I watched the demo this morning,and ended up on the bus to the guitar store, ended up leaving with a Epiphone Les Paul 😂 dam this guitar obsession we all share.
My son has been using the Axe FX ultra for 6 years. Or more. He loves the ease of set up on stage and great tones. I'm sure he would love to upgrade one day but .. in time I'm sure. I hope to buy his old stuff when he does. Hahahahaha new to me. Hahah amazing playing as always Brett !!!
If the tones he's pulling are good enough, they're good enough. The Ultra (I believe) was pretty ahead of its time then. I didn't hop on the bus until the II appeared and I had to wait a year or so for mine. But I instantly took to it and the company and community and I've never looked back. Cheers, Robert!
Thanks. It is always interesting to see how others approach the Axe FX presets. How about expanding this type of video further with other amp types like hi-gain or external pedal platform setups. I would love a video on how you approach using any of the pedals behind you in conjunction with the Axe FX.
Challenge: An ultra budget ampless rig for young guitarists with more talent than cashola. No AXEFX! Your budget is approx 200 bucks each for: Instrument. Amp sim/multifx module. And another 200 for any up front or additional pedals. 600 total. Used gear is acceptable, bargains encouraged, but must be legit. Axefx is cool but most people simply cant afford or justify such an investment, and plugins are for bedrooms and simply wont cut it for a pub gig. An ampless rig for a proper talented guitarist with realistic finances. Bonus points if you can make it also suitable for bass players
