You are one lucky man to have such a hard-working wife!!! I had a brother-in-law that helped me when I stared with my mill, we cut down the timber and hauled the logs over to the mill. That lady is worth her weight in gold. I know she earns her keep !!!!
I know you are about finished but you can just stack that siding up straight and pre drill your holes in the metal and they will all be in line and the hole will be in the metal, just a thought.
This is so great to see you 2 works together & watching how you saw logs & watching all the updates you're doing to your sawmill & farm. The wall that you're putting up is looking great & looks like it already has helped from the wind & letting the sawdust back in. Keep up the great work & the great videos that you put out.
No matter how many times I've watched you two,it does my heart good to see young people getting after the multiple jobs required in a working operation. 😊
I do love your NEW Introduction, what a nice way to start off a new year with a new intro, I love your channel. Brittney is still the star of the show! Tyler is such a great guy too. What a couple who loves to work together and share your lives with us. Thanks and Happy New Year, I can not wait to see where you are going this year.
I echo earlier comments about your Life Partner helping you. The steel panels on the shed so far are making a nice difference. The new Saw and upgrades to your shed are 👍🇨🇦
Hi, the sawdust system looks like it works great. That’s a very nice mill and set you two have to work under. I’m hoping to build myself a roof to saw under this summer. Great videos!
I like the terror cotter collar setting. I have a slat tip on my roof, and it's great to see your workplace getting. Whether tight & sheeted in. I suppose when that is done it the sawdust shed Remember you will be emptying it with a bucket So it will need at least 2" thick boards in the inside to run the bucket alongside about 4 feet so you will not damage the shed was I mad mine out of railway sleeper cut in Half & slotted in the concrete post I had mad to order But you can lag bot yours to the 6x6 shed posts up rites of the shed & held in place with you concrete base bolted to steel angle brackets on a bed beam the internal size of the without the internal shielding which gorse in last & in your case will be lag botted to the shed up rites Do not forget to put brazing diagonal on the sides on the Bild to stop it racking when you get a bit rambunctious with the bucket { get it ram-Bunk-sus } LOL you will use the 200 liners to run the bucket on Well given you a clean shed it shed A year or two to fill. For your sawdust captcha shed keep it dry until you need it & yes as bedding for your horses if the shed is of sufficient size it will take 1 to 2 months OR 1 to 2 years can be achieved to fill OK I have had my say. Remember saw dust converts to charcoal relatively quick. to charge very easily, Check it out and get a clean tin with a press-on lid say a coffy tin. Put a hole in the top of the middle & send it with the lid in the bottom in an open fire or in a fire in a bin. or fire pit it will convert to charcoal when the gas is Bernt of & it seals by itself from the ash, with & without good open when cold lid & it can be tended into gunpowder & or charcoal Brickie's got it Now one thing I did was to get a 45-gallon drum put a blower on the side then cut the top of a 16 kg gas bottle welled the bottom to a flat round plat & put a hinge on it, it would Bern of the gas & Mack good charcoal & would mix that with peat a sell it as a plant food Or a garden supplement to enrich the soil. In your case, I would think it would make good food for your fields your tailings can be the fuel to make the fire if you put a tall pipe on the top of the cover of the boreal there will be no smock product in the making of charcoal you can also put wood & bark in to Make brick charcoal for barbeques Well there you have it. which will sell if bagged up & presented well. OK, I think that covers what I was thinking. Yes, it works I think secretly you already gave it a go. & it gone on your fields. that big pile of sawdust You "composted", Well don son you ned a good sized shed .
It speaks well of your business that you have so many repeat customers. Mr Charlie must like the quality of your work for sure because we’ve seen him a lot on custom saw milling on Fridays. Keep up the great work Tyler and Brittney.
Some body gifted you a very nice grapple indeed , I was really surprised how much better it worked over a single one . That was very Nice of them I like to be busy and real busy but do like it to be manageable . Congratulations ! You are to a point that you are not hunting Work , Work is Hunting you. Every business would like to be at that point
I note your alternator is exposed to the saw dust, blow it out on a regular basis, I have rebuilt many of the units off of saw mills because they fill with the wood dust and can't breathe, there is more air going through that unit than you think, and when you need one buy from your local rebuilder not the factory, it's much cheaper.
Good job as usual. The building looks great with the red tin....it'll help keep some of the wind and rain out. The new mill looks like it's paying off...stay safe👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦 Nova Scotia
Y'all were sure productive today and having constant orders is a blessing. The rack you added to your set up sure seems like it's handier than a pocket on a shirt. Great channel....great content.
That mill is looking so good, just a quick broom on the floor and done no more grain shoveling, that unit looks like it cuts a lot faster than the other,
If you know the measurement of your screws on your horizontals ( center to center ) pre drill all your holes in your tin , after drilling the first hole keep it in place with a 8 penny nail then drill the rest it is so much easier and they are all uniform
Wayne said it very well. You both are very lucky to not be lazy! You both work hard and both contribute to the business!! Keep $$ in house!! And you better be giving her own salary to reinvest in the company. To show her appreciation and then you cant just spend at will as she may want to do another upgrade that may be a good idea!! Listen to her ideas too. And hey im mot saying you dont. !! Just putting in a reminder thats all!! And think of them and evaluate them. She may come up with some dandies!!and hey. I love that you did the new treated posts!! Now diagonal cross bracing 3x6 too to bottom of adjacent post. Then a bottom ledger board as well to complete triangulation !your posts are spaced nicely so ut be easy. But this bracing is your number one must do item. You gotta as windshakeyou will loosen the top attachments to the beams!! Make 1/4” T brackets about 16”x6” with 6 x3/8” bolts with large thick washers. You can make washers out of 2” x 1/4” flatbar!!through drilled holes each sideok. Through bolted is best as they will never loosen. Easy to fab. Get on it kid.
We call those Tek Screws down here, very handy the roof ones have a neoprene rubber under the head to make them waterproof. Your always busy and work really well as a team, I hope you manage a nice meat eating deer.
Instead of you putting up those short corner braces you can install long diagonal brace starting at the top of one post and ending at the bottom of the next post and screwed in to each girt it crosses on the inside
Love the new intro and the new additions to the building are looking good. As more and more metal gets put up are you noticing that the engine noise from the mill itself is louder?

I’m sorry folks , I was just kidding the other day about your future being so bright ,you need to wear sunglasses .Certainly safety first . I watch a lot of TH-cam and it blows me away the things I see with people not wearing safety glasses . Love ALL the content .
I was curious about the dust blower. Is that an option from the saw mills manufacturers or from another source. Putting sides on the saw mills shed is a great idea. I was wondering why you made the shed as tall as you did. Although I can't tell the exact height watching the movie?
You goofed. You should have a sliding door in your new wall so you can take lumber off the mill with the forks like you used to do, now have to take it off from the log load side
The only downside to enclosing the shed is losing the ability to move stacks of lumber or large beams off of the mill with the tractor. Otherwise it's a smart move. Or have you already thought about that and devised a solution? 😁
Just a thought, the wheels/tyres, do they suffer being in contact bearing weight in one position, could they be removed and a metal fixture be substituted?
Nice to work with a very hard ass good looking wife!! When me and my wife worked together once in a while the little brain would get a good idea and we would stop and find a spot to have a nice ……Break ! He he. Im sure you guys too have those nice breaks. That make you just grin the rest of the day !!

Thanks for the kind words!
Great video ! Thankful for your channel and family . And post office delivered your gifts.
Thanks so much! We appreciate it more than words could express!
Great job on the new title sequence, it shows all aspects of your work and leisure at the farm and sawmill.
Now that is one of the best opening sequence I have seen in the last 3 years. Watching various channels here.
Thank you!
Very good!! I like to see people improving themselves, you can turn off more work more efficiently. Great job!
I really like the way that y'all work together and get the.job done
I echo earlier comments about your Life Partner helping you. The steel panels on the shed so far are making a nice difference. The new Saw and upgrades to your shed are 👍🇨🇦
Thanks so much!
Where I live, the wind would just laugh if I tried to lift up a piese of sheet metal alone like that. 😂
Miss Brit is a hard working young lady, hope you’re treating her well.
I love the operation yall got going on!! It's awesome really.
hi there nice show , .Best to all .Thank you John
Thanks! Hope all is well your way!
Hi, the sawdust system looks like it works great. That’s a very nice mill and set you two have to work under. I’m hoping to build myself a roof to saw under this summer. Great videos!

I like the way you guys mix up the work load! Nice wall so far.
We try to keep things interesting!
You should attach some of your flitches with bark on them on your deer stand so it blends in with the other trees.
Some body gifted you a very nice grapple indeed , I was really surprised how much better it worked over a single one . Be careful of the exhaust smoke. Thank you for sharing.👍
Good sawing 👍 Sawmill building is looking good 😊 Love the IH sweatshirt
IH is the way!
I appreciate yall too . I like your movies . SEEYA
Good job as usual. The building looks great with the red tin....it'll help keep some of the wind and rain out. The new mill looks like it's paying off...stay safe👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦 Nova Scotia
Thanks, we're happy with how the building is coming along!

Happy New Year to the Wallace family.
That mill is looking so good, just a quick broom on the floor and done no more grain shoveling, that unit looks like it cuts a lot faster than the other,
Agreed!
@wallacefarmandsawmill got to love it when things come together
Great video today. Thanks.
Tie an elasticated bungee cord to the extraction pipe so it does not touch the ground.
It will save wear and other problems.
I really like the barn red color you guys picked for the metal ! Looks nice 👍
Great video I like what you doing to sawmill building it is shaping up😊
THANKS!
I really want to thank you for sharing.
That back wall looks great I bet that makes a big difference working in there
I prefer wood siding to keep the heat down in the summer, but I'll have to say that red metal looks really good! Nice job!
I always thought, you'd wear those sunglasses just because your future' so bright!
If you know the measurement of your screws on your horizontals ( center to center ) pre drill all your holes in your tin , after drilling the first hole keep it in place with a 8 penny nail then drill the rest it is so much easier and they are all uniform

I like your sunglasses because I can see a little of what you all are seeing!
Good thinking!
One year you will be able to say.
" The older I get, the better I was "
Good to see the workplace "weathered " in.😊
Building looking good 👍
Instead of you putting up those short corner braces you can install long diagonal brace starting at the top of one post and ending at the bottom of the next post and screwed in to each girt it crosses on the inside
You should consider a slab rack at the other end of the saw mill to save a lot of walking.😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
Good video
Board and batton like you did on the barn would make me happy
There was an episode on Akaska Homesteading show featuring the biuld of a solar wood drying system
I like the solar kilns!
Enjoyed video, I noticed the leading edge on the metal is lapping right this time.
I’m liking the new titles
I really like the new intro! Happy New Year.
Love the new intro and the new additions to the building are looking good. As more and more metal gets put up are you noticing that the engine noise from the mill itself is louder?
I have never worn sunglasses except when I was out in New snow in the sun.
That snow is bright I hear!
Same exception is on my harley
Great video and good job
Thanks for watching!
Doin" good,,,,
I like the new intro.
Please go back to the old one! I love the dog bark at the end of that one!
I really like the new intro!
pickup reel from swather or combine under mill would keep under mill clean.

Now you need a wood chipper to make your slab wood into sellable mulch
you should cover your deer stand with some of your slabs to blend in better
Not having the sawdust blowing back on you is great
Brit, love the overalls!
You could make some small pallets to keep your feed off the ground.😊😊😊😊😊
I opened them and placed the contents in the metal barrels.
I’m sorry folks , I was just kidding the other day about your future being so bright ,you need to wear sunglasses .Certainly safety first . I watch a lot of TH-cam and it blows me away the things I see with people not wearing safety glasses . Love ALL the content .
LOL...; the mousers are taking over !!!
you need a bag that holds nails screws
It looks like you have a post missing on the slab rack
I was curious about the dust blower. Is that an option from the saw mills manufacturers or from another source. Putting sides on the saw mills shed is a great idea. I was wondering why you made the shed as tall as you did. Although I can't tell the exact height watching the movie?

No shorts for Miss Britney today. She has her overalls on.
The only downside to enclosing the shed is losing the ability to move stacks of lumber or large beams off of the mill with the tractor. Otherwise it's a smart move.
Or have you already thought about that and devised a solution? 😁
Growing pains occur, but did you miss not being able to remove that beam with the tractor and having to remove by hand instead.
We are still able to remove it from the entrance with our tractor. We had to use the tractor today to remove (4) 6x6x16’ beams from the sawmill bed.
Have you noticed if the debarker has extended the life of your saw blade?
Yes, we can tell that the debarked has extended the life of our saw blades!
Just a thought, the wheels/tyres, do they suffer being in contact bearing weight in one position, could they be removed and a metal fixture be substituted?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Are you going to remove the wheels from your wood mizer LT40 like you did on your other Wood Mizer.
They don’t really get in our way since we don’t have to walk behind the sawmill head any more.
i like the color on metal what do you do with slabs ? lets get into 2025
How much does a 6x6 x12 go for in your area
Nice Deer Blind!!! R U Going to CAMO IT, CHEAP SPRAY PAINT ? YALL GETTING IT ALL LOOKING BETTER. .
We probably just let it weather. We have already had success with it as it is!
Teaser! You always get it done, sometimes it's just later than you want or think it will be done.. No??
Have a great weekend!!!!!
You too! We're going to be busy.
Nice to work with a very hard ass good looking wife!! When me and my wife worked together once in a while the little brain would get a good idea and we would stop and find a spot to have a nice ……Break ! He he. Im sure you guys too have those nice breaks. That make you just grin the rest of the day !!
So yo.u guys have had the new mill for a week or so, I'm curious as to the difference the debarker makes? Has it saved on the blades much?
Saves the blade a considerable amount!
Did you ever repack the cylinder on your Barko loader , Tim offered to help you , he could probably do it in his sleep he has done so many of them
Sold it. It’s awaiting its owner to pick it up.
Can we get it done TODAY..........maybe, not sure, probaly.....
If the Good Lords willing and the creek don't rise
Blonde with blues equal sensitive eyes. My experience, so keep multiple sunglasses on hand
🪵🪵🪵🪵🪵✨️🌟🏅
You guys should work just little
Enjoying watching your site. Are you planning on putting anything (flags from states of watchers, licenses plates) on the inside of your sawmill? If so want to send y’all the Army flag, and a Louisiana DV plate.
That’s actually a great idea! I hadn’t thought about! Marks channel does that, wouldn’t be a bad idea at all!
Where can I find your mailing address?
That structure doesn't look very wind proof ....
Maybe let Brittney talk a little more. You do a good job !! And i hope my structural upgrades are appreciated !! By what you gave just done in repairs has saved your life !! That was a weak under build. But i respect you for admitting you are not a builder!! Go look at builds like what you want to get ideas. But make sure it was competently built !! You may be looking in the mirror at another non builder that is telling you his build is bang on. But hey also install some clear Fibreglass on the walls it will let light in!!
Shave that rug. Lee's us see that face. What say you Britney?
