Say “Elohim” . It’s literally Allah in Hebrew . Not even Jewish or Muslim just mentioning it

imu70 Elohim can be Plural but this is just a plural of respect. And technically it means elah in Arabic which is god. But the word allah is different because it doesn’t have a gender or plural

You guys are mixing between Ilah (which is Eloh or Elohim in Hebrew) and Allah. Ilah simply means deity and can take a plural form aliha in Arabic. Allah on the other hand is the name of our ilah, and there is no plural for Allah. Its the name of his majesty

Also think about that ; YHWH : YA HUVE(YA HU)... HUvallahullezi la ilahe illa HU, alimul gaybi veşşehadeh, HUVErrahmanurrahim... HU or HUVE means (he, she, it) in English. Another name of Allah is YA HAY. YHWH may mean YA HAY, too. YA HAY means alive forever, means Allah gives life and Allah is the owner of life and Allah lives forever... Also Prophet Yahya (Son of Zachary), I mean John The Baptist is a Prophet like Jesus that YHWH has given life him as a miracle... So his name is Yahya... So YHWH gives life to all living things... So YHWH is HU, YHWH is HAY, YHWH is ALLAH...

@@muhammedmihalkan6717 I agree with most things you said. HU means huwa which is He in english (3rd person masculin), can also be (it), but not she, bc that's (hiya) in Arabic.

This is very true. I think a lot on it and feel that we shouldn't make this a issue in any forum but need to respect each individual and respect his/her believe. Although Jew, Christen and Muslim are from same root, but all these have room for others too. And even Atheist. Its one's personal matter if he/she doesn't want to follow any religion. We should work in promotion of love for humanity.

to elaborate some points you talked about in video.
    1. *LEFT AND RIGHT AFTER PRAYER* , Muslims face right first then left, and on every turn they say Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmat-ul-LLAH which means may peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon you all on right and also on left,
    2. *PUTTING HANDS ON CHEST* , Muslims have a difference of opinion in where to put hands, some on chest (where you put), some on lower chest and some don't put hands at all(this last one is minority as long as i know). and it is also not based on Qur'an but based on Hadith (collections of sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH).
    3. *PRAYING WITH BARE FEET* , in a Mosque all have to pray bare feet, but everywhere else is difference of opinion on that. yes we can pray anywhere but the place need to be clean of certain things,
    4. *THINKING QUR'AN ALLAH OR PRAYING IN BATHROOM* , toilet is not a clean place to think about Qur'an or ALLAH willingly, but if thoughts come and you can not control them then it's ok, but not on purpose, and of course a Muslim is not allowed to pray in toilet until it's the only place left for you to pray (which is pretty much unlikely) :)
Muslims are not allowed to talk about anything in toilet until there is a dire need.
i should also add that Muslims have prayers when entering and exiting toilet, but not while in toilet.
    5. *THE RIGHT HAND* , in Islam we are suppose to do unclean things with left hand and clean things with right hand (with special exceptions), so cleaning yourself in toilet is done with left hand and eating food is done with right hand, there are many wisdom in that, discipline and awareness to cleanliness and making it a habit so you don't forget it naturally.
    6. *TOUCHING WOMEN* , Islam does not allow any touch between genders outside of marriage other than close relatives, but you can of course save a woman falling from a cliff by holding her hand to pull her :)
going further Islam does not allow looking at women willingly, you must lower your gaze when you know you have a woman in front of you.
    7. *SHARING CLOSE GENES* , as we believe Islam is the religion for whole humanity, so sharing close genes is totally unrelated to religion, but on the other hand Arabs might have that similarity with Jews,
*IN THE END* , almost all forbidden things have exceptions to it and also allowed in a life and death situations, some are allowed but not recommended like speaking truth, other are allowed like eating pork and non-kosher food is generally forbidden but you can eat it in a situation of fearing death from hunger and only having pork or non-kosher food to eat.
i hope i have elaborated enough,
thank you for your effort to bring Jews and Muslims closer, i really appreciate that.
    *Peace...*

    • @rafoageaeatef4169
      @rafoageaeatef4169 4 ปีที่แล้ว

The left and right after prayer is similar to Judaism, because in Judaism, we also say a prayer for peace while we go to the left and right; however, we do left first then right.

@The_ Jizyah The verse 9:29 is a command to fight the Byzantine Romans and other hostile powers who were planning an invasion against the Muslims in Arabia. In context, it is a distinct response to aggression, in particular the assassination of one of the Prophet’s ambassadors.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had sent Al-Harith ibn Umair Al-Azdi on an errand to carry a letter to the ruler of Busra. On his way, he was intercepted by Sharhabeel ibn Amr Al-Ghassani, the governor of Al-Balqa and a close ally to Caesar, the Byzantine Emperor. Al-Harith was tied and beheaded by Al-Ghassani.
Source: The Sealed Nectar p. 245
This was the first act of Roman aggression that further led to the expedition of Tabuk concerning which the verse 9:29 was revealed. The verse describes the aggressors as those “who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day,” because they committed this act of treachery. Executing emissaries from other countries is a war crime that could never be committed by those who sincerely believe in God.
Caesar, who could neither ignore the great benefit that the battle of Mu’tah had brought to Muslims, nor could he disregard the Arab tribes’ expectations of independence and their hopes of getting free from his influence and reign. To meet these exigencies, Caesar mustered a huge army of the Byzantines and pro-Roman Ghassanite tribes to launch a decisive bloody battle against the Muslims.
Source: The Sealed Nectar p. 272
Therefore, this context must be understood when reading verse 9:29 so that we clearly know who should be fought. Rather, many other verses of the Quran make clear that it is unlawful to initiate hostilities against other nations.
      Allah said:
Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Verily, Allah does not love transgressors.
      Surah Al-Baqarah 2:190
Other verses and traditions make clear that Muslims must accept peace offerings from their enemies.
      Allah said:
If the enemy inclines to peace, then incline to it also and rely upon Allah. Verily, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.
      Surah Al-Anfal 8:61
      And Allah said:
So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause for fighting against them.
      Surah An-Nisa 4:90
Interpreting the verse 9:29 in light of the entire Quran makes unequivocal that the purpose of the verse is to defend from aggression, not to commit aggression against non-Muslim nations. I hope that clears the misconception you have about the particular verse you have been quoting under nearly all the comments to incite hatred. May God heal your heart from the hatred it holds and guide you. God bless

I've always wanted to know more about Judaism but I've heard through rumours that Judaism used to be a missionary religion at some point in history but changed from that. It would be great to get insight to this from you because I have a perception of Judaism of being secretive or we just don't know enough about it due to lack in the number of religious jew compared to religious Muslims or Christians.

Christians do not believe in killing apostates and Muslims generally follow Muhammad who did kill them, quite a difference also.We should all get along and discuss our beliefs as honestly as possible and if they or one fails,it should be abandoned, however Islam takes criticism very poorly, because that is what Muhammad taught.thanks

This is in the Coran and also in the Taurah, and also after sexual relations, biological needs and after the sleeping; in our religion this things induce the Muslim (before the prayer) to do the ablution in order to return "pure", in taharah.

A Muslim woman once said to me Muslims and Jews are cousins in faith. I was so intrigued to learn more about Judaism as a muslim not from Muslim scholars but an actual Jew. I have listened to few Rabbis on TH-cam but when the topic of islam is touched they compare the similarities and then become very political. This is first time in my life that I really have love and respect for Jewish people after listening to your views. Hazrat Musa (Moses) AS was blessed with miracles, he talked to Allah. He is much respectful for us. Our Holy book Quran Pak has told all stories of Hazrat Ishaq Isac Yaqob PBUH Ibraheem AS Ismail AS . When we have so much in common why is hatred spread amongst each other? We had a notion that Jews may have left the teachings and changes were made in the Holy books but after listening to u I have got a whole new concept about Jews religion. More respect for u We respect all 4 Holy books sent by Allah Almighty. We believe in Oneness of God, angels, books, Prophets, qayamat and Khtam e Naboowat. Hazrat Muhammad SAW is the last prophet. Circulating your video in my Muslim community. Will try to watch all videos now. In sha Allah. May Allah show us the right path ameen.

Arabic and Hebrew and Aramaic used to be one language but Jewish population was destroyed and Hebrew died out and only as liturgical language within texts. Arabic on other hand survived and evolved and as continuous problems force Yemenite tribes(descendants of Joktan or Qahtan in Arabic) into Heart of the Arabian peninsula. Yemenite (Sabaic, Himyarite, Qatabanic) languages influenced Ishmaelite tribes such as Quraysh, Bani Wayel, Bani Tamim. The biggest language with most influence on modern Arabic was Ancient Sabaic. Today's classical arabic is the dialect of Quraysh tribe, the cultural and trading center of Arabia. After Islam, All Arabian tribes adopted Quraysh accent. The word for accent in hebrew i believe is Lashon and in arabic is Lisaan. Arabic has modern softer sound than Hebrew, which hebrew resembles an old archaic languages such as Akkadian and Aramaic. If you listen recorded voices of ancient semitic languages, you will find that South semitics are softer than northern ones. Hebrew gimel is same as English J in Arabic.

Lostlove8548 when Jews left their land, it wasn't their choice. They were conquered by the Romans and exiled. As far as Moses (pbuh), you are right, he was born in Egypt. However the reason why Jews hold precious the land of Israel is because this land was promised to them by G-d. Egypt was not promised to them. Jews were just sojourning there for some time.

From time ti time, Jews faced many ups and downs. Prophet Moses (PBUH) took all Beni Israel (The Jews) from the trap of Pharaoh and crossed the river to take refuge. After Prophet Moses (PBUH) the Jews had a flourishing history during Prophet David and Prophet Solomon(PBUH) in Palestine. Then came many other Prophets until the plot of crucifying of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) took place as they lost the original Torah which was re translated in Hebrew around 280 B.C. Jesus came in this world to re-establish the commandments of Torah

    Hi!
Can you talk about the prophecy of Islam announced in the Torah and recognised by rachi and some rabbis :
As for Ishmael, I have heeded you. I hereby bless him. I will make him fertile and exceedingly numerous. He shall be the father of twelve chieftains, and I will make of him a great nation.
We can read on the exegesis of the khoumach by Rabbeinu chananel :
We see from our historical records that this prophecy came true after a delay of 2333 years. [Avraham was circumcised in the year 2047 according to Seder hadorot and the Mohammedan faith originated in the year 4384, exactly 2333 years later.] This delay was not due to sins of the original Ishmaelites. They had been looking forward to the fulfillment of this prophecy for all these years. We lost our independence due to our sins, however. G'd set a time of 1305 years (according to Daniel) until our redeemer would come. We must certainly continue to look forward to our glorious destiny and not despair if the Ishmaelites had not despaired after over 2000 years (Rabbeinu Bachya).
    We can read

As salam alaikum السلام عليكم. You are correct on so many aspects of faith and tradition between the religions! I wanted to mention that Muslims have always prayed without shoes. Back in old times, they had leather socks and they’re still sold today which might look like shoes so someone who doesn’t know they’re thin socks. It’s only for the men as far as I know. Prayer and positions of the hands is the same just like you said. Women tend to put their hands on the heart while men place their hands in their chest or stomach. Also in the restroom, you cannot have religious jewelry, books, holy writings, calligraphy etc exposed in the restroom. I notice you say "God Willing" which we use often "inshallah (an Sha’ Allah).’ We also say "Bismillah/With/In the Name of God" before doing any tasks. In the morning we also say "Bismillah" and recite a short blessing of du’a thanking Allah (Subhan’a wa ta’ala/God theGlorious, Most High) for allowing us to become alive again or live another day and how blessed it is. Muslims do pray facing East to Mecca only as a focal & unifying point to pray by the millions or more at the same time Subhanallah!"Glory be to God". In the early days of Islam, people did pray to Jerusalem but changed in once the main Islamic Center was Mecca vs Medina. There’s more to the story as well hehe. Hijab- you’re 100% right on; girls above puberty should wear hijab but it is not forced and should not be punished for not wearing except for prayers as prayer is not valid if not properly covered. if they’re adult age and can make their own decision and feel it safe enough to wear hijab, then they will. But some don’t feel it safe but always will cover their hair for any formal prayer no matter if their an Hijabi or not. Lol. I’m blind, hard of hearing and multiply disabled and I choose to wear Hijab and Abaya or Shalwar Kameez in the summer. It’s not required for Muslims from America or Europe to choose Abaya or Kameez but I find them so so comfortable compared to jeans and a long sleeve shirt lol, and much more beautiful in design and embroidery work. We also learn religious Arabic to perform prayers 5 times a day and recite Qu’ran- and for me personally it took 2 weeks to memorize what many take half year to several years to learn. But languages are my thing and Arabic colloquial and Hebrew are so so much alike with many words being nearly similar or having a root system with lack of vowels, if I’m correct. In Arabic we have the word "Salam/peace/hello" (SLM) in Arabic lettering سلم but our greetings are; As salam alaikum السلام عليكم. We thank each other religiously by saying Jazakallah khair. we also read and write from right to left as well. Also prayer mat of janamaz or sajadat’ul salat is used as it’s a clean surface for any place that is not s mosque where the carpeting is solely intended for Salah/salawat/prayers. I use one at home because my roommate has a guide dog and I don’t want to pray on dog fur lol or dirt that may be there. It’s not mandatory in the home, but it’s a special religious sacramental that creates sacred space in s way. Often times people who are more "courageous" or firm about praying no matter where in the world they are, will bring a janamaz or even a clean napkin for their nose and forehead to touch the ground while praying if they don’t have a proper janamaz. The Qu’ran Majid says: "The whole world is made s place for you to pray." Meaning you don’t absolutely have to have a janamaz to pray- you can pray on the grass etc- but you must have Wudu which is retinal washing of hands, face, mouth, teeth, arms, heads, and feet before Salah to be in a purified state. . You can sit to pray as well such as while on s plane or bus etc, you make prostrations the best you can modified with the intention from the heart that it’s s formal prayer to Allah. I’m so surprised by how much the two faiths are and that we keep true to the original rule and traditions. I’ve notified that Christian’s who vary from Catholics with traditions and specific rules for prayer or using rosary etc to not even prostrating or bowing in prayer or just listening to a basic made-up prayer by a minister and they say Amen (Ameen آمين in Arabic which we say) or "In the name of Jesus" and that’s it for them. It seems like there are some varieties of both Judaism and Islam but not broken apart into hundreds of churches etc. Islam has Sunni and Shia and more divisions from thst but not like modern Christianity is today where you don’t know what kind of Christian someone is or if they believe in a One single God or believe the Trinity. It seems Jewish and Muslim parishioners are very similar and keep God as the focus solely vs praying or asking for intercession of Jesus, Virgin Mary (Peace be upon them) or even saints who are all humans with fallibilities and limitations. I admire Jewish religious people as they truly are following the Torah and pray often which keeps God (Allah/Elohim) in our minds and hearts st all times.
God bless you and thank you for making these videos. I think it’s so important for Muslims and the world to know how much alike we are to another in faith to Almighty God الله/Eloah.
Sending my peace, love and prayer/du’a for all of the Jewish people and Nation for increasing our knowledge about them. Mashallah and increasing our love for one another. Inshallah. :)

Here is what Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala says about honest Jews who are fair
They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer].
They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous.
And whatever good they do - never will it be removed from them. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous.
    Qur'an 3:13-14-15

Thank you Brother you did very good job to explaining the similarities in Jewish and Muslim.
I just want correct few things 1- we turn our head to right and left to finishing our prayer, 2- Muslim should pray without shoes, with the shoes is conditional mean if you are traveling or soldiers, but make sure shoes are clean, Mohammad (p.b.u.h) prayed like it Himself.
3- we are not allow to think or recite verses of Quran etc in the bathroom or even any place is stinky.
    May Allah, Alloca Bless you.

    1) Please use MOHAMMAD (PBUH) when ever you call the name of MOHAMMAD (PBUH).
    2) According to offering prayer (SALAH) with shoes was not allowed if you are in MASJID only allow in this condition if you are offering prayer (SALAH) outside somewhere. But the ideal case is without shoes.
    3) Thinking about ALLAH and reciting QURAN in the Hamam/Bathroom not allowed. Before going to hamam/bathroom we reciting a little prayer (DUA) which is called DUA before going to hamam/bathroom this DUA prevent the unusual bad thoughts in the hamam/bathroom.
Thank you for sharing these kind of informative video. Huge love from my side to you.

God...! Having seen only jingoistic, rough Israelis who showed little respect about Muslim & IsLam, I kind of lost my faith of ever finding a Jewish person to be nice and honest. Brother I think your videos must be shared by every Muslim. I am surprised to see you address all prophets like Moses, David.. with (PBUH) like Muslims. Excellent brother. Perhaps majority of the Jewish and Christian followers don’t even know that we can not be a Muslim without acknowledging and respecting all Biblical Prophets as our prophets. This world needs people like you brother.May God bless you.

Hijab is mandatory for every girl in Islam when she reaches the age of maturity. It is about 13 to 14 years of age. Similarly boys & men also have to cover their heads, but this is prefered not mandatory.

Having studied Christianity, Judaism and Islam I believe Islam is nothing but a continuity of Judaism through the revelation given to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) directly by God hence all the similarities between the two religion.

Taking shoes off is the following of Prophet Moses when he was commanded to take his shoes off when he first talked to Almighty.
Remembering of Allah and Quran is prohibited in all unclean places. But you pray before entering and coming out.

Praise HaShem dear Rabbi. I love listening to your videos so much. I always read comparative religions and I get upset seeing how much people don't understand or respect each other. We worship the same G-D. Also, Esau is the father of the Anatolian people so his descendents are Italian, Anatolian people maybe even Greeks too. I'm a Cypriot but my DNA shows as Levantine, Kanan, Nabatean, Natufian, North African and closely related to Sephardic Jews. People always think I'm Jewish and if they are Jewish will speak with me in Hebrew (which I want to learn) if HaShem wills it. I always felt a deep connection with Jewish people. As a child in the UK, I was bullied mainly experiencing anti-Semitism by the Scottish children so I feel empathy towards the Jewish people. I always pray to HaShem for peace. We must look past our differences. My husband, who is Turkish, is genetically related to the Kohanim or line of Aaron... Which is also the male line of my son. I'm not sure what my female line is but I'm waiting to find out ✨

    Selam / Shalom
I am European Muslim, Not Arab and I don’t speak Arabic nor Jewish but I see many similarities between Arab& Jewish language. Also interesting religious similarities. So, I came to conclusion that this hate or animosity between Arab and some Muslims in one side and Jews in the other side is more of a Arab political Nationalism aspect rather than religious one !
I wish there is more understanding between both of you Semitic peoples in order to have peace down there !
By the way, personally I believe that there you have lot of territory and space so Jews and Arabs can live peacefully side by side !

We, muslims, are supposed to pray with shoes off, and only when there is a struggle to take shoes off we can pray with them as long as it's clean and Allah knows best.

As you said in your Part 1 of this video Hebrew and Arabic words are very similar. Fir example Yaum is common for day in both and kipper means Kaffara (repenting and compensating for sins) in arabic

Your source is correct about praying with shoes to differentiate, as well as fasting in Achoura, to fast the day before, the 9th and the 10th to differentiate as well
