if you like the drummer they have some drum playthroughs on their channel, also check out more recent live versions of "The Summoning" - during the calm interlude part on the album that has electronic skittery stuff going on, in the live version the drummer is doing solo/improv stuff during that whole section but still keeping that "skittery" feel, pretty cool stuff
Duuuuuude. I just realized that the figure in the video, while gold has got a blackness almost taking over at the wings and creeping up the bottom half....... that's a reference to their other song, "Aqua Regia". Aqua regia is a chemical used to dissolve gold.... FUCK that's cool!
Acensionism and Euclid are fantastic bangers too. Especially the melody at the end of Euclid. Throwback for the older fans. Brings the trilogy full circle. Also. Token is the singer and the drummer. Singer writes and plays everything except drums. One of the lyrics on the album also references his first music project ;)
The chorus showing in 3 different genres and still connects amazingly well just show how talented these guys are. Album of the decade for me...I mean...the chord progression during the key change. Dude...
@@Childofbhaal yeah, it sounds awesome! I think the 'problem' is that most of the powerful screams is actually done by the guitarist, i don't think vessel have those deathly screams in him, at least not consistently.
The singles were all good, but the songs that released with the rest of the album today may be better. The album front to back is pretty incredible, definitely worth checking out ! Thanks for the upload guys!
These guys are masters of atmosphere. Every song on this album gets you invested. What's going to happen next? Chord choices, beat and lyrics. Amalgamation of sound. Not my favorite track but it fits the album.
There are a lot of bands that try different genres but a vast majority of the time it sounds like exactly that.. They're "trying it". Or they're doing it just to try and stand out and be quirky. Sleep Token sound like they were born for this. It's so natural and honest. This is them and that's why it lands sooooo fucking well every single time.
This album is a work of art. Absolutely the best album I have heard in a long time. The drummer is insanely good and that is what got me hooked since I used to play the drums. These guys know what the H e L L they're doing. Fantastic stuff.

Even the most out of place songs in this album can’t be ignored. DYWTYLM is an extremely deep song with the lyrics when you realise he is singing to himself in a way. In the previous album the most out of place song is fall for me. But the music video? Fuuuuck. Everything has a story if you can realise it.
