They do sell these for over 150 dollars and they require you to cut up your stock rocker switches at the bottom. This is a cheap alternative that looks pretty similar. As you are obviously concerned with safety, given your window nets....you should know your doors are latched with the safety portion of the latch only, as suggested by seymourclarkson. Give the door a firm close (without the tape) and it should catch the primary latch. Minor adjustments may be needed, but at least your doors will be fully latched. However, if you want the ease of closing your door, like a refrigerator door, carry on sir!
It’s not, many people know this feature but they still have the rattling.. it’s not that safety feature
Looks like a accident waiting to happen.
Need some ajustements, but very nice concept!
I don't like it.
First - this was a good review of, unfortunately, a bad product. This "trailer" is not a viable solution for most enthusiasts. At a minimum, according to the website listed in the description, this trailer is listed for $1950 + $575 shipping. That's not including taxes, other "fees" that might be associated and all the extras listed on the page (another $600+) At that price, I would expect some minimal level of security and safety for my multi-thousand dollar UTV. The way it flopped around in the front after burning the CVT belt while loading and unloading... that's naga...naga...nagana happen here. Are those tires even DOT approved for highway use? The listing says rated for up to 84mph but strangely, it doesn't say DOT approved. My 6.5'x13' Karavan trailer was less than that and for a couple of extra bucks of bracketry, is way easier to load and unload, and far more secure than this thing. In the long run, the expense of CVT belts will outpace the expense of replacing a trailer's wood planks. This trailer might be useful for recovery staff that can add a winch to it and to get to places like washed out ridges and sand dunes where weight may a factor and haul out busted SxS vehicles to a location where it can be then loaded onto a flatbed. That's really the only practical use I can see for this "trailer."
Tires are dot approved. It’s usable in its current form but not the best. I am working on modifications to make it perfect with no issues (which for the average person wouldn’t be feasible, they just want something that is perfect from purchase) . It’s def not a replacement for a trailer. It’s more for people that need a portable trailer because a full size one is not an option. There is a better option out there with front wheel support (posted the link in one of the replies) it’s just double the price of this one.
Well that’s dumb….
That is the worst towing solution i have ever seen.
Sketchy but cool. Good review!
4low and 4x4 for loading and unloading will help drastically!!
It was…still burned. Just got to catch speed to Avoid the whole struggle
There has to be better options than this, looks like each load takes out significant belt life and wear and tear on the machine with all that grinding and dragging on the metal. It also looks a little sketchy in the front as far as stability after load. While its true many use their winch for a tie down its the fastest way to destroy your winch, its the shock loading that can kill them. I appreciate your demonstration, it may be the only solution for some but should be a last resort IMO.
I’m most likely going to build drop down ramps on both sides and I think that should take care of the issue and probably cradle the rear tires when ramps are locked in an up position. There is a better option out there that’s pretty new, it cradles the front tires too and folds away. It’s double the price than a standard trailer and a bit more bulky but it looks like a better option for space saving . Here’s the video on that one th-cam.com/video/XlF7IFMNsGo/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Well done!!!!!!!!
When you sewed the fabric on did you pull netting and canopy over frame? Thanks!
Yes, folded it over tight, that way it sewed double the fabric and held it better and of course so the mesh doesn’t flap.
Awesome thank you!
@@ricknitabillstatadventures920I used the brotherCS5055 the needle goes up high enough to get it over the metal bar and sew it. It’s strong enough to sew through all the material too compared to the cheap sewing machine I got first time around.
Do you have the product info on the round rod and where did you find them? Thanks
It’s at Lowe’s Hardware. Item # 69851
Nice job
Where to get ?
How much for a set
Right
They are annoying to make, def wouldn’t want to make them daily. Would have to be a pretty good offer 😬
Hello, a cuestion. Are rear wheels two driven? or just one and the other goes crazy. Thanks
Just one is driven, the other just spins freely. So not the best traction for off-roading 😬
You know it’s a double latch door right?
they still rattle for many people. I see this reply in forums a lot
@@k-hacks1360 adjust the door with the 2 bolts top and bottom and it won’t rattle with the double latch
@@seymourclarkson2336 10 second fix
@@seymourclarkson2336 Actually his fix is pretty decent. On some machines there isn’t enough adjustment to get rid of the rattle without drilling out the mounts to allow for more adjustment. That’s not for every one, especially anyone that doesn’t have experience.
I’m gonna put a Rumbler Siren On my Pro R. So when I’m flying thru the trials people can hear me coming
No lights? Lol that be awesome. Post the link if you ever do 😂
Top speed?
Around 30is the most I would go, I held back because the steering is so twitchy at higher speeds with such tiny tires. Any movement felt like it was going to flip. Some quad tires im sure it could go way faster. Felt like it has a lot of power left
What's your ig
Hey man just got this for my pro xp ultimate what do you do when you wash the rzr
Don’t spray it directly. I’ve washed mine with no problem. I been through heavy storms trailering it and nothing happened. Just unplugged it and let it dry off. Seems like it’s water tight enough
@@frankvaldez9700 ok thank you
Awesome!!
Dang I need to do this
Awesome!
Question how did you wire up your fang light signals ?
You don’t, you would have to put an LED strip along the fang lights just like the back
Good😮😮😮
Which part makes them blink?
The relay
@@frankvaldez9700 Thanks. Do you know if you wire all 4 signals into one relay? Or do I need more than one relay? (sorry not very savvy with wiring but going to figure this out.)
@@frankvaldez9700 Also on your light kit how does it change colour? I want yellow for signals
@@ronwilhelm2467 ima guess you could either use 2 relays or one on each corner. But I’m not so sure. Have you figured it out?
Were did you get the replay?? Part number, thank you
Click in the description, there’s a link to Amazon
Excellent video. Now I have to do this for our Razor.
Have you had any issues with them still sticking after multiple trail runs and washings?
Not really, I always pressure wash it after rides. Its pretty sticky stuff. I would imagine a direct hit with a high pressure setting could take it out just like the decals.
Thanks for the video! Is that rear view mirror connected to a backup camera?
It’s connected to a rear and has a front camera that records all the rides. It’s also a tablet so it has ride command on it.
Thanks for the vid man got the same trailer gotta do the same to it to have it for my 2 atvs
What light bulbs do you use? Thanks.
The link is in the comments
👍👍
So where is the update video of how your angle iron bent at the tail?
I carry quads on it.. the overhang is 1ft. With the wood panels as well for support.. so gotta think.. a 300lb quad rolling on two 1 inch steel overhang and wood boards.. not a problem.. already been over a year off-roading with it carrying 2 full size quads. Best mod ever.. I did upgrade the axle to 2,500lbs though.
@@frankvaldez9700 glad it held up!
