A tip, summon Tiche first before locking in on Radagon, doing this will make her attack right away making Radagon more aggressive towards her so you can cast comet azur on him safely, after that just follow the video.

Hmm, had something similar happen with maliketh where he got more aggressive in phase 1.. not sure what caused it tho, but felt like he adapted to my attack patterns. Anyway gl man
The Elden Beast fight is just nonsense for several reasons. However, if you're a MAGE like I was when I finally beat this boss, try the Great Soldier Ashe +10. I know sounds counter intuitive from what most people suggest. BUT for Radagon it will surround him giving you time to drink your Physick drink (hopefully you got the Cerulean Tear in it) Hit him with Comet Azure and normally you'll kill him in seconds with this method because he gets stuck between the soldiers. Give them a few seconds to surround her but not too long. Just long enough for you to run a bit of a distance then hit him with Azure. The tricky part is the Elden Beast because while the Great Soldier Ashe works great for this first part of the Strategy the Elden Beast will rip the soldiers up pretty easy on the next. So AS SOON as you take down Radagon run up to your Ashes and cast Lords Divine Fortification (if you have this spell which requires 27pts in Faith, yah kinda high and sucks for us casters) This shield will help mitigate the holy spells from the Beast long enough for you to cast Rock Sling immediately after the cut scene. If you get the chance to hit him with Comet Azure later do it. You'll have to judge that. But mostly using Rock Sling was the spell that worked best for me as it would Track him and can go a pretty good distance when he runs away and you have to chase him down. Dodge what you can. Rock him, if he sits and you have the chance hit him with Azure, then Rock him some more when you get the chance. Good Luck.
This. I tried summoning other players and they kept dying. Shard sprial and a little "experience" with elden beast (I died a lot) was what worked... first time for shard spiral. He doesn't like it and you jsut have to overcome your mage fear of getting too close.
Summon tiche or whatever summon you prefer using, watch his movements if timed correctly you can dodge all of them. I used Comet Azur after summoning The Dung Eater finished him off quickly then for Elden beast I used black blade to start then used spiral shard for the remainder of the fight, oh and I also used the hailgtree shield boosted it with sacred to counter those holy attacks along with Lord of fortification. Number 1 rule is to be patient, don’t get greedy, and wait for the opportune moment to strike, you got this my fellow Tarnished
Kinda had the same problem myself most of the time. I found it a «good enough» tactic to just keep running from him until he switches aggro back to tiche..
Put Shabriri’s Woe talisman on at fog door. Summon mimic spirit, then remove it, top off your HP then resume. I beat Malenia too doing this plus having Mohg Sacred Spear.
There’s a theory that you shouldn’t look into god’s eyes, same strat with malenia. After you summoned tiche don’t lock and look back, be sure that tiche hit him first before initiating terra magica and azurs comet.

True, I always beat malenia at my first attempt and then this motherfckers always beat me more than 5 or 8 times before I finally defeated them.
Sorcery against Malienia is so easy...but against elden beast is just hard...I ayed both Melee and mage...
