By extending the front 18 inches and keeping its square, did you check to be sure you're not compromising your turn angles....EDIT... lol, if I just waited 7 more seconds the question would have been answered.
I carry quads on it.. the overhang is 1ft. With the wood panels as well for support.. so gotta think.. a 300lb quad rolling on two 1 inch steel overhang and wood boards.. not a problem.. already been over a year off-roading with it carrying 2 full size quads. Best mod ever.. I did upgrade the axle to 2,500lbs though.

So where is the update video of how your angle iron bent at the tail?
