Mercedes W222 S550 Transmission Mount DIY

This video shows how to replace the transmission mount on a 2014 to 2016 W222 Mercedes S550 4Matic (also the 2015 C300). Transmission mounts are under a lot of pressure and dampen vibrations. They should be replaced every 50K to 100K miles depending on driving methods. However, if your car vibrates when cold and the vibrations are palpable specifically from under the two front seats, then it is time to check the condition of the mount. The vibrations are mostly felt only when the transmission is cold and at 35 to 47mph.
