- The underwater labs are the most unpredictable and eerie monument you can loot, with certain labs being better than others. Attempt to go to each of the three labs in your world to find the best one for puzzle loot or safety. This video will cover the newly implemented and randomly generated underwater labs with their loot, enemies, features, puzzles and how to actually get down to it.

Hey Jfarr I’m new to the game and even though I have seen 3 times the amount of hours of rust than my hours in game your vids helped me learn so much. Today I took my first large oil rig with the help of your videos and even though it took me 15 minutes to kill the heavy scientists I was successful thanks to you.

damn. been using multiple guides of yours. as a noob water was my favorite but want to exlore some more. so i went underwater labs. brought 2 fuses + blue and red card. first chest i opened in red room i found AK :D looted as much as i could even had 300 scrap in comps on me if not more. ( died almost twice to the scientists xD ) but i took everything from the ''ak chest'' and at the same moment i hear gunshots going off. ( now since i have lack of game knowledge i dont know if you can hear shots above the water or only in labs ) so i took everything i could and made a run for it. panicked a little when i surfaced because i could not find my kayak but it was a bit further.paddled home recycled every comp i had. farmed a bit extra and now i have ak blueprint :D will defintly go there again :D

Very under rated monument it has so much in a full pop 2x with super high responsibility rates
solid guide as always. right now theres only 1 lab on my server with only 1 red keycard puzzle.

jfarr its worth noting that when going to dock the submarine never to get out to line up as u cant mount it again if the top is obstructed

the scientists always camp the ladders for me and i cant shoot them back, how do you deal with this?

Make sure you're at 100 health in your sub before going up a ladder, theyll shoot but if you jump up the ladder and turn on them quick you should be able to kill them while only getting to 80 or so health, only 1 scientist camps the ladder in my experience

Friend question.... I joined a server and went to the lab... there was no red room in that lab? I really tried to find it... was searching everywhere... nothing. Is that ok? I thought all labs had red room :|

Do you know if the lab ammo boxes got nerfed to not contain explosive 5.56 anymore? Could've sworn I'd found some down there
As far as I know they still spawn at a 7% chance. However, if it is a recent change I could be wrong.

Great review. Here’s my only question. If there’s only one ladder to get to the next floor and there’s three scientist right next to the ladder what do you do?
I dont know if ai reacts to them, but theres an ancient weapon called grenades, green ones preferably
Though i never got to try them as i had spas for 2 camping the entreance please tell if they do the job, bring a few since 125 hp on them foes i believe

I'll climb to nearly the top of ladder then drop down to get aggro
Then I crouch at bottom of ladder, wait for them to pop their heads and then grenades or a shotgun.
Make sure you bring as many syringes, and either metal facemask or heavy plate mask since your mainly taking head shots looking up the ladder at them.
Are the subs added to console yet?

So good with a group of mates. Once we finish looting up, a lot of crates have already respawned, allowing us to loot again.

Apparently, in certain rooms, they spawn green keycards on the floor or workbenches.
What's the best way to deal with scientists camping me on top of a ladder ?
Unless you can see them from the bottom looking up, you will either have to quickly climb up to kill them or climb past to the next level to shoot down. However, if the level has multiple modules the scientists might leave the ladder and walk around. You could go outside and look through the windows to find a good time to climb up.

@@qtnlsr9126 Yeah having a gun on hand really does help. Could also attempt using a nail gun but make sure to bring a lot of meds and ammo.

Haha, loot fear happens to the best of us and I'm guilty of it. However, try to use it whenever you can and have some fun. Soon enough you'll be raided or the server will wipe and it would have gone to waste anyway.

The complete randomness can make it very difficult to find it. There could also be a chance the red keycard module just didn't spawn in that specific lab.

@@JfarrYT the nature of the labs, they are pretty much a minecraft modded dungeon its a weird mess you cant tell where is the main loot room wheres the boss, surprisingly you can still make its organized thats why we enjoy your content you put so much time and effort as much as possible just to help us understand
