Pulled pork in the Recteq RT 590 pellet smoker

- 8 pound pork smoked at 225 till internal temp reached 165 then foil wrapped till internal temp reached 205 I used molasses as a binder before the rub and it seemed to make a nice dark bark

Thanks! The sprayer is filled with a 50/50 mix of apple cider vinegar and water, you can use any liquid you want to help keep the food moist when it cooks, any type of fruit juice works too 😀

What's the purpose of using the grill once wrapped? Isn't it far more economical to use an oven?

Thanks Robert! I really like my 590,just the right size for what I need. Probably about 15 lbs of pellets,it uses about a pound per hour at 225 degrees.
