My plan was that I thought the kids would enjoy it more but they really dont care. I dont miss it at all, got other stuff to do :)
I personally went from playing through every game I got for Christmas and beating them 99% by March working full time and having a back log of untouched games. Can't seem to balance the gaming, work, house upkeep, and TV. Inevitably I'll probably ease up on TV time to boost my gaming time. Causes mild anxiety not getting to enjoy more experiences. Or having games I'm revisiting starts to feel wasteful of my time, lol.
I used to love collecting games. I recently bought a small apartment in Tokyo that I live in with my wife and we just don't have the space. I do have space for a PC and a TV though, so emulation has been king. All of my games on a small hard drive that I can enjoy with any controller and often with higher resolutions. I used to collect because I love playing games, but once I realized I don't need to have boxes and boxes of this stuff to play these games, I stopped.
Sold my huge SEGA collection and put the money on compound interest investiments. 37 years old me started feeling kind of pathetic for even having a collection. I don't miss It. I buy, I play, I sell and I move on to another game.
You know what, everythig comes and goes. As you will eventually have to let go of things it is often best not to get too attached to stuff for real. If you can be happy with few possessions and people in your life, that will make you really powerful. The root of all suffering is desire, so letting go of attachments to stuff is a great mindfulness or even "spiritual" practise.
Good for you RGT. I’m very happy for you! I only buy games, if I have legitimate interest in playing them. At this point I’ve got a lot, sure. But I buy the games to have fun with them. Not sit on the shelves for sake of bragging rights.
I have felt overwhelmed with my collection of 400+ games spanning 30+ years. I've played and beat somewhere around 90% of my collection as it's been over a long time that I've accumulated these games. That said I have recently found it easier to trim the fat so to speak. Games I know I might not get to have been traded, sold, whatever (sorry Witcher 3) in an attempt to ease the burden. I've found it easier to enjoy gaming since I've put my collection away in totes in the closet and only keep out a handful of games.
Enjoy the items you have purchased. Then let them go when you are ready. And after some time passes and you miss some items, you can always purchase it again.

Man I have greatest memories playing ToeJam and earl with my aunt from when I was 5 years old. It's definitely about the memories not about the dollar amount. I still play that game today. Sega Genesis is the all time greatest system of all times and they can't say otherwise.
RGT85. You now have your health & your wealth. It makes you happy & your not hurting anyone. Good on you. Keep having fun.
I regret it every time I see any retro console from the ps2 all the way back to the Atari
this was actually really wholesome. I appreciate you and your content Shawn.
Also you are legally got to pay taxes. So take 25% off of that 100% and another 15% for shipping and eBay fees. Caleb’s offer is great. Selling it all in bulk and not having to spend years selling it all one at a time, just not worth it.
He's still going to have to pay taxes on that money. Just because you don't sell it yourself doesn't make the tax implication go away
@@nickpapagiorgio2253yeah, but the numbers can …..move a little bit. Underreport it by a little bit, theres no on paper record of the exact amount it sold sitting at the IRS, He is going to save a bit on taxes versus if he sold it via method where anything over 600 bucks gets automatically reported to the IRS
Cheers man.
Definitely relate about clutter. My current pile reflects some ongoing unhappiness but I look forward to decluttering again one day.
After seeing you sell your collection and hearing your reasoning, I decided to let a ton of my collection go as well. I’ve started my path into emulation and I have absolutely no regrets! Less stuff sitting on the shelf, more money in my pocket, and playing games looking better than ever!
Piracy is the best policy!
"He came stayed the night with me, this that, and the other. We filmed a bunch of videos". RGT 85
Cheers 🍻
I totally get it, it can be so cathartic to purge. And with things like the Mister, you can re-live and preserve your memories.
I did the same thing around New Years. I needed the space and the money more than I needed the games. No regrets here.
Digital all the way imo. Just makes life so much more compact and easier, carrying your collection anywhere.
The main thing that's missing that's none of anybody's businesses. You had a purchase in mind with the money you sold it for that's what it was for you have something that you're putting that funds towards so good for you.😂😂
@@meohmy8870 I read this five times and am still super confused lol
@chrispy3051 me too I think I understand it but it doesn't make any sense at all
@@chrispy3051 I think it was intended for RGT and he replied to this comment instead.
Rgt, you don’t owe anyone any kind of explanation. I understand you kept stuff you valued. Sometimes you want change.
Dude! You do you, if you only have what you want, you have all you need! Glad you're enjoying life. If you ever want anything you sold you can always buy it back ...
I saw Caleb's video on the trade and I think you made out well with $40k. He kept pulling out knockoff copies.
Haha now I feel sorta bad for that dude. Sorta.
Be glad you have games and friends to play with.
I have neither...
I need to clean up the water bottles next to my bed now 🤣
I'm building my collection to this day as a big Playstation fan working on it as we speak, even working on sega genesis games as well as other consoles I own, I just recently bought a model 1, love it very much I even purchased me my first bookshelf for my games not too long ago and I know for a fact once more games keep on coming ima have to eventually get a bigger shelf, but I can honestly say there's nothing wrong with it as long as you got the extra money for it, to me I look for well taken care of games that come with everything including manual and case as well as best as possible well taken care of discs, usually almost finding brand new can be pretty pricey but they can definitely hold a sentimental value depending on the individual, but all in all I make sure to get mint condition as possible it makes my collection look so beautiful and gives me tons of options on what to play, yes I also love emulation games on other consoles and devices as well, but I still love to preserve my games physically that puts a big smile on my face, it's been one of my sorta childhood dreams and I'm making it happen work in progress, definitely one of my favorite hobbies! But it all comes down depending on the collectors' goals how he or she sees it, love your videos man keep it up, video game nerd for life!
Don’t you love the internet and telling you how you should feel?
Moving all my games out of the bedroom has been awesome for mental health. I do wish I had a dedicated room for my games, so for now most is in storage to avoid that clutter!
This is the type of content I expect to see from a Regret TH-camr.
And I have no regrets selling my stuff. I’m glad I got into the collecting scene, it was fun and gave me a focus. I don’t need it anymore though, I got a new plan for myself. Sounds like you do as well.
Getting a lump some of money for a collection of any kind is easier and faster than posting each item online trying to get the full value.
I actually regularly watch Phoenix Resale now, so thanks for introducing him to me.
Big regerts from the Nintendo youtuber himself
🏆
@@RealziesCuts thank you
Hey man, you inspired me to start selling stuff I haven't touched in years, I'm using any money from my collection to upgrade a new setup with EMULATION!
I sold recently my ps1 and ps2 collection. After trying Batocera Pcsx2 and Swanstation i can never go back to originals 😁
As long you didn't sell your Nintendo collectibles, Nintendo youtuber Rgt85
I sold my retro collection around the same time as you did too. The oerson who got it off me was so stoked on my capcom fighting game stuff for ps1 and sega saturn i had, the joy on his eyes when he was looking at them was the same joy i got when i bought those games decades ago. Im with you on just playing these games on anything, i guess its part of growing up.
@Onlyone_RGT_85 stfu scammer
I saw phoenix video of your collection. There were a few things I cant believe you sold . just a few though
Totally agree. I’m in the middle of unloading everything I have up to PS3/PS4/PS5
100% agree. Clutter is so distraction. Didn't notice this until I got older
I totally respect that you sold your collection. Clutter really bothers me. Keep living the dream, brother.
I recorded the Cool Spot music when I was a kid as well. Mind you, I had an old VCR hooked with an old Hi-Fi system, so my cassette recordings were if a very good quality.
That freaking Royal Rumble poster is 🔥🔥🔥
I’ve sold a few things and at times I question why I did it. But then I watch a TH-cam video or bring up the soundtrack on TH-cam and I get the same happiness.
I'm glad one of my favorite Nintendo TH-camrs is able to do something to make himself happy, and he's not regretting the decision!
Love when you talk about this, that, and the other.
100% agree with you. It´s more like a inner change than material one
If you're not using it and no future plans to, then by all means do sell off those items. It's just a hoard at that point.
Totally respect and understand your choice .... Overwhelming how many games you had there 😅.
Your awesome man , how's the Mercedes running ??
I sold my stuff a while ago as well. My plan was that I thought the kids would enjoy it more but they really dont care. I dont miss it at all, got other stuff to do :)
I personally went from playing through every game I got for Christmas and beating them 99% by March working full time and having a back log of untouched games. Can't seem to balance the gaming, work, house upkeep, and TV. Inevitably I'll probably ease up on TV time to boost my gaming time. Causes mild anxiety not getting to enjoy more experiences. Or having games I'm revisiting starts to feel wasteful of my time, lol.
You saw $ and forgot the joys of collecting. Too bad 😂
More Power RGT!! Pinoy fan here!
No Regrets as a Gamer that’s all you Need.
We all choose paths,. You are now the best toy collector on YT....lmao. When do those videos start? Thanks for the video Shawn
Sold my huge SEGA collection and put the money on compound interest investiments. 37 years old me started feeling kind of pathetic for even having a collection. I don't miss It. I buy, I play, I sell and I move on to another game.
I was only surprised you sold the Sega 32x games since you made a book about it.
You blew it Mr. Nintendo TH-camr.
I find that mentality foolish and economically irresponsible.
