My favorite part of every Monday, getting to enjoy some great content of Cafe De Rene and hear great stories.
Gotch seems like a good guy, hopefully he comes back with better audio. Also props for him for going to talk to Vince McMahon instead of putting his tail between his legs and letting his moral get worse. He took that chance when most guys wouldn’t

It's worrying that many fans actually believe Meltzer knows everything there is to know in the business these days which could not be further from the truth so some may take that seriously loool especially AEW fans since he talks them up all the time (because we all know he's on their payroll)

You know what the problem when the host of a show gives less of a shit*** then his all of his guests especially Paul London and Simon gotch they give a damn and that's the reason why they're going to be more successful in the future I'm in the present as well
Well, if you’re in Japan, being put up, training, performing, enjoying life in Japan, that is a massive win. Im not surprised they fired him after that idea though, having a real monkey would be extremely funny but I highly doubt they would want to go ahead with some sort of a monkey gimmick

Definitely an underwhelming guest after coming off Paul London who was probably the best guest to date.
Bro it’s about us getting an insight into the friendships and connections Rene has made over a 20-year career, not who the current indy darling is that Rene has probably either never met or worked with. Just my opinion.

@@shanestephens4728 Which is why I said this interview is underwhelming. You can tell these guys have no chemistry compared to Rene's other interviews with Paul London, Mohammad Hassan, Rodney Mack, Maven, Spirit Squad etc who he grew up in business with.
A interview with someone from the past would probably be better than someone Rene just got to know recently. Rene and James are probably working on it but I would like to see Rob Conway, Heidenreich,

Rene.....Just a bit of advice: Don't YAWN at your guests, don't act like you are bored and would rather be doing something else. Don't appear to be hung-over. If you are going to do a podcast DO IT RIGHT! Be ready with questions, engage with your guests and be conversational. Don't act like you are in High School Math class and you could care less about anything your guests say or do. If you ARE bored. Then STOP PODCASTING!...Otherwise, you are a WORKER! WORK THE ANGLE! You are a Podcast host! THAT'S THE GIMMICK! You are an entertaining guy when you aren't half-assing your presentation, so go big or go home. You can do it! GIVE IT YOUR BEST EFFORT! Think about it.....Roddy Piper never acted bored, ill-prepared or like he'd rather be doing something else on Piper's pit. Put the pedal to the metal and give this your best effort!

I can see where you are coming from but at the same time the guests really need to keep the viewers engaged. Gotch was really underwhelming apart from the monkey angle talk I switched off for most of this.
