Overall, I'm happy with this song , which makes me excited about the New album drop. I would've liked Floor's Voice mixed more up front. Troy shines on this song, However, I have to say that Floor needs a Harmonizing Partner that has the 🔥power to match her. I wonder..if there will be Guest Vocalists on the new album.
I love that she is there but not. Like she isn't solid. The way that feeling is mirrored in the visuals of the boys. Kind of the way perfume should be.

i personally love the mix. Hopefully people understand that nightwish is a band, not a backing up band for floor
@@xzcvbc112 One of the things I always appreciate about Nightwish, and something that I think makes Nightwish Nightwish, is that all the members are willing and able to do what is best for the music rather than themselves. Emppu is usually the one we notice in this way. He is an incredibly competent, capable guitarist, but we don't see him just shredding all over the place even though he certainly could.
I'm sure there will plenty of opportunities for us to hear Floor blow our ears off on the rest of album.

Honestly, if all children in their first school years had heard this song and read the lyrics, I'm sure that today... all of humanity would be much more cohesive and kind to each other. I had never thought about how I got here, today, alive. If anyone still had doubts that Nightwish ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD, right now?. So I just have to say that humanity is no longer thinking for itself. It's the "NEW" AI that everyone talks about, but they don't even pay attention to what it means. NIGHTWIH FOREVER SINCE EVER.

The more I listen to the song, the more its layers open up. And Floora's veiled voice of the past is heard more and more. Tuomas is a tribute genius
"Its layers open up." I love that. Couldn't apply to Nightwish any better.
This is what unconstrained genius looks and sounds like. Tuomas does exactly what he pleases and goes wherever his muse takes him. It's on us to keep up and follow along. That he leaves many behind is no surprise. This... this composition is fucking epic. And it's as deep as the Marianas Trench.
Love the composition, it grows on you when hearing it more often.
Conclusion so far: love it, all Nightwish characteristics are in there❣️

Thank you for this great reaction to the newest release from our beloved Nightwish, and yes, the metal Mozart, Tuomas Holopainen. Floor's voice is beautiful blended with the magnificent orchestration. I also loved Kai's work on the drums throughout. The beautiful soft male voice at the end is Troy Donockley, Nightwish's multi-instrumentalist and backup vocalist, who also collaborates with Tuomas and Johanna (Tuomas's wife) on Auri. Love, love, love it.

When NW released Elan to introduce the EFMB ambum, we liked the song very much and we knew the whole album would be great. But this was actually an understatement at the time, because songs like The greatest show on Earth just outperformed it and made the whole album a real piece of art. I would not be surprised to see the same pattern happenning again, and if so it is very exciting because it means this song is just an appetizer, not the most powerful song of the album (even though it is, already), and the plat de résistance will be huge! Another clever move from that metal Mozart's brain, which I agree is certainly not normal. But who would complain heh!

EFMB was the beginning of a new age for Nightwish and I'm here for it. EFMB was an inspiring album and I often listen to it while studying Geology. The rocks have timeless tales of the past to tell of our planet's history down the Aeon path. Now working on my masters in volcanology/petrology. Looking forward to the albums release in September.
At first i wasn't sure if i like the song... But when i listened to it again and again for sure i loved the musik first and then all of it... I hadn't really thought about the message but you are right. Tuomas does that in the last albums...he is a mastermind, even if all of the others go and the band change all of the members, if Tuomas is there we will always have the Nightwish we love...

Heavily reminds me of Tribal, which isn't a bad thing. Its catchy and Nightwishy at the same time, something that's not always true in recent albums. The mix is a little muted vocally, but its not a deal breaker at all.

Here’s a tip: Before you criticize someone over the spelling of someone’s name, at least learn basic punctuation.
Yeah, whilst I love Troy for everything he does with different instruments, how he has brought the folk side to Nightwish, his backing vocals and generally seem to be a very lovely man, he should not sing lead, it sounds very "karaoke-y"...they should have finished this song with Floor, she would have made it 1000 times better. IMHO Sorry

En mi opinion creo que suena muy similar al human nature / y la cancion the greatest show on earth, que no disgusta pero es mas de lo mismo, no hay novedad y floor es una pena por ella que sea tan desaprovechada vocalmente hay momentos en que la mezcla esta mal hecha y muy apenas se entiende lo que dice, si bien Tuomas es un genio creo el que nombre y la historia de Nightwish ya lo revaso, queriendo evitar la comparacion con las otras vocalistas quedo estancado en este sonido donde teniendo una gran vocalista con variaciones en formas de canto se ve revasada por las desiciones del dueño de la banda.
