Dr. Abby Snyder, Assistant Professor at Cornell University, presents "Tackling sanitation in low moisture food systems." During the presentation, Dr. Snyder discusses how to prevent cross-contamination in low moisture food processing facilities and the challenges associated with cleaning and sanitizing surfaces in dry dairy systems. Following Dr. Snyder's talk, Deputy Commissioner Jennifer Trodden from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets talks about the cooperative agreement with New York State and the FDA through the Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (LFFM).
